Abstract. The aim of this article is to analyze the perception to the relationship of the functions of political economy in sports as an economic sector. Quantitative research was using a sample of 321 persons the sports sector in the departments of Córdoba and Sucre in Colombia. The measured variables included functions of political economy, production relationships, means of production, and productive forces associated with the sports sector. Objective: To establish the relationship between body self-esteem and body composition in young adults, both men and women, who attend gyms in a Colombian population. Method: Quantitative study with a correlational scope in a stratified random probabilistic sample of 151 individuals (71 men, 81 women) aged between 18 and 30 years who trained with the goal of increasing muscle mass and main-taining or decreasing body fat percentage, classified as recreationally active individuals (Tier 1). The Body Self-Esteem Scale (BSES), validated in the Colombian population, was used to measure body self-esteem (BS). To measure body composition, the five-component model was used. Results: In men, the variables of the five-component model with statistically significant correlations and associations were: skin mass in kilograms, percentage of: adipose mass, muscle mass, and bone mass in kilograms. For women, the variables with statistically significant correlations and associations were: masses in kg of: skin, adipose tissue, muscle, and residual mass. Conclusion: Low correlations were found between body self-esteem and body composition measured with the five-component model in men (percentage of muscle mass, bone mass, residual mass, and percentage of fat) and women (muscle mass, fat mass, and skin mass). Adequate gross motor skills are believed to be a determinant in realizing optimal and quality physical activity. This research aims to reveal and describe the gross motor skills of students aged 7 and 8 years and reveal the differences. This research uses a cross-sectional approach. The Test of Gross Motor Development Second Edition (TGMD-2) was used as a data collection instrument. The research subjects were male and female elementary school students aged 7 and 8 selected purposively with details (N=140; boys =70 and girls =70). Data were analyzed using the IBM SPSS statistics program version 25. The results showed the average Gross Motor Quotients in general (M=83.39, SD=9.2), the average Gross Motor Quotients for the 7-year age group (M=84.91 SD= 7.8) and the 8-year age group (M=81.87 SD=10.2). Asymp Sig obtained the results of the (2-tailed) (0.200>0.05). The results of the independent samples test show a significant difference in the students’ average Gross Motor Quotients (p-value <0.05), the 7-year-old group has superior competence compared to the 8-year-old group. Students' gross motor skills are generally below average; male students have superior skills than female students in both age groups, and students' locomotor skills competence is better than object control skills. It is necessary to optimize physical education learning in elementary schools to support increasing students' gross motor competence. Trainers are incredibly influential persons who help to produce exceptional athletes in school's extracurricular martial arts programs. Self-efficacy is a key indicator of trainer competence in the process of training extracurricular martial arts sports. The objectives of this study are to 1) determine the differences in the levels of self-efficacy of martial arts trainers in secondary schools in the Special Region of Yogyakarta based on gender, and 2) determine the differences in the levels of self-efficacy of martial arts trainers in secondary schools in the Special Region of Yogyakarta based on training licenses. This research is a comparative study. This study involved 56 martial arts trainers who taught extracurricular martial arts in secondary schools in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. This study's data was collected via a questionnaire. A questionnaire was utilized to collect data on martial arts trainers' self-efficacy. The questionnaire consists of ten statements with responses on a range of 1 to 5. Experts reviewed the questionnaire, which was empirically validated for validity and reliability. The independent sample t test was used to analyze the data, which was preceded by data precursor tests such as the Shapiro-Wilk normality test and the Levene's Test of variance homogeneity. The independent sample t test analysis of self-efficacy levels based on gender resulted in a significant value of 0.946 > 0.05. These findings suggest that there is no difference in self-efficacy between male and female trainers. The Independent sample t-test study of self-efficacy based on training licenses results in a significance value of 0.032 < 0.05. These findings indicate there is a difference in self-efficacy levels between trainers with national and local licenses. These findings may assist trainers, administrators, and policymakers establish better training programs. Keywords: Self efficacy, extracurricular, martial arts, gender, coaching license

Based on the results of data analysis, the effectiveness of the MLMBLW which can be seen from the activities of students participating in learning 81.3% belongs to the very high/very active category, student learning achievement as seen from the average fundamental motor skills above 70% have moderate to high basic movement skills, and the teacher's response to the implementation is overall positive. This research is evidence that MLMBLW is effectively applied in the implementation of motor learning in early childhood students From the results of this study, there are several things that are recommended: (1) early childhood education teachers must understand the character of students and the local wisdom used, so that the learning steps (syntax) can be implemented properly, (2) the learning model can be implemented properly, if the teacher understands how to play traditional games (local wisdom) well. Introducing culture to every child is the same as preserving the world's cultural wealth, for that reason traditional Balinese games are also important in addition to improving fitness Keywords Basic Movement Activities, Balinese Culture, Traditional Games

One current focus in education is the importance of developing professionalism among physical education teachers to meet the demands and challenges of physical education in the 21st century. Several challenges faced by physical education teachers in implementing online professional development programs include limited access to technology, reduced social interaction, and difficulties in assessing and providing immediate feedback. Additional challenges that require further investigation include the relevance of content and its adaptation specifically to the physical education curriculum and practical contexts. The relevance of physical education teachers' understanding of online professional development programs involves program design and improvement, professional growth and efficacy, implementation and adoption, policy, and advocacy. This study aims to explore the perspectives of physical education teachers on participating in online professional development programs. The method used is quantitative research with a descriptive quantitative design. The sampling technique employed is census sampling, involving all members of the population in the survey, thus including 245 teachers from across Indonesia who are participating in the online development program. The results show that over 80% of participants were able to receive and assimilate the material provided by instructors through a Learning Management System (LMS) during the specified duration of the online teacher development program. Indeed, more than 75% of participants were able to not be disturbed by network issues in their area. Significant differences were reported beyond these percentages, including differences in age groups, teaching experience, and geographical location. Other findings from this study reveal that more than 50% of participants were not interested in the online teacher development program. Factors causing this lack of interest include limited social interaction, digital fatigue, mistrust in effectiveness, and limitations in technology and internet access. The practical implications of these findings are to enhance interactivity, address digital fatigue, improve content relevance, and provide technological support. Future research directions on this topic include longitudinal studies to evaluate the long-term impact of online learning programs on teaching practices and learning outcomes, aiming to identify ongoing changes and improvements in teaching practices. Key Words: Implementation, Perception, Physical Education, Teacher Professional Development

A lifestyle characterized by imbalance in daily activities can significantly detrimentally affect physical health and cognitive performance. Despite this, students often overlook the importance of maintaining balance, neglecting aspects such as quality sleep, nutrition, and physical activity. However, individuals' daily activities can impact both their spiritual preparedness and knowledge. This research aims to investigate the influence of daily activity on the spiritual preparedness and knowledge about football of Indonesian sports students. Hypothesis testing was conducted utilizing path analysis, involving 204 respondents. Bootstrapping techniques were applied to analyze 500 data points. The findings indicate that daily lifestyle, as measured by daily activity, significantly influences the spiritual preparedness and knowledge of sports students. Notably, spiritual preparedness emerges as a mediator in the relationship between daily activity and knowledge, highlighting its crucial role. The study underscores the importance of fostering healthy lifestyle habits, including spiritual dimensions, among sports students. Recommendations emphasize the need for interventions aimed at enhancing awareness of the interconnectedness between daily activities, spiritual preparedness, and knowledge, thus contributing positively to the well-being of sports students within the collegiate environment.
