Abstract. This article aims to establish adjustments to the talent selection system for the speed category in the admission and retention of athletes aged 12-13 years at the Schools of Sports Initiation (EIDE). Excessive high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) leads to metabolic disorders characterized by decreased expression of pancreatic GLUT-2 and increased expression of liver GLUT-2. Exercise is reported to be a non-pharmacological therapy to improve metabolic disorders. This study aims to compare differences in exercise intensity to changes in pancreatic and liver GLUT-2 expression in mice induced by high fructose. A total of 36 male mice (Mus musculus), weighing 20-30 grams, 8-week-old, were randomly divided into 4 groups: C (Control; n = 9), G1 (light intensity swimming exercises; n = 9), G2 (moderate intensity swimming exercises; n = 9), and G3 (heavy intensity swimming exercises; n = 9). All groups were given 30% fructose solution orally (oral ad libitum) for 8 weeks. Meanwhile, swimming exercise was given out 3×/week for 8 weeks with three different intensities. Pancreatic and liver GLUT-2 expression was measured using immunohistochemistry (IHC) and the results of pancreatic and liver GLUT-2 expression measurements were evaluated using the Immunoreactive Score (IRS). The analysis of body weight using one-way ANOVA followed by Tukey's Honest Significant Difference (HSD) post hoc test indicates that G2 significantly reduces weight compared to C, G1, and G3 (p ≤ 0.05). Statistical analysis was done using the Kruskal-Wallis non-parametric test and followed up with the Mann-Whitney U Test with a significant level of 5%. The data showed that G2 significantly increased expression of pancreatic GLUT-2 and decreased expression of liver GLUT-2 compared to C, G1, and G3 (p ≤ 0.05). In conclusion, moderate-intensity exercise has the most optimal effect in increasing the expression of pancreatic GLUT-2 and decreasing the expression of liver GLUT-2. : Injury or wound is damage to the structure or function of the body due to physical force or pressure. This study aims to analyze the risk of injury in young footballers in terms of the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) based on static balance scores. This study used a descriptive observational research method. The subjects were 31 young footballers (age 13.6±0.5 years, BMI 19.5±2.2 kg/m², TD 15.5±10 months). The data collection instrument involved FMS and Stand Stork Test (SST). The data were then analyzed using descriptive statistics. This study found that the FMS score with a high injury risk category was 6.45% in the SST poor category. Meanwhile, FMS scores in the moderate injury risk category were 19.35% in the SST moderate category, 32.25% in the SST poor category, and 3.25% in the SST very poor category. FMS scores in the low injury risk category were 6.45% in the moderate SST category and 32.25% in the poor SST category. The conclusion is that SPSS soccer academy students have a potential risk of injury in the moderate category and a static balance level in the less category. In addition, after reviewing the results of FMS scores based on SST scores, it can be concluded that FMS scores in the moderate category are found in samples with poor category SST, which is 32.25%. This study suggests improving static balance to prevent the risk of sports injuries in young footballers. Similar research in the future is also recommended, especially the one that uses other physical component variables and different research sample characteristics.

Problem statement. In the increasingly complex and competitive world of soccer, training approaches that do not consider differences in individual learning styles, intelligence levels, and player motivation can be a serious obstacle in producing quality players. The lack of a holistic coaching approach based on differences in learning styles, intelligence levels, and motivation in training soccer players, which has the potential to hinder the development of optimal soccer playing skills among students, is a specific problem in this study. Purpose. The purpose of this study is to develop a holistic and innovative soccer coaching approach, which not only takes into account differences in individual learning styles and intelligence levels, but also increases player motivation. Thus, it is expected to be able to produce high-quality soccer players and improve the mastery of big ball games in physical education in schools. Methods. This type of research is a Quasy experiment with a study population of 140 men, the sample amounted to 44 male students. The instruments used were soccer playing skills test and general intelligence test. The data were analyzed using two-way analysis of variance with the help of Statistical Package for the Social Sciens 23. Results. The results of the study are as follows: (1) in general, the soccer playing skills of students who learn to use the global method are better than the elementary method; (2) there is an interaction between training methods and intelligence levels on the ability to play soccer; (3) at high intelligence levels, the global method is better than training using elementary learning methods to improve students' soccer playing skills; (4) at low intelligence levels, the elementary method is better than training using the global method in improving students' soccer playing skills. Conclusions. It can thus be concluded that improving soccer training cannot be underestimated without seriously considering individual learning styles, intelligence levels, and player motivation. Based on the findings, a holistic approach that integrates learning style preferences, designs training strategies that match intelligence levels, and understands motivational factors, opens the door to more adaptive and successful soccer learning. Plyometric training (PT) can be performed in a variety type of exercises involving the stretch-shortening cycle (SSC) in lower limbs. Numerous research has examined the impact of plyometric exercise on various sport performances in various populations over the past few decades. The objective of this research is to analyse the effect of combined plyometric exercises on strength, speed, and power in student-athletes. Thirty-three student athletes were classified into three experimental groups and were given six weeks of respected training specific to their group: CS (continue board jump + skater hops), TI (tuck jump + ins and outs), and ST (standard conventional training). Pretest and posttest measures on strength, power, and speed were obtained. Data analysis was done using Wilcoxon signed rank and Kruskall-Wallis test to examine group differences. Follow up test was done using Mann-Whitney whenever a statistically significant different was identified between groups. It was found that strength increased significantly after PT was done for six weeks (p=0.000), with CS showed highest improvement. Between-group difference was only found in strength which were between CS-TI (p=0.000) and ST-TI (p=0.020) pairs. Based on these findings, it was concluded that combined plyometric trainings done in six weeks were able to improve strength, power, and speed in student-athletes. The issue of this research is that many pencak silat matches in Indonesia still use manual calculations in several dis-tricts/regencys, then the calculation data is inputted into the system. This will take a lot of time, so the pencak silat match schedule spends a lot of time. The data used is the number of parties at the Sleman Regency Student Pencak Silat Championship in 2023. This research aims to find calculations to maximize the number of parties/matches/match numbers per day in a martial arts match. The method that can be used is the Preemptive Multiple Bounded Knapsack Problem (PMBKP). PMBKP involves distributing the quanti-ty of different types of items to a group of knapsacks with their respective priorities and capacity limits. The PMBKP results obtained in the 2023 Sleman District Pencak Silat Championship problem using the Branch and Bound algorithm are 175 parties on the first day, 133 parties on the second day, 128 parties on the third day, 127 parties on the fourth day, and 72 parties on the fifth day. These results can be said to be effective if applied to pencak silat matches that aim to nurture achievements, such as introductions and district/regency level matches.
