Taking into account the empowerment of the connected patient allows pharmacists to strengthen their relational and transactional strategy and apply them to their pharmacies within a new process of negotiation with the patient. Patient empowerment must question pharmacy practitioners when dealing with patients informed through the use of e-health tools. It seems important to identify the level of patient empowerment of the pharmacy’s patients and its impact because this new power has significant implications in the observance of treatment and in the management of diseases that can be implemented by pharmacists.

E-commerce Policy and the Global Economy: A Path to More Inclusive Development? 电子商务政策与全球经济:一条更加包容的发展之路?

The advancement of digitalization is gradually transforming the existing structure of the global economy. According to the McKinsey Global Institute, almost all cross-border transactions had a digital component in 2016. This is also reflected by the growing literature on digitalization and E-commerce. Yet, studies specifically focusing on E-commerce policy are scarce compared with other areas in this domain. By going beyond academic articles and including policy documents in our analysis, this study takes stock of the issues as well as the policy recommendations identified in these publications. Our analysis reveals that to promote an inclusive E-commerce participation, it is imperative to design policies that improve countries' formal institutions, facilitate the inclusion of less-developed countries in the E-commerce space, and enhance E-commerce adoption by small- and medium-sized enterprises. We highlight the significance of collaboration between and solidarity among governments and other stakeholders.

Cette recherche vise à comprendre la dynamique des conflits dans un processus de succession familiale, en introduisant dans l’analyse le rôle joué par les structures familiales et leur contexte. Une étude qualitative longitudinale sur quatre ans est réalisée auprès de cinq entreprises familiales tunisiennes. Les résultats montrent en premier le rôle déterminant de la structure familiale, en particulier la place paradoxale du père tantôt source d’autorité et de stabilité, tantôt au coeur du conflit avec les successeurs vu son incapacité à lâcher prise. Le contexte socioculturel et la religion jouent également un rôle important dans la dynamique des conflits.

En s’appuyant sur l’échange social et le renforcement motivationnel, cet article examine comment l’effet induit par les pratiques d’évaluation environnementale sur les initiatives pro-environnementales individuelles dépend du soutien environnemental de l’organisation et du supérieur immédiat. Les résultats indiquent que l’effet indirect des pratiques d’évaluation sur les initiatives proenvironnementales via le soutien organisationnel perçu est plus fort lorsque les employé.es se sentent environnementalement soutenu.es par leur supérieur immédiat. Sur un plan managérial, l’échange des ressources favorise la fonction évaluatrice des efforts et renforce la motivation individuelle pour les initiatives pro-environnementales. Les apports théoriques de cette recherche sont discutés sous l’angle culturaliste.

Les retournés sont des actifs managériaux et techniques précieux pour les multinationales (MNCs). Pour les motiver et les retenir, certaines entreprises adoptent l’approche local-plus pour les rémunérer. Cette étude explore la satisfaction des retournés à l’égard de l’approche localplus et tente d’identifier les facteurs clés qui influencent leur satisfaction. L’étude a révélé que la satisfaction des retournés à l’égard de cette approche varie considérablement. Leur satisfaction n’est pas toujours en corrélation avec les intérêts des rémunérations. Du point de vue des comparaisons sociales, quatre facteurs influençant la satisfaction des retournés ont été identifiés : l’identité personnelle, l’estime de soi, la politique de l’entreprise et les conditions des expatriés.

Management innovations and social performance: What can we learn from looking at the adoption of liberation management practices? 管理创新和社会绩效:我们可以从采用解放管理实践中学到什么?

The effects of management innovations on performance are understudied, especially with respect to social performance. Our study contributes to this debate by examining the potential benefits of adopting liberation management, a typical management innovation when it comes to addressing a social performance gap. If employee empowerment is regarded as a lever of social performance in liberated companies, the extant literature does not reach a consensus on these alleged positive effects either. Our quantitative method – a quasiexperiment comparing two units (one liberated and another non-liberated) of a French industrial company – allows us to conclude that three liberation practices can in fact have a positive effect on social performance: participative decision-making, personalised support, and right to make mistakes.

Our research proposes to explore the relationship between the international firm growth and intra- regionalization vs inter-regionalization. We are developing a theoretical framework based primarily on the advantages and the liabilities of intra- and inter-regional geographic contexts. This theoretical framework helps to explain the international growth superiority of intra-regionalization over inter-regionalization, and furthermore, the mechanisms by which intra-regional similarities, inter-regional differences, and the degree of international commitments interact to drive the growth of intra- and inter-regional firms. Our findings provide several research contributions and implications for the emerging literature of regionalization
