O mundo está enfrentando uma pandemia de um novo vírus chamado SARS-CoV-2, causador da doença infecciosa COVID-19, que já vitimou cerca de 237 milhões de pessoas, sendo aproximadamente 4,8 milhões de casos fatais em outubro de 2021. Variantes do novo Coronavírus foram detectadas em diferentes locais no mundo, sendo este um fator agravante para a pandemia e para a efetividade das vacinas. Devido a alta relevância do assunto atualmente, sistemas de notificação de casos de Coronavírus têm sido desenvolvidos de modo a disseminar informações para a população. Este trabalho visa o desenvolvimento de uma aplicação web chamada SisCoV-BR, que apresenta numericamente os casos registrados de infeção pelo novo Coronavírus no Brasil através de um mapa interativo, e exibe alertas que mostram ao usuário as regiões infectadas por novas variantes do vírus.

A energia eólica tornou-se uma das fontes energéticas mais importantes em todo o mundo. Sistemas de monitoramento são indispensáveis para manter o bom funcionamento dos componentes das turbinas eólicas. Em geral, a grande quantidade de dados geradas por estes sistemas não são usados de forma eficaz, desta maneira, se faz necessário o uso de técnicas capazes de reduzir a dimensão dos dados a fim de facilitar a interpretação das análises realizadas e melhor entender o comportamento dos dados. Neste trabalho, discutimos as visualizações dos dados reais de uma turbina eólica produzidos pelo sistema SCADA e aplicamos o método de Análise de Componentes Principais para reduzir a dimensão dos dados de alta dimensão.

Pareamento de textos é a tarefa de escolher, dentre um conjunto de textos possíveis, qual deles faz menção a um mesmo conceito ou objeto que outro determinado texto de entrada faz. Este trabalho propõe uma nova estratégia híbrida que tem por foco o pareamento de textos curtos, como nomes de produtos, marcas e serviços. A estratégia proposta baseia-se na combinação de medidas de similaridade léxica e embeddings semânticos gerados através do modelo Word2vec. Experimentos preliminares realizados em uma base de dados real contendo nomes de produtos e serviços revelam resultados promissores.

The environment is the subject of many concerns. This study is the result of research carried out with the project Implicacoes do ambiente no processo de ensino-aprendizagem, AMBENAP, supported by the Programa Observatorio da Educacao da Coordenacao de Aperfeicoamento de Pessoal de Nivel Superior (OBEDUC/CAPES). Such research aims to undertake discussions about environmental education, held from school garden implemented in schools of basic education. The methodology used was based on the problematization theory and has as its starting point the reality that, observed from different angles, allows to extract and identify the existing problems. From the observation and analysis, it can be concluded that through gardens the students learn in practice some care with the environment, in addition to influencing the actions of the students.

Nanotechnology is a very vast field which includes a range of technologies at the nano scale, such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, genomics, neuroscience, robotics and information technologies. Nanotechnology is the latest technological innovation in global debates on risk regulation and international cooperation. Regulatory bodies have started dealing with the potential risks posed by nanoparticles. Since 2004 the European Union has been developing a regulatory policy to tighten control and to improve regulatory adequacy and knowledge of nanotechnology risks. Currently, specific provisions on nanomaterials have been introduced for biocides, cosmetics, food additives, food labelling and materials in contact with foodstuff. The statement that nanotechnologies do inevitably imply ethical questions. The main problems are public trust, potential risks, issues of environmental impact, transparency of information, responsible nanosciences and nanotechnologies research. The aim of this article is to analysis the main problems regulating nanotechnology and some aspects of ethics.

The present study aims to analyze the framework of SARS-CoV-2 - a pandemic caused by COVID-19 in Brazil - characterizing it as an occupational disease, and the possibility of the patient apply for the temporary disability benefit from the Instituto Nacional do Seguro Social - INSS . In this sense, the study traverse, preliminarily, the concept of temporary disability, presenting the requirements provided for in the specific legislation, so the laborer can apply for the benefit with the social security agency. Afterwards, the risk caused by COVID-19 to the Brazilian worker versus the need for work for survival will be analyzed. Consequently, the pandemic that has plagued Brazil is addressed, as well as discussing the possible characterization of such as an occupational disease, in a way that allows the worker to be infected by the virus to apply for the temporary disability benefit before the autarchy, being granted to the insured. To this end, it will be used as a deductive research method, in a bibliographic way, based on the Brazilian legal system and on researchers who address the theme. Finally, it is believed that there is a need to grant the temporary disability benefit to workers who apply for it because they have been infected with the COVID-19 virus, since it can be considered an occupational disease, having been acquired in the work environment. , the result of their livelihood, with no other alternative left for the worker other than facing the risk of contagion of the virus to carry out their work.
