Introduccion: a pesar de su importancia, el reporte formal y pormenorizado de la validez de contenido de los instrumentos psicometricos ha sido frecuentemente descuidado. En un trabajo previo, la Escala de Perfeccionismo Infantil de Oros (2003), de origen argentino, fue adaptada linguistica y culturalmente al contexto venezolano. Objetivo: el proposito del presente estudio fue estimar la validez relacionada con el contenido de la version venezolana de la escala antedicha a traves del criterio de jueces. Metodologia: un grupo de expertos en el tema del perfeccionismo juzgo si existe correspondencia entre lo que parece que mide cada reactivo del instrumento y la dimension a la que pertenece; para cuantificar el acuerdo interjueces se uso el denominado Indice de Validez Factorial (fvi). Resultados: la escala total y las llamadas “Autodemandas”, que se refieren a pensamientos perfeccionistas, obtuvieron indices satisfactorios (fvi > 0,80). Hubo menos acuerdo con los items de la dimension “Reacciones ante el fracaso”, en parte atribuible a factores de diferenciacion cultural que influyen en la expresion emocional. Conclusiones: ahora puede proseguirse con el resto de la validacion psicometrica de la prueba. Otros estudios que persigan un objetivo similar al de este trabajo podrian emular el procedimiento aqui expuesto.

Introduction: This article is the product of the research project “Social Memory Constructions around Soccer-Related Violence: Discourse Analysis in the Newspaper El Colombiano from Medellin.” Objective: The purpose of the research was to understand the constructions of social memory of soccer violence in the press. Methodology: This study was conducted from a qualitative approach, through discourse analysis, whereby discursive strategies and functions of narratives that are used to refer to the phenomenon are explored. The analysis of 188 journalistic articles produced by the newspaper El Colombiano in the period between 2010 and 2015 was conducted. Results: Crystallized memories of violence in soccer are presented, which are historic narrations, such as the memory of an ideal past without violence; the beginnings of violence: the 5-1 result of Colombia vs. Argentina and the murder of Andres Escobar; and the establishment of violence: the relationship of drug trafficking with soccer and the influence of hooligans. Conclusions: It is possible to argue that the press has a special place in the institutionalization and circulation of memories regarding soccer and violence.

Purpose: To describe the activities that have been carried out in the context of the application of the community psychology model to Mexican youth (called “Juvenile Offenders”) who, for various reasons, have been referred to the so-called juvenile detention centers, located in the state of Mexico, in the metropolitan area of Mexico. Topic: Awareness of the activities that have been carried out with juvenile offenders will prospectively allow to design increasingly relevant intervention strategies for the population concerned based on community social psychology. Development: At first, some considerations on how psychology students from the School of Higher Studies (FES by its Spanish acronym) Iztacala, UNAM, are trained in the field of research are discussed and then the manner in which an effective intervention with Mexican juvenile offenders can be made is presented. The various interventions that have been made in juvenile detention centers are listed, as well as the methodology used, showing the progress of such intervention and proposals for improvement in the work carried out by psychology students from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico, FES Iztacala. Conclusions: It is expected that this model will serve to train students in similar scenarios in Latin America, considering ethical relevance and social commitment to the social sphere, as well as deductive and inductive dynamics involved in the research-intervention process.

Introduccion: los datos que se registran sobre el consumo de alcohol son importantes para el diagnostico y pronostico de trastornos por uso de alcohol. Objetivo: este estudio descriptivo tuvo como objetivo caracterizar las referencias sobre consumo de alcohol y otras variables relacionadas en los registros hospitalarios de pacientes atendidos en una unidad especializada en alcoholismo de un hospital publico de la ciudad de Mar del Plata, Argentina. Metodologia: se examinaron los registros de 60 admisiones entre febrero y noviembre del 2011, y se categorizaron extrayendo datos referidos al consumo de alcohol, fuente de la derivacion, diagnostico, tratamiento, internaciones y otras enfermedades, asi como aspectos del entorno familiar y socioeconomico. Posteriormente, se realizaron analisis descriptivos teniendo en cuenta el porcentaje de registros en los que se mencionaban estos aspectos. Resultados: si bien el registro de datos referentes al consumo de alcohol fue alto, por lo general fue incompleto. La informacion registrada denoto que las condiciones biopsicosociales en las que se encuentran estos pacientes son poco favorables para un tratamiento exitoso. Conclusiones: se discute la necesidad de sistematizar la informacion, por ejemplo, a traves de historias clinicas unificadas, junto con formas de prevenir la progresion de trastornos por uso de alcohol.

Introduction: Coexistence constitutes a major factor in establishing social relations. In Colombia, unfortunately, it has been fractured by high rates of violence that have required the implementation of public policies, many of them imposed and away from the needs of communities. Objective: For this reason, it is essential that communities define and give meaning to coexistence in order to make proposals closer to reality. In this regard, the article seeks to identify the meanings that, in relation to the practices of community coexistence, are built by a group of leaders. Methodology: A qualitative descriptive study with an ethnographic design was conducted in a group of five (5) leaders. Results: Coexistence was defined as those processes that make it possible to construct and establish agreements that guarantee the consolidation of good relations in the community and avoid conflict. This concept can only operate to the extent that solidarity becomes the value guiding relationships and that community participation is effective. However, this solidarity behavior finishes in the act of helping itself and does not extend to other community experiences that promote social cohesion. Conclusions: An idealized vision of coexistence around a desired solidarity was evident. In everyday life, dynamics focused on individualism and apathy take precedence, because of mutual distrust, politicization of relations and a bandaid vision that prevents transformation from a collective project.

Introduction: Although binge eating disorder (bed) is a major health problem, less than half of sufferers receive treatment. Objective: To review recent literature on interventions carried out in bed cases. Method: In order to conduct this narrative review, the databases PubMed, Medline and Scielo have been consulted. Only articles in indexed journals in the Web of Science were chosen. The literature reviewed corresponds to the most cited articles published in the period between 2010-2015. Results and conclusions: The results show that the most commonly used interventions are those of psychological nature, including cognitive behavioral therapy and interpersonal therapy, the latter recommended in patients with a more severe pathology. The behavioral therapy for weight loss is less effective by not reducing binge eating; therefore, it is not the treatment of choice. Although some antidepressant and antiepileptic drugs have shown some utility in reducing binge eating, weight and comorbidities, there is no evidence that pharmacological intervention alone is more effective than psychological intervention, or that it improves the results of the latter when both are applied together.
导读:虽然暴食症(床)是一个主要的健康问题,但只有不到一半的患者接受治疗。目的:回顾近年来有关卧床病人干预措施的文献。方法:为了进行本文的叙述性综述,我们查阅了PubMed、Medline和Scielo数据库。只有在Web of Science索引期刊上的文章才被选中。所回顾的文献对应于2010-2015年间发表的被引次数最多的文章。结果与结论:结果表明,最常用的干预措施是心理性质的干预措施,包括认知行为治疗和人际关系治疗,后者推荐用于病理较严重的患者。不减少暴饮暴食的减肥行为疗法效果不佳;因此,它不是治疗的选择。虽然一些抗抑郁药和抗癫痫药在减少暴食、体重和合并症方面显示出一定的效用,但没有证据表明单独的药物干预比心理干预更有效,也没有证据表明药物干预和心理干预一起使用能改善心理干预的结果。

This review elaborates on an argument that describes the relevance of studying executive functions in the context of assessment and intervention. The main topics discussed in the article, such as conceptualization of executive function, general principles of intervention and effectiveness of some training programs, are described. It concludes by emphasizing the need to explore different intervention methods to choose the one that best suits the individuality of each subject. Similarly, the interest of the vast majority of researchers in studying training methods aimed at schoolchildren, putting aside those who are not linked to a formal education process, is criticized.

Introduccion: el presente estudio aborda la cuestion de diferencias individuales en razonamiento deductivo. En el se tratan algunas de las variables relacionadas con el campo: las habilidades cognitivas, el desarrollo, el genero y la cultura de las personas. Objetivo: se pretende ofrecer una revision narrativa de las principales propuestas dentro del area, con especial atencion a los factores sociales. Metodologia: se realiza un analisis cualitativo de la bibliografia existente, relevando aportes principalmente clasicos, y algunos recientes. Resultados: han sido detectadas variables de diferencias individuales que pueden contribuir a una mejor comprension del fenomeno bajo estudio. Conclusion: se presentan de manera sintetica los principales hallazgos y limitaciones del trabajo, relacionadas estas con la combinacion de evidencia en futuros estudios metaanaliticos.

Introduction: Anxiety is a normal human response, but becomes pathological when it persists and endures over time. According to national and global studies, this is one of the disorders that has increased, apparently and more frequently affecting young people. Objectives: To determine the relationship between school types and levels of anxiety, and find differences or similarities in gender and grade, according to school type in a sample of Colombian children. Methodology: Quantitative, cross-sectional research, with a descriptive scope by comparing groups. The sample consisted of 658 schoolchildren from public and private schools between third grade of primary education and seventh grade of high school; the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory for Children (STAIC) in the version validated for Colombia was used. Results: Statistically significant differences were found in the ratings for the concern component, with higher scores on the sample of students from private schools, higher serenity scores for males and higher concern scores for females. Moreover, there are no differences in levels and types of anxiety according to school grade. Conclusions: There are higher levels of anxiety in children enrolled in private schools and higher levels of concern in school girls.
