The study aimed to know: 1) the effect of emotional intelligence on aggressive behavior, 2) the effect of self-control on aggressive behavior, 3) the influence of emotional intelligence on Islamic education’s learning achievement, 4) the effect of self-control on Islamic education’s learning achievement, 5) the influence of behavior aggressive towards Islamic education’s learning achievement, 6) the influence of emotional intelligence on Islamic education’s learning achievement through aggressive behavior, 7) the effect of self-control on Islamic education’s learning achievement through aggressive behavior. This study used quantitative approach with the correlational method. Data was collected using a questionnaire to measure emotional intelligence, self-control, and aggressive behavior. Meanwhile, the researcher used the documentation of the final score of the report to measure the Islamic education’s learning achievement of students. The sample was 100 respondents. The data analysis technique used the Partial Least Square (PLS) test with smart PLS software. The results showed that: (1) significant negative effect of emotional intelligence on students' aggressive behavior (p-value 0.001 <0.05). (2) significant negative effect of self-control on students' aggressive behavior (p-value 0.000 <0.05). (3) significant positive effect of emotional intelligence on students' learning achievement (p-value 0.030 <0.05). (4) significant positive effect of self-control on students' learning achievement (p-value 0.037 <0.05). (5) significant negative effect of aggressive behavior on students' learning achievement (p-value 0.004 <0.05). (6) significant indirect effect of emotional intelligence on learning achievement through student aggressive behavior (p-value 0.028 <0.05). (7) significant indirect effect of self-control on learning achievement through student aggressive behavior (p-value 0.011 <0.05).

Due to its significance, character education implementation at Indonesian educational institutions including the Indonesian Islamic Boarding School (pesantren) is compulsory. However, the quality of its implementation within pesantren needs to be developed. This research was conducted to investigate the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) in the character education process as an endeavour to create Indonesian good citizens. To achieve the research objectives, a qualitative case study design at Pesantren Gontor was employed. The research found that the process of character education at this pesantren is based on the core values of Gontor. There are some core characters inculcated at Gontor comprising sincerity, simplicity, self-reliance, care, freedom, religiousness, tolerance, discipline, and responsibility. Those characters are inculcated through the dynamic totality of campus life which contains a wide range of activities aimed at creating good citizens for Indonesia. The methods of character education are role model, creating a conducive milieu, directing, giving assignments, habituation, instruction, and training. Those methods are underpinned by the implementation of the basic concept of TQM that emphasises customer satisfaction which is limited by Gontor values. Based on the research findings, pesantren- based character education which is underpinned by TQM could be adopted by other models of educational institutions.

Darussalam Modern Gontor Islamic Institution is one of the Islamic educational institutions that pay great attention to language development and places it in an essential position through the creation of a formal and natural language environment. Moreover, it is used as the official language for students in daily communication. Besides, this language was implemented for activities and movements with an Arabic environment. This study aims to determine the formation of the language environment and its role in language acquisition for students of class 5 Darussalam Modern Gontor Islamic Institution for girls Campus 1 Sambirejo Mantingan Ngawi, East Java, especially in speaking skills. description. This research shows that the quality of a good, interesting, and abundant language environment plays a pivotal and effective tool in language learning, for this reason, the practice of using Arabic in daily life communication in both formal and natural environments should be considered. So that students of class 5 Darussalam Modern Gontor Islamic Institution 1 for girls Campus Sambirejo Mantingan Ngawi, East Java, can gain the goal of learning the language, namely the acquisition of a second language, especially in speaking skills.

The function of the mosque in the time of the Prophet Muhammad as the center of Islamic civilization with a good level of prosperity. The mosque at that time had various functions, not only as a place of worship, but also as a place of knowledge and as a center of social activities. However, it is very unfortunate because at this time the function of the mosque operates in a strict sense as a ritual of worship. In fact, many mosques are not maintained, so the level of prosperity tends to be low. The existence of the Jogokariyan Mosque is good news for Muslims. A mosque that grows and develops with programs that modernly seek to empower the congregation and the surrounding community. The Jogokariyan Mosque has been categorized as a civilized and prosperous mosque. Jogokariyan Mosque as a strategic location to carry out the dual functions of hablum minallah and hablum minannas. This means that the mosque is a house of worship and the mosque is empowered as a social house. This study aims to reveal the efforts made by the Jogokariyan Mosque so that the community at large can feel its role. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with interviews, observations and literature review as a research reference. From the results of the study, it appears that the Jogokariyan Mosque has an important influence and role in the prosperity of its congregation. this shows that a prosperous mosque will have an effect on the prosperity of its congregation.

Today, there are often irregularities in the educational process. This is due to a lack of attention on the issue of the planting of morals and character of students, which focuses only on physical and intellectual education regardless of the education of students. Therefore, researchers are interested in researching more about moral education known as Tazkiyatun Nafs . The researcher utilized the concept of Imam Al Ghazali & Ibn Qayyim Al Jauziyyah by analyzing the similarities and differences between the two. The type of research is library research. The main data of this study was the book of Ihya' Ulumuddin & Ar-Ruh. The data obtained is by using the documented method. While in its analysis researcher use descriptive methods, comparative methods, and core or content analysis methods. According to Imam Al Ghazali , Tazkiyatun Nafs is an effort to improve morality and mental medicine and animate life with Islamic values. Then, according to Ibn Qayyim al-Jauziyah, Tazkiyatun Nafs is purifying himself by infusing a good ubudiyah with ta'dib . The two figures share the same understanding of the concept of Tazkiyah as an attempt to draw closer to Allah Almighty and the need to plant ta'dib in each teaching process by example in education. The differences between the two include the application of the Tazkiyatun Nafs method; Imam Al Ghazali emphasized three aspects namely Tathahhur, Tahaqquq, and Takhalluk . And Ibn Qayyim al-Jauziyyah emphasized the three different; Al Ilm, Riyadhah, and Takhalluk.

This study aims to delve deeper into the management commonly used by educational institutions. The management of educational institutions adopts control in industry and business, with some adjustments to meet the needs of stakeholders, so that the success of educational institutions is determined by stakeholder satisfaction. It is not wrong if educational institutions implement integrated quality management. Still, suppose, it is not carefully mixed and filtered. In that case, this kind of management becomes a significant factor in changing educational goals, measuring the progress of educational institutions, and damaging teacher-student relationships in the world of education. At the end of the study, there are several points in Islamic education to filter the values that must be maintained in the implementation of quality management of educational institutions and maintain educational goals, measures of the progress of educational institutions, and the relationship that should exist between teachers and students.

Modern Islamic Institution Darussalam Gontor (PMDG) is One of the educational institutions in Indonesia that has been consistent in learning Arabic since its inception due to there are many Arabic works produced by the student community component within the institution. The purpose of this study is to specifically describe the works of non-Arabic Speaker Arabic students and explain the process of collecting and digitizing Arabic corpus data sources made by non-Arabic Speaker Arabic students at Modern Islamic Institution Darussalam Gontor, Ponorogo, East Java. This research employs a field study with a descriptive qualitative analysis approach as a research method. The results reveal that, first, the works of Arabic language students based on the type of data can be categorized into two parts, namely written Arabic works (written products) and spoken Arabic works (Spoken Products). Conventional written data can be read by software and conventional data cannot be read. Second, the process of collecting and digitizing Arabic corpus data by Arabic non-Arabic Speaker students at Modern Islamic Institution Darussalam Gontor was carried out in three stages. The first stage converts the conventional data in the form of handwriting and voice recordings to digital data in *doc format. The second stage is the conversion of digital data in *doc format into plain text (*txt) format. The third stage is to enter data in *txt format into a web-based data processing engine, namely Sketch Engine. Thus, the digital corpus data is ready to be processed into a study based on certain linguistic objectives.

One of the main problems of Indonesian education is the low professionalism of teachers. Many teachers in the country have low professional competence. Moreover, the low competence of teachers is mostly caused by a lack of motivation in carrying out work and improving self-competencies. In order to provide a perspective related to this problem, this study aims to analyze the concept of professionalism based on Imam Zarkasyi's thoughts about the figure of teacher. The type of research is library research with the data derived from the literature sources. The data analysis technique used the descriptive qualitative method and data validation used the source triangulation technique. This study found that in Imam Zarkasyi's thought, the essence of teacher professionalism lies in the spiritual value embodied by the figure of the teacher. From the so-called the ruh mudarris, the other competencies that support the teacher's activities are built, from mastery of maddah (material) that reflects professional competence, mastery of methodical skills (al-tariqah) or pedagogical competence, to teacher’s etiquette and character as personality and social competence. Imam Zarkasyi's thinking reflects the paradigm of professionalism that is socially oriented and accommodates spiritual values.

The Qur'an is part of the subjects of Islamic religious education given to understand and practice the Qur'an so that it is able to read fluently, translate, infer the contents, copy and memorize selected verses and understand and practice the chosen hadiths. But in this era of globalization, the learning of the Qur'an hadith is considered very low, it is evident that many students do not understand the material of the Quran hadith properly and correctly, especially in implementing it in everyday life, it is due to the lack of interest in learning students of Qur'an hadith material due to learning methods that tend to be less active and boring that result in students' learning outcomes for low Qur'anic hadith material. this research aims to find out the effect of the application of cooperative script learning models on learning outcomes in Qur'an lessons hadith of class VII students in MTs Miftahul Jannah to increase student knowledge, increase student activeness in the learning process so that it can affect learning outcomes. This research uses a quantitative approach, with the design used is true design experiment with design, namely pretest-posttest control group design. Sampling technique using simple random sampling. Then the instruments used in this study researchers use test research instruments. The results of this study show that there is an influence on the application of cooperative script learning model on student learning outcomes in the subjects of the Qur'an hadith. This was shown by the results of the average posttest grade of the experimental class higher than the control class, which was 75.44 for the experiment class and 62.48 for the control class. As for the results of hypothesis testing (Test T) the results of hypothesis testing obtained data against posttest data of experimental groups and control groups using independent tests T-Test (Test t) with significance results (Sig 2 Tailed) 0.000 < 0.05, then Ho was rejected and H1 accepted, so it can be concluded that the use of cooperative script learning model affects the learning outcomes of Qur'anic hadith subjects.
