The number of online mobile gaming users is growing at a rapid pace, and businesses are struggling to cope with this evolution and to develop more effective strategies. In online mobile games, the “in-game purchase” is the most crucial stream of revenue for game developers. Past literature has merely focused on online purchase intention in relation to consumer lifestyle, information risk, experience, behavioral control and subjective norms. The research which delves into in-game purchase intention remains sparse. This study is the pioneer to investigate chronotypes’ (evening and morning-type individuals) and online mobile game loyalty impact on in-game purchase intention. A sample of 313 of two Chinese universities students confirms that evening types have greater online mobile gaming loyalty and high in-game purchase intentions than morning-type individuals, whereas game loyalty has a positive relationship with in-game purchase intention. Furthermore, we discussed paper contributions and insights for managers have been outlined to develop an effective online mobile gaming strategy. Directions for future research are also stated for researchers and academicians.

This research aims to address the issue of brand loyalty while identifying its potential predictors. Along with the relationships of consumer satisfaction, attitude towards brand and brand loyalty. Attitude towards brand plays its role as a mediator. consumer satisfaction has significant positive impact on attitude towards brand and brand loyalty. Attitude towards brand partially mediates the relationship of consumer satisfaction and brand loyalty. For generalizing the result, current research can also be extended to customers of other users of products like FMCGs, luxury items and even for industrial products in which effect of consumer satisfaction and attitude towards brand may be even more prominent in enhancing the level of brand loyalty. This research explains how attitude towards Apple mobiles shape the consumer satisfaction and marketers can boost the level of brand loyalty by promoting the more credible customers of Samsung mobiles. This research adds in the body of literature by proposing the consumer satisfaction, attitude towards brand and brand loyalty in a single model. For the practical point of view this research describes that consumer satisfaction and attitude towards brand are equally important in shaping the brand loyalty. Simple random sampling technique is used for gathering the data from 220 respondents of Apple Pakistan from Lahore. Reliable and valid scales have been used for measuring the consumer satisfaction, attitude towards and brand loyalty.

Abstract The study traces the evolution of the concept of time from ancient to postmodern times. It explores how great philosophers, theoreticians and scientists have treated the idea of time during different periods. The research finds out that despite the variegated nature of the development of the concept of time, much of human history has observed alternate periods of the linear, teleological and cyclical, non-teleological conceptions of time. The study has established that the same alternating trends mainly influence the human perception of time during the modern and postmodern eras. It also indicates that the progressive and teleological view of time resonates well with the spirit of the modern age. On the other hand, the research argues that the perpetual present, as a non-teleological notion of time, predominates the postmodern time-world.

The study observes that in the early twenty-first century different Pakistani comic televisual political satire shows started discussing current affairs and international relations. The United States of America remains one of the main targets of Pakistani televisual satire in the new century. The research finds that Pakistani televisual satire effectively exposes the flaws of the US foreign policy. Pakistani televisual satirists are very critical of America’s exploitative neocolonial enterprise. The satire among other things condemns America’s anti-Islam narrative and Islamophia; invasion of other nations and violation of their sovereignty; lust for oil and power; utilitarian foreign policy; and false pretexts for the war on terror. The research analyses the relevant satirical content of two of the representative shows. The study argues that the twenty-first century Pakistani televisual satire may be regarded as a counter-narrative. Additionally, the study uses Arthur Asa Berger’s classification of humour (1993) to explain the devices behind the satire making it effective. In this way, the study highlights the literary merit of Pakistani televisual satire. The research proposes that Pakistani televisual satire may be acknowledged as a subgenre of political satire.

This study analyzed cross border news coverage by India and Pakistan’s English dailies (The Times of India, The Hindu, Dawn and The Nation) from 1st June 2014 to 31st May 2018 by focusing on Social indicators such as religion, culture and social structure which are further sub-divided into issues. The research design of the study implied quantitative and qualitative approaches. The author analyzed the content of 4480 news headlines and sub-headlines from front, back and international pages with their directional analysis and tested by two sample proportion tests as per the significance and association of variables. It was found that more coverage was given to the religious news than other social indicators. Cultural indicator was given most positive and religious news most negative coverage among the indicators while Hindu-Muslim issues was given most negative coverage among news issues. It was observed that 62.20% news stories were framed negatively, 19.74% positively and 18.06% neutrally. Indian newspapers covered Pakistani social issues more negatively than Pakistani newspapers. Times of India and Dawn framed cross borders social issues less negatively than The Hindu and Nation respectively. The content of the news is observed to be direct announcements, attacking proclamations, biased and partial pronouncements, patriotic statements and denoted war rather than peace journalism. This study recommends professional and peace journalism to promote neutral opinion about culture and especially religious thoughts among people from both sides. Keywords: Culture, Religion, Hindu-Muslim, News Coverage, Peace Journalism

Although with the rapid number of increased public and private higher education institutions in Pakistan, today the biggest challenge for stakeholders and the educational institutions is to ensure quality of higher education. The current study was aimed at investigating the influence of student feedback on teaching effectiveness and students’ satisfaction. The research philosophy of this study is positivism and the research design is explanatory design. The research approach is deductive reasoning. The type of investigation is causal study. The population of this study is all engineering universities of Sindh. Sample size was n=1066 collected from undergraduate students of ten public and private institutions in university setting. The unit of analysis for quantitative study is individual university student. The time horizon for this study was cross-sectional. Sampling technique was probability sampling wherein simple random sampling technique was used for data collection. Cronbach Alpha Reliability of the instrument (34 items) was 0.938 which was considered quite good (Hair, Black, Babin, Anderson, & Tatham, 2011).Quantitative data were analyzed through statistical software, AMOS version 22 wherein 2nd Order CFA and SEM were performed. The results of study revealed that students’ feedback has a significant impact on teaching effectiveness at higher education level and teaching effectiveness has a significant impact on students’ satisfaction at higher education level as (β=1.553, p value=0.000) and (β=0.981, p value=0.000) respectively. This study recommends that student feedback is valid, consistent, and reliable for the teaching effectiveness and students’ satisfaction. Seminars and workshops should be arranged on the importance of student feedback for creating awareness and trust building among the students and faculty. Faculty should ensure to address short comings in teaching and learning process and student feedback may be utilized positively for the teaching effectiveness and students’ satisfaction at higher education level.
