Predicting students’ performance is one of the most important topics for learning contexts such as schools and universities, since it helps to design effective mechanisms that improve academic results. Educational Institutions face numerous challenges today in providing quality and student-centric education to Students Individual learners prefer their own strategies originated from diverse learning styles. Learning style models may include collective strategies for mental, emotional, and physiological components. On the basis of such components, this piece of research suggests a specific quantified learning style preferred by learners in engineering education. By following average learners’ achievements (marks) at specific courses closely related to the specialization, interesting analytical results for Grade Point Average (GPA) evaluation are obtained. Moreover, an ANN model with supervised learning is presented to simulate diverse learning styles performance. Accordingly, optimal guided advise is suggested in fulfillment of probabilistically best GPA of graduated engineers. Obtained simulation results are well supported by the findings of experimental case study.

This essay studies how the portrayal of characters in “The Eve of St. Agnes” relates to gender issues from the views of feminism. In this long poem, the reinforced patriarchal ideology presented through Porphyro’s dominance – his “stratagem”, his “male gaze” and his “hunting”, and the undermined and even reversed patriarchal ideology presented through Porphyro’s passivity – his “being gazed” and Madeline’s “resistance”, intermingle with each other. As a result, “The Eve of St. Agnes” is an ideologically conflicted text in that it both strengthens and weakens patriarchal ideology, which is largely due to Keats’ gender ambivalence. Porphyro’s dominance and passivity are externalized display of Keats’ inner conflicts caused by gender ambivalence. Eventually, Keats ends this conflict by offering a solution: to reach an androgynous equilibrium between the two ends of his internal gender tension, transcending traditional gender determinations. It is concluded that this solution allows Keats’ two selves to get reconciled and liberated in his poetry.

Baijiu culture is an important part of traditional Chinese culture and plays an important role in inheriting and carrying forward the excellent culture. At present, there are a large number of documents on Baijiu/ Liquor culture, but only a few of them are related to a particular local culture. This research deeply explores the long history of Suqian Baijiu culture, aiming to sort out and translate the brewing process of Suqian Baijiu, etc., which helps to understand the rich connotation and enhance the relative intrinsic value of Suqian Baijiu culture. However, due to barriers of language and cultural background, there are often various irregularities and errors in translation from Chinese to English, which makes it even difficult for foreigners to understand unique liquor culture of China. The purposes of this research and related translation of Suqian Baijiu culture are to bring Suqian liquor to the international market and let more people feel the charm of Suqian local Baijiu culture.

A person's tolerance is influenced by many factors, be it the environment, family, habits etc. In the era of technological development 4.0, media and information technology has developed quite rapidly, which is thought to influence a person's social attitudes. The purpose of this study was to find out whether Instagram social media affects the tolerance attitude of SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta students. The method used in this study is a quantitative method, by examining the relationship between two variables using a statistical test assisted by the SPSS application. The results showed that there was an influence between the use of social media Instagram on the tolerance attitude of SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta students. Instagram had a 15.4% influence in determining student tolerance, while 84.6% was influenced by other variables not included in the research object.

Some drawbacks of traditional teacher-centred teaching have gradually become apparent and have led to a growing interest in experiential teaching. Students and teachers are prominent participants in the teaching process, and their behavioural performance largely determines the learning outcomes. Likewise, a harmonious teacher-student relationship is essential to students’ learning experience. In this paper, we have analysed the impact of experiential teaching on three aspects: student engagement, teacher-teaching innovation and teacher-student collaboration, to show that experiential has clear advantages for student learning. However, some argue that the design and practice of experiential teaching are challenging for teachers and that the student-centred approach is not conducive to managing classroom order. This, therefore, suggests new elements for teacher education and schoolteacher training to avoid the gap between instructional design and practice. And further research is needed by educational researchers on how to manage classroom order in experiential teaching and to make students learn effectively.

Multitudinous factors cause crime engagement to decrease. However, policymakers are paying increasing attention to education as the key strategy to combat crimes. Therefore, this essay argues that citizens with more educational experience are less likely to engage in illegal and criminal activities. In the form of a literature review, there are three claims proposed which supported by an abundance of relevant evidence. Firstly, education is conducive to employment, thereby reducing the crime rate. Secondly, education inhibits citizens’ desire to engage in delinquency. Thirdly, schools prevent young people from committing crimes. In addition, prior researchers also put forward a main counterargument that education may have a light risk of promoting crime. Combining these three claims and refutation, this essay concluded that more educational experience is beneficial to efforts to reduce engagement in illegal and criminal activities, but not absolute. Moreover, I also proposed some personal recommendations to policymakers and researchers.

Linguistic landscape is a new perspective to study the spread of regional culture. The Sichuan museum is an important platform to spread the Ba-Shu culture, and the presentation and translation of the linguistic landscape in it carries a wealth of historical and cultural information, which is of great significance in promoting the inheritance and communication of the Ba-Shu culture. Based on the theoretical framework of place semiotics, this study uses qualitative and quantitative methods to examine the linguistic landscape in the Sichuan museum.
