Management Operations Research is a professional core course integrating professionalism, practicability and comprehensiveness for engineering management majors, and it is also an important professional course for students of applied majors to acquire professional core competence. Taking the engineering management major as an example, this paper describes the current status of teaching reform construction, which is carried out from the aspects of teaching orientation and objectives, characteristics of teaching methods and teaching design, integration of course Civics and assessment mechanism. Finally, by comparing the final grades of the two classes of students before and after the reform, we analyze the effect of the reform, and analyze the current problems, and look forward to the continuous teaching reform of the course.

The ideological and political education of secondary vocational school students is of utmost importance, requiring not only scientific guidance from schools but also the active involvement of families. Currently, there are common issues in the process of school-home cooperation in secondary vocational schools, such as parents not prioritizing students’ learning, limited and superficial forms of cooperation, and communication barriers between families and schools. By analyzing the significance of school-home cooperation in the ideological and political education of secondary vocational school students, this paper provides strategic suggestions for implementing school-home cooperation in secondary vocational schools. These suggestions include promoting the correct concept of school-home cooperation, enhancing the guiding ability of family education, and establishing multiple channels for school-home cooperation. Through these efforts, a synergistic educational force can be formed to promote collaborative education between families and schools.

Influenced by the general background of campus football, the development of campus football in China is also gradually entering into a rapid development stage. According to the national monitoring data of college students’ physical health, the physical health of college students in China shows a declining trend. Based on the background of China’s vigorous development of school football, the improvement of college students’ physical health problems has encountered an unprecedented opportunity for development. The improvement of college students’ physical fitness cannot be separated from daily physical exercise, and the promotion of learning interest is the basic motivation for students to carry out physical exercise. This paper analyses the influencing factors of football learning interest in teaching public physical education in colleges and puts forward several suggestions in order to enhance the enthusiasm of college students in physical exercise.

COVID-19 created lots of distortions in the world. This study investigated effect of COVID-19 on academic performance among selected senior secondary school students from Ghana. WASSCE results from 2017/2018 through 2021/2022 academic sessions were considered to determine order in academic performance before, during and after COVID-19. Two research questions and hypotheses were stated, while a descriptive correlational survey was adopted, and convenience sampling technique employed to select needed sample for the study. WASSCE results of five (5) academic sessions were extracted for core subjects in senior high schools for pre-, during, and after COVID-19. Data used are standardized scores with reliability coefficients of 0.5, 0.6 and 0.7 respectively at p=0.01 (2-tailed). Data collected were analyzed using frequency and percentages. Results revealed that highest and lowest mean scores recorded occurred in 2017/2018 and 2021/2022 academic sessions respectively. Also, the relationship between academic performance after COVID-19 was established to be significant and stronger than the relationship between academic performance before COVID-19 which was weak but, not significant. Models introduced into the school system during COVID-19 should continue since academic performance in the core subjects is improving as desired by stakeholders in education.

This paper explores the impact of Tiger Parenting on the academic performance and mental health of high school students. First, we will define what Tiger Parenting is and how it fits into the conventional parenting style categories. Then, the research findings related to the development of the Tiger Parenting style will be discussed. The results were unexpected. Contrary to what the West portrays, Tiger Parenting is actually not an authoritarian parenting style. Moreover, it does not work with any family in non-Asian cultures due to cultural reasons.

Drawing inspiration from the life cycle theory, a four-stage lifecycle theory of degree programs with incubation period, growth period, development period, and differentiation period was proposed. Then, combining eight key tasks related to degree program construction, including degree program cultivation, application, special qualification evaluation, periodic qualification evaluation, discipline evaluation, level evaluation of professional degree, quality special inspection, and dynamic adjustment, this paper shoot the arrow at the target based on the main work and tasks of degree program construction at different stages.
