The main purpose of this study was to evaluate to what extent shock wave therapy (ESWT) can influence the quality of life of patients with scapular-humeral periarthritis (PSH). The study included 30 male and female PSH sufferers who had previously undergone various therapies without any success in disease progression. The VAS scale, the Roles-Maudsley score, and the Flanagan Life Quality Scale with seven points on the rating scale recommended by Andrews and Crandall were used to evaluate patient evolution. ESWT sessions were held on a seven-day session for 12 weeks. Between ESWT meetings each patient followed a home medical gymnastics program. Following the study, ESWT treatment had a good effect on the progression of PSH patients in terms of pain reduction and disappearance, as well as regaining mobility of the affected shoulder. The conclusion of this studio is that shock wave therapy can help improve the quality of life of PSH patients.

The physical activities corresponding to the practical disciplines – taught throughout the 3 years of study for the bachelor’s degree university cycle within the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports of Galați – consist of various elements of the general and specific motric capacity, in order to cope with the respective physical demands. The study performed by the students of the Ist year is aimed at identifying the evolution of thiscomplementary motric amplitude, as a result of the direct influence exercised by the 6 practical disciplines subject to study. The outcomes achieved – analysed and interpreted differently gender wise – identify the limited and sometimes insignificant progress of the main tests used in evaluating the flexibility of the lower body muscles, thus proving that there is not any representative building-up throughout the study performed, but only a linearity of the already existing level.

The aim of this study was to research the effect on biomotor skills of adding gymnastic work to training of children receiving ice-skating education. The mean age in the study was 5.1±0.8 years, a total of 18 children volunteered to participate. The experiment group had gymnastic training in addition to ice-skating training, while the control group only participated in ice-skating training. Before and after the study, the leg strength, explosive strength, balance and flexibility skills of sportspeople were observed. The results of the study found the experimental group had significant variation in long jump, flexibility, balance and vertical jump pretest and posttest measurements (89.5±19.6 cm-100.0±13.3 cm, 7.7±4.7 cm-10.2±3.6 cm, 15.6±5.2 times-10.7±5.7 times, 15.3±6.8 cm-21.8±6.4 cm, respectively), while the control group only showed significant change for flexibility performance. In light of these results, 8-week gymnastic training can be said to be an effective method to develop explosive strength and flexibility performance.

Within the school, the child is modeled under all aspects: physical, intellectual, moral, aesthetic, starting from the earliest ages, the school years being defining for his personality formation, now realizing his socialization and preparing for integration into the society. Therefore, the latest resources must be used in order to make the process of motor skills training optimal.(Colibaba-Evuleț, 2007). That is why I propose to study various aspects regarding the improvement of the distributive attention to the children of the third grade, so that we can draw important conclusions for the educational instructional process. The development of the schoolchildren should be carefully designed for all age groups but especially for schoolchildren, who are most likely to experience the positive effects of training in the direction of growth and development of the body.

The purpose of the research is represented by the improvement and the evaluation of the functional capacity aimed at the students from the economic and technical non-profile higher education, aged 19-22. We hypothesized that if a program which should include homogenous and continuous efforts is systematically applied, significant results can be obtained in improving the functional profile of the students. In this regard, 82 students from two universities participated in the research. In order to carry out the research we used methods of analysis and interpretation of the data obtained: the scientific documentation, the pedagogical observation, the statistical-mathematical method and the graphical method. The comparison of the results obtained in the final tests aimed to verify the efficiency of the training means proposed and applied in the experiment. From the analysis of the results obtained we notice that there are statistically significant differences regarding the functional capacity of the students.

An active lifestyle represents both a goal and a challenge for the people from the elderly category. The modern society is responsible for finding some optimal solutions for activating this category of the population, in view of the long term development of its potential and experience, as well as for avoiding social isolation physical activities – adapted to the specific requests and problems of this segment – may successfully contribute to optimizing the physical and mental tonus, thus enabling the improvement of the problems related to the general motricity, the body weight indicators or the functional values. The study performed on a group of students registered within the University of the Elderly of Galați emphasizes that, by the efficient selection and planning of several categories of physical exercises, the aimed results can be obtained, by aiming the specific parameters; moreover, certain limits of favourable influencing can be identified regarding other measured indicators.

This work shows the opinion on the specific training in physical activities in natural environment of the Teaching in Primary Education Students of the Faculty of Education (University of Zaragoza). 208 students were surveyed voluntarily during the 2019/20 academic year. They were students of the two subjects whose contents were object of the survey. The questionnaire used contained a 5-point likert scale. The students answered about the influence of these activities on the acquisition of personal, prosocial and training competencies. The highest scores in transversal competencies corresponded to student involvement (4.41 ±.744), teamwork (4.38 ±.758) and research on the practice itself (4.22 ±.761). Furthermore, respect (4.59 ±.638) and cooperation (4.56 ±.603) were the most valued personal competencies. These issues should serve to guide teachers to redirect a better methodology in their subjects. This work can be extrapolated to any university institution with specific teaching on physical activities in natural environment.

Adventure tourism developed during the 1970s and 1980s and attracted a wealthy clientele. Trekking combined quickly with ascent of low difficult summits, and the first specialized travel agencies are created. After the Alps, where the logistics of travel is easy to organize, other destinations, extra-European, are issued in tourism. During the 1990s, this market is booming and many agencies were created. It is in this context that the great summits of the continents have become tourist destinations: Mt-Blanc, Kilimanjaro, Aconcagua, Everest, etc. The study is based on the participation in four treks in Kilimanjaro from 2005 to 2019. It is a question of analyzing the management, by the agencies, of the relations between Western clienteles and the local workers, within the framework of an intercultural situation. It highlights how, during this period, the management of the tip issue evolved from the adventure field to the written formulation / formalization.

This paper intends to highlight the influence of physical training on the technical training on competition apparatus in 9-year-old gymnasts. In this sense, a study was organized in „Dinamo” School Sports Club of Bucharest, from September 2017 to May 2018, with a group of 4 gymnasts aged 9. Six fitness tests (indicators) were used for evaluating the physical training, four tests for the technical training on competition apparatus and eight tests – the score obtained in two national competitions on each apparatus. The research results indicate the physical and technical training level on the competition apparatus. The study also reveals the dynamics of learning and improving the technical elements according to the classification program and the performances achieved in two national competitions. The results of the correlative analysis highlight the connection between the physical and technical training indicators and the performances obtained in competitions.
