Performance comparison study of modulation in atmospheric laser communication system 大气激光通信系统调制性能比较研究

There were many ways of modulation in the laser communication system. In order to verify that PolSK modulation was the most suitable technology for space laser communication system, we analyzed the implementation principle of several signal modulation ways in this paper. By combing the theoretical analysis and software simulation, we make an analysis and comparative study through five aspects in the function of the PolSK modulation and the traditional modulation ways, including transmission rate in the unit, bandwidth requirements, transmission capacity, the average power utilization and error performance. The results indicated that PolSK modulation possess a higher transmission rate in the unit, a lower bandwidth requirements, and a larger transmission capacity. The most important thing was that PolSK modulation mode had a superior performance and a strong anti-air channel interference activity compared with the traditional modulation in a weak turbulence conditions. So PolSK modulation mode was suitable for laser communication system.

Simple LCD cell gap test system 简单的LCD电池间隙测试系统

From the first generation in 1991 to the current tenth generation, liquid crystal display (LCD) monitor capacity has been expanding rapidly. With its output value increasing intensely in recent years, LCD monitor manufacturing has become a landmark industry in the 21 century [1]. LCD as a complex manufacturing process, the liquid crystal cell gap and the measurement of the amount of liquid drops play a key role in affecting optical properties of the background color and response speed of LCD. So it is significant to measure the cell gap of liquid crystal. A simple and feasible approach to measure cell gap is illustrated in this paper, and the relevant testing equipment is set up. It' demonstrated to be validated and uniform detection.

With the advantages of small volume, light weight, high efficiency and long lifespan, diode laser has been widely applied to industrial processing. Presently, for laser used as processing light source needs to amount to dozens of KW per cm2 of power density, how to increase power output and get smaller light spot for diode laser becomes a key problem. It is introduced that by designing beam shaping by ourselves and making use of optical system for beam blooming and focusing, 808nm laser array composed of 20 bars eventually achieves the 1001.5w power output, coupling efficiency at 90%, 1×1mm2 of light spot through experiments, which enables diode laser to be directly applied to cladding, welding and so on.

Optical design and optimization of panoramic objective lens system 全景物镜系统的光学设计与优化

Panoramic camera's characteristics are large field of view, large field of depth, small volume, light weight and good seismic performance. It is widely used in aerial reconnaissance, topographic mapping and other fields. The ZEMAX software is used to research the panoramic camera lens. The lens system of the ordinary optical materials are discussed and analyzed. To explore the system structure with better image quality, the modulation transfer function of the lens system is adjusted, the radius of the surface, the thickness of lens and the air gap are optimized. The pros and cons of image quality are analyzed by the aberration curve.
全景相机具有视场大、景深大、体积小、重量轻、抗震性能好等特点。广泛应用于航空侦察、地形测绘等领域。利用ZEMAX软件对全景相机镜头进行了研究。对普通光学材料的透镜系统进行了讨论和分析。为了探索成像质量更好的系统结构,调整了透镜系统的调制传递函数,优化了表面半径、透镜厚度和气隙。利用像差曲线分析了图像质量的优劣。

The study of friendly nano-structured wall paint in the water dispersion environment 水分散环境下友好纳米结构墙体涂料的研究

In this paper, the polyester nano-emulsion of methacrylate modified from unsaturated fatty acid is prepared without emulsifiers by using molecular self-assembly polymerization technology. And the particle size of polymers (100nm) is measured by using the method of CENT. And make use of the nanometer polymer nano emulsion as film to form material development, normal temperature self crosslinking water dispersion, grinding of High Performance Waterborne block type nanostructural paint for exterior wall. The experimental results show that waterborne block type nano structure of exterior wall paint basically eliminates all the problems of the ordinary paint and nano powder filled modified paint, and the scrub resistance and other properties of this kind of friendly nano-structured wall paint in the water dispersion environment has greatly improved and can reach more than 10,000 times.

Technology research of fine tracking unit based on AOD for laser communication 基于AOD的激光通信精细跟踪单元技术研究

In the paper, we obtained that the response of the FSM on the order of kHz sinusoidal perturbation signal has serious distortion, in the case of increasing the frequency of the disturbance signal, and the phase delay of AOD response is only 1% for kHz sinusoidal perturbation signal in the fine tracking unit of free space laser communication through the analysis, modeling, simulation and a series of work. It shows that by using AOD replace traditional FSM in the precision tracking system, its bandwidth can be improved largely, then, it has a further suppression of the residual error and obtains a higher tracking accuracy.

Effects of ion barrier film on image noise in generation III image tube 离子阻挡膜对第三代显像管图像噪声的影响

In the third-generation image tube, the input surface of microchannel plate (MCP) is typically coated with an ultra-thin dielectric film, called the ion barrier film (IBF), to prevent ions generated in MCP during operation from migrating back to the photocathode and damaging the activation layer of photocathode, and prolong the operation lifetime. But IBF will serves as a scattering center for electron signal and reduce the signal-to-noise (SNR) of the image tube. In this paper, we present overviews of the IBF roles in third-generation image tubes, and the results of Monte-Carlo simulation on electron transmission through the Al2O3 dielectric film with varying electron energy and film thickness. We also calculated and analyzed the noise factors of Al2O3 IBF by Monte-Carlo simulation and the quantum noise model. A method of Temporal Domain Segmentation was proposed for statistical calculation. The results show the noise factor of IBF from quantum noise model is 1.07-1.28 at working voltage of 500-800V, and the one from Monte Carlo Simulation is 1.6-2.6.

Monitoring system of sewerage treatment based on wireless network 基于无线网络的污水处理监控系统

How to protect the fresh water sources is one of the principal problems in the human society, and obviously the industrial sewerage is the main pollution source. However, some water quality monitoring systems based on WSN have been done; we found that the traditional WSN nods have a disadvantage of short-distance communication among the nods, which limits the application in monitoring the industrial sewerage. In this paper, we describe a new monitoring system, which is based on the ZigBee network, the RF front circuit and the dynamic routing, in order to realize long-distance communication among the nods and real-time monitoring. This system described is general, extensible, self-organized and adaptive, with large area overlay and excellent compatibility.

Synthesis of ZnO nanoflower arrays on patterned sapphire by aqueous solutions 水溶液法合成图案蓝宝石上ZnO纳米花阵列

Patterned sapphire with frustum of a cone shape is designed to grow ZnO nanoflower arrays in this paper. The ZnO nanostructures are grown by two-step approach, including the synthesis of homo-seed layer and the growth of ZnO nanostructures in aqueous solutions at low temperature. The as-prepared samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM). ZnO nanostructures are grown along the upper base and sidewall region on the frustum of a cone shaped sapphire forming flower-like morphology as a whole. Micro-Raman spectrum shows the nanoflower arrays are under low tensile stress. Meanwhile, the ZnO nanoflower arrays grown on patterned sapphire show high photocatalytic activity. The large-scale periodical flower-like characteristics make them also potential applications in ultra-sensitive gas sensing, exciton based photonic devices.
