Bioconjugate Ag‧PE was obtained by the synthesis of silver nanoparticles in the phycoerythrin tunnel cavity without an exogenous reducing agent. Physicochemical properties of the conjugate and analysis of published data indicate that Ag‧PE can find application for diagnostics and therapy (theranostics) of cancer, as well as fluorescent biosensors and electrochemical biointerfaces.

Interactions of abiraterone and galeterone with steroid-metabolizing cytochrome P450 (CYP51A1) was studied. Binding of substrate type was observed, which indicates possible metabolism of abiraterone and galeterone by CYP51A1, however electrocatalytic reaction only towards abiraterone was observed.

The results of our simulations show that motile forms (as opposed to sedentary forms) have an advantage under nutrient-poor conditions corresponding to the environment in which marine bacteria live. There is a turning point in the magnitude of the migration penalty that determines whether the Nomadic strategy will be successful or not.

Various nanodispersions (liposomes and nanoemulsions) with lipoic acid (LA) with size of particles 50-250 nm were obtained and characterized by 80±10% encapsulation efficiency (EI) of LA into NPs, its slow release from nanoconstructions, and possessing stability during long-term storage at room temperature. It was revealed that liposomes and LA NPs inhibit platelet aggregation caused by arachidonic acid, and the mechanism of antiplatelet action was proposed.
