The objective of this research was to study the moderating effect of passion for service toward the relationship between burnout and intention to leave among the frontline employees who work in a hotel chains in Bangkok, the targeted population includes 63 hotel-chains in Bangkok, and 554 frontline employees contained suitable data and the moderated multiple regression analysis. The result indicates that passion for service performed the role to reduce the impact of emotional exhaustion and depersonalization on the intention to leave significantly. Based on these finding, the suggestion can be made that the recruiting and retaining the passionate frontline employees who have a passion to work, especially passion to provide service to customers need to be considered as the important factor to reduce the intention to leave which can eventually lead to reduce turnover rate.

This qualitative research is a case study that examines the perceptions of Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) of three lower secondary science teachers from Opportunity Expansion School in Chaiyaphum. Data was collected from teacher interviews, lesson plans, and classroom observations. Data was analyzed through content analysis and methodological triangulation was used to ensure the credibility of this research. The results reveal that most of the teachers perceived that their content knowledge was consistent with scientific concepts. However, they perceived that their technological pedagogical content knowledge was inconsistent with the TPACK framework. The teachers were more likely to use technology in their lectures which reflects that they could not use technology-specific content and pedagogy due to lacking knowledge how to integrate content, pedagogy, and technology. The findings from the present study could be used to design professional development programs to enhance technological pedagogical content knowledge for lower secondary science teachers in Opportunity Expansion Schools.

Although news reports about cannabis legalization in Thailand were constructed on medical cannabis, several discourses were found in cannabis legalization in traditional and new media. Consequently, the purpose of this research is to examine how English-language texts were linguistically constructed to support or oppose Thailand’s cannabis legalization found in newspaper reports and posts on social media. This study is a qualitative research employing Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) as the main theoretical framework in which texts were analyzed by using a linguistic analysis tool. The finding suggests that cannabis is constructed as an economic crop, a national property protected for only Thais, a patient benefit, traditional medicine, and a normal thing in pro-movement found in both Bangkok Post Newspaper and Highland Network Page which discourses are related to economic, social, cultural, political, and scientific dimensions. Furthermore, cannabis represented as traditional medicine is an outstanding discourse found in Thai context, which is rarely found in previous studies. However, Highland Network Page tends to provide the only positive side of cannabis and cannabis legalization. Although the negative implications of cannabis were mostly found in Bangkok Post, anti-movement contents were not explicitly reported. The construction of cannabis discourse also reveals the movement of social actors such as patients and activists campaigning against hegemony, farmers in the unfair economic system, healthcare system problems, and stigmatized cannabis users in Thailand.

The purposes of this study are to examine the relationship between student demographics and Math ability and English ability; to examine the relationship between student academic background and Math ability and English ability; to examine the relationship between Math ability and English ability and graduate academic performance using database of the international private university. This study collected data of graduates from the database of the international private university to test hypotheses with three sets of data; the first set was combined from four graduate batches (batches 44-47), the second set was one latest batch (batch 47), and the third set was sample taking 10% from total four batches. Data were analyzed with multiple regression analysis, independent sample t-test, and one-way ANOVA. The results found that student demographics (gender, age, and nationality), and their academic background (types of school, math skills in high school, and majors) determined their Math ability and English ability, except types of high school on Math ability. In addition, both Math and English abilities also influenced graduate performance.

The main objective of this study is to examine the moderating role of social capital on the relationship between knowledge-oriented leadership and knowledge management capability (KMC). Also, to explore the moderating role of creative organizational climate on the relationship between KMC and public organizational innovativeness is aimed. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was applied to analyze the survey data from 784 tax administrative organizations in Thailand to test the proposed hypotheses. The results presented that knowledge-oriented leadership positively influences KMC. Meanwhile, KMC positively affects public organizational innovativeness. For the moderating effect, the findings indicated that social capital positively moderates the relationship between knowledge-oriented leadership and KMC. Additionally, creative organizational climate positively moderates the relationship between the accumulation of knowledge stocks and organizational innovativeness. Surprisingly, creative organizational climate negatively moderates the relationship between the regulation of knowledge flows and organizational innovativeness. These empirical results provide some recommendations for executives of public organizations in recognizing how to appropriately play a leadership role for effective knowledge management. Simultaneously, they could support important internal factors such as social capital and creative organizational climate to enhance their knowledge management capability and organizational innovativeness.
