This paper presents a comparative analysis of transhumanist provisions and ideas manifested through fiction, particularly, in the novel by V.O. Pelevin “Transhumanism Inc”. The common points of convergence are revealed: the author’s interpretation of a number of transhumanistic ideas and possible variations of transhumanistic scenarios implemented in the novel by V.O. Pelevin. The paper concludes that the ideas of transhumanism are undoubtedly close to the postmodern literature, there is an ongoing popularization of transhumanism in the Russian literature, and there are some stereotypical emphases and fatigue in the writer’s vision of transhumanist perspectives.

Socio-cultural factors played a considerable role in the formation of Chechen pictorial art of the 1960s-80s. Its formation and development began with the people’s return from displacement and the restoration of statehood in 1957, which prompted an upsurge in all spheres of activity. The idea of socio-cultural imperative in conveying the existential experience of the artist-creator through artistic images is substantiated. Particular attention is paid to the national idea as a leading factor in the formation of statehood, the development of society and its humanitarian sphere. Methods of axiological, culturological, structural and functional analysis allowed us to draw conclusions about the compliance of paintings with the basic, objectively determined principles of reflecting objective reality in artistic form. It has been established that the paintings of Chechen painters contain a complex of various emotional and personal impressions and, at the same time, objectively determined principles of human social life.

The article deals with the attitude to the problem of gender in the first decades of the existence of the Soviet Republic – the position of the party (the Bolshevik project) and the utopian project of A. Bogdanov. Concepts have both similarities and differences. Both are based on the idea that it is possible to solve the problem only as a result of a change in the political system and the coming to power of the working masses and emphasizes the importance of labor and the principles of collectivism in the society being created. The project of A. Bogdanov is built on the basis of organizational theory, which is the basis of the society of the future, where social life is built on a strictly scientific basis. A special role is given to the organizational culture that forms a new person. The party position is based on the Marxist theory of gender and presupposes party control of all aspects of life, the subordination of personal interests to class interests, and the ideology of male superiority takes the form of constitutional or proclaimed equality.

The humanities are in a relentless search for optimal and more effective (compared to existing) research methods and strategies. The author of this article, as a research method, develops the general theoretical foundations of the cultural-philosophical model of a literary and artistic work, which can be used in the study of the creative heritage of various writers. The structural elements of the cultural-philosophical model of a literary and artistic work, along with the concept sphere of the corresponding literary and artistic work, include: the sum of humanitarian studies of a literary and artistic work, its main cultural and philosophical idea, genre, as well as a writer’s biography. Description of the concept sphere as an element of the cultural-philosophical model of a literary and artistic work is the purpose of this article. The basis of the research is formed by general scientific methods and interdisciplinary methods of scientific knowledge. In the course of working on the article, the author turned to cultural and philosophical analysis, as well as content analysis of scientific literature. Based on the results of the study, the author comes to the conclusion that one of the conditions for the productivity and completeness of the cultural-philosophical study of a literary and artistic work is the review and analysis of existing concepts. At the same time, the concept sphere is positioned as the most important means of interpreting literary and artistic works. The results of the study can be used not only in research of philosophical and cultural content, but also in works of a wide humanitarian profile, as well as in the educational process.

Purpose. This article explores and analyzes the first attempt in the history of Russian sociological thought to transfer the concept of “society of impressions” by G. Schulze, undertaken by the sociologist P. Aronson, to the sphere of personal relationships of individuals, and presented in the form of a mass popular scientific publication. In addition, the article examines the socio-cultural context of the modern information society, the so-called “experience economy” and the emerging practice of managing intersubjective relationships that develop in the remote access mode. Methodology. The author turns to the socio-philosophical and sociopsychological analysis of the emotionalization of modern culture. The article uses historical-philosophical and philosophical-anthropological methods for the analytical description of the transformation of personal relationships into economic constructs. Results. Particular attention is paid to the complexity of the genesis and definition of the essence of the interdisciplinary phenomenon of emotions in the comparability of various approaches already formed in the framework of psychology, sociology, and philosophy. The connection between individual prepositions of emotional syntax, and particular tactics of managing the process of establishing relationships is considered; mistakes are analyzed that lead to deformation of the links between the particular and the general due to wrong understanding or misunderstanding of the objective laws operating in this area. Practical implications. The results of the study can be applied in the field of cultural studies, philosophy of culture, psychology.

Purpose. The article is devoted to the analysis of the screen as a special socio-cultural phenomenon that produces simulacra and fakes in modern culture. The peculiarity lies in the fact that continuous reproduction of screen technologies is supported through simulations. At the same time, screen technologies are defined as the leading factor of modern socio-cultural changes affecting the consciousness and behavior of the subject of culture – a person. His dependence on the screen is being formed, and today we can talk about the emergence of a philosophical and anthropological type of “screen man”. Methodology. To consider the problem, the author turns to the socio-philosophical and anthropological analysis of the role of the screen in modern culture. The article uses comparative analysis, historical-philosophical and anthropological methods. Results. The results of the study are that the author explicates the essence of Hobbes’ maxim that man can fully know only what he himself can do. As such an artifact in the philosophy of T. Hobbes is the body, and the social-political body, established by the man himself. The author supposes that the modern European project “social physics” can be considered a prototype of active theoretical-epistemic model describing social reality. Practical implications. This allows, from the author’s point of view, to consider the role of the screen and the digital effects produced by it in modern culture, as well as to develop an integrative approach to understanding screen culture as a whole.

The purpose of this work is to substantiate the study of the modern city as a system, to determine the main directions of the study of the social processes of the city in the categorical and methodological scheme of epistemology. The rationale for the relevance of this approach is the increasing social differentiation in cities, the polarization of local communities. The city, as a key form of the social system in its subject and communicative space, creates objects and processes for citizens, but does not always give the opportunity to participate in this creation and express their attitude to it. Scientific production aimed at obtaining new reliable knowledge about the urban system, focused on the knowledge of social processes and phenomena, as well as the study of this knowledge itself, is the resource that would improve the quality of life of citizens and optimize their interaction with municipal structures, change their civic position. Research methods used in the work: comparatively-historical, phenomenological, structural, functional, as well as systematic approach. The results of the work are to determine those cognitive categories (problem, theory, fact, method) on which it is necessary to build a productive and reliable urban research, to identify the role of knowledge in the construction of urban phenomena, to characterize the “resistance of the studied object”. The article reveals the theoretical and methodological foundations of the study of volunteering in sociology in the aspects of social activity and social institution. Volunteerism is considered as an interdisciplinary concept, while attention is focused on the fact that sociology and its individual branches occupy a special place in the multidisciplinary study of volunteerism. The development of volunteerism in the context of social history is analyzed and periodization is determined, it is shown that volunteer activity is closely connected with the historical and social development of communities and states, as well as with the formation of civil society. Also, volunteering is analyzed through the prism of a social institution that forms a certain system of life values and attitudes that assume a unifying function, communicative, regulatory, the function of forming and consolidating social relations. It is concluded that the topic of the development of volunteerism is relevant in the global humanitarian sense and volunteerism can be considered as an element of civil society and a tool for strengthening public solidarity.
