ABSTRACTThis study aims to describe how the Website-based Tortor Hata Sopisik packaging. The theoretical foundation in this study is used as a basis for data collection consisting of learning theory, packaging, Tortor Hata Sopisik, audio-visual media and Website, which are used as a reference in the packaging of this research. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive method. The population is dance education study program students and informants who know the Toba Batak dance, especially Tortor Hata Sopisik, while the research sample is two students, one male and one female. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation, interviews, study of literature, documentation, and research instruments that use a questionnaire to test the feasibility of media experts and material experts and by means of observation, interviews, study of literature, documentation, and data analysis techniques. The results of this study are the Tortor Hata Sopisik. Packaging which is packaged into a form of Website-based audio visual media in accordance with the theory used. The packaging steps in this study use 3 stages, namely (1) Designing Phase (2) Production Phase (3) Testing Phase. At the design validation stage, this product involves 2 people validating material experts, and 2 people validating media experts. Scores obtained from validation and user trials get very good category with a detailed score of 4.6 from the material expert validation trial, a score of 4.37 from the media expert validation test. This learning video product is packaged into audio visual media then uploaded to the Website that is used by utilizing the internet network. ABSTRACT The results of the research based on the data obtained show that in the process of implementing the ceremony of rejecting the dance of Dakdeng dance present in the middle of the implementation becomes one of the important parts that must be carried out because the Dakdeng dance becomes a means of entry of supernatural spirits called Mambang which is the spirit of the ancestors of their descendents . Mambang's spirits entering the body of the family and community will dance during the process of rejecting reinforcements. There are differences in the movements and character of the Dakdeng dance between one dancer to the other. Because every Mambang who possesses the body of a family or a number of people who become dancers has a different character. Different character can be seen from Mambang Buaya who is angry when he feels disturbed, Mambang Knight is able to control emotions when there are other Mambang who unintentionally interfere, Blind Mambang has a sensitive mood, Mambang Leaders have a strict, hard and responsible nature, Mambang Penangis the loner and likes to cry, Mambang Macan is quiet and calm, Mambang Jelita is cheerful and encourages the other Mambang to dance, Mambang Galak is very angry when he sees the audience recording with his cellphone camera, Mambang Iba is gentle and a loner, Mambang Berdembah covers the genitals and is happy approaching with other Mambang spirits, Shy Mambang does not want to show his face in public and cover it with a scarf. ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the snowball throwing learning model in traditional dence material to increase the appreciation of students of calass VII SMP Negeri 1 Lubuk Barumun. The theory used in this study is the snowballthrowing theory by Miftahul Huda and the understanding of apreciation by Sunarto and Suherman. The research method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method by using the pretest-posttest design group that is eksperiments with one group or one class VII SMP Negeri 1 Lubuk Barumun amounting to 192 students, while the sampel in this study is class VII-1. Techniques for collecting data on observation , documentation, library research. The research instrument used was a list of question totaling 10 questions that had been tested for validation that would be used at the time of the pretest and posttest. Before the action is taken, the pretest test is conducted to determine the students initial abilities. The result of pretest data analysis showed that the average value abtained was 41,3 with a standard deviation of 22,258. After the snobwall throwing learning model was applied posttest. The results abtained are average student scores have increased to 87 with a standart deviation of 468,509. From the average result it can be seen that the increase in the percentage of the pretest to the posttest for students apreciation is an in crease 45,7%. T test is used to see the level of student appreciation from the results of the Ttest at the level ofabtained > that is (11,297 > 1,67115) then is rejected and is accepted. That is the result of student appreciation in the posttest after using the snowball throwing learning model. It can be councluded that the aplication of the model aplication of the snowball throwing learning model tor-tor naposo nauli bulung learning can increase the preciation of class students VII-1 SMP Negeri 1 Lubuk Barumun. ABSTRACTThis study aims to improve students' dancing ability by applying the Two Stay Two Stray learning model based on KD 4.1, which is to demonstrate dance moves based on concepts, techniques and procedures according to the count and beat. This study uses theories related to research topics such as the Two Stay Two Stray Learning Model by Aris Shoimin. The research method used is quantitative methods, data collection techniques carried out by observation, literature study and documentation. This type of research is pre-experimental pretest and posttest. The sample of this study consisted of 1 class, namely X-Mia class 1 SMA 3 Tanjungbalai. Class selection is done by purposive sampling. The instrument used in this study was the teacher observation sheet and student learning. The results of this study indicate an increase in students' dancing skills in the Tanjung Katung dance by conducting a pres test and post test assessment of dancing ability assessed from three aspects namely concepts, techniques and procedures. The pre-test results were obtained with an average value of 45.47 students using the lecture method, after which the Two Stay Two Stray Learning model was applied to 81.68 using the t-test these results indicate that there was a significant increase in students' dancing abilities with the learning model Two Stay Two Stray t> table is 18.17> 1.69 then the research hypothesis is accepted. ABSTRACT This study examines the semiotics contained in the Parsiarabu Tortor in Tomok Village, Samosir Regency. The purpose of this study is to explore the meaning contained in Tortor Parsiarabu and the interpretation of the meaning seen. To discuss the research objectives above, use theories related to the research. The theoretical foundation in this study uses the Semiotics theory of signs, markers and markers by Ferdinan De Saurrsure and the theory of forms concerning motion and clothing by Humardani. The semiotics contained in the Parsiarabu tortor are poured through the sign that is in the form of motion that is seen in the serving, the signer which is seen from the main range of motion in the Parsiarabu tortor, and the signfied is the meaning contained in the motion Parsiarabu tortor, it can be interpreted that the meaning of this whole dance is respecting God, respecting the high position or government, respecting fellow human beings, staying humble and not arrogant, respecting others, uniting the hearts of fellow people so that there is no envy and revenge . ABSTRACTThis study aims to describe the packaging of teaching materials on the material of Appreciation and Expression of the Tapa-tapa Dance through audio visual to be taught to students of class X of High Schools in North Sumatra. In addition, it describes the steps and results in making Tapa-tapa Dance packaging through audio visual to be taught to high school students in North Sumatra. The theories used are Setyosari's (2015) packaging theory, namely packaging steps which include planning, compilation, production, and evaluation. The theory of teaching materials Prastowo (2015) is a teaching material that is arranged systematically and used for the learning process in the form of audio visual. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method. The instrument used to test the feasibility of audio visual teaching material (VCD) is to use the Audio Visual Product Validation Test (VCD) questionnaire and the Material Validation Test Questionnaire, this questionnaire consists of aspects of assessment which are based on competency standards. This research resulted in an audio visual teaching material product VCD for Tapa-tapa dance material. Starting from (1) Planning by making teaching materials, selecting dancers, determining the location of taking photos and videos of products, and preparing facilities and infrastructure, (2) Preparation, where all teaching materials for KD 3 appreciation and KD 4 expressions covering background behind the Tapa-tapa dance, the Tapa-tapa dance function, the basic movements of the Tapa-tapa dance, cosmetology, fashion, musical instruments, tutorials and video performances of the Tapa-tapa dance performance that can be used as teaching material in dance learning, (3) Production is editing of images and sound results using Wondershare Filmore, (4) Evaluation, conducted by 2 validators for material validation and 1 validator for audio visual validation (VCD) by providing a validation questionnaire. In the validation stage, the results of validation by material experts with a score of 4.6 and validation by audio visual product (VCD) experts with a score of 4.4. From the score the product of teaching material in the form of audio visual (VCD) got a very good category applied to students of class X of High School in North Sumatra. ABSTRACKThis study aims to describe the Social Values contained in the Olang-Olang Dance in Dayun Village, Pembatu Dayun District, Siak Regency. The theoretical foundation used is Raven's social value in Setiawan (2017: 90) which explains social value consisting of four parts, namely tolerance, mutual cooperation, cooperation and deliberation as a reference in conducting this research. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method where the data obtained by the author are processed and analyzed carefully. Data collection techniques carried out by observation, interviews, study of literature and documentation. Observations made such as the Olang-Olang dance form, recording the results of interviews and conducting video and photo documentation. Continued to examine each of the social values that exist in the Olang-Olang dance in accordance with the theory used. the results of the preparation and analysis are compiled so as to produce a report in the form of writing or thesis. The results of this study are the social value of tolerance, mutual cooperation, cooperation and deliberation in the Olang-Olang dance. Tolerance in the Olang-Olang dance can be seen from the side of the motion of the opening and closing session. The Sakai Malay community believes that respect among human beings is done to establish unity, strengthen one another, and avoid division. The pattern used is the horizontal straight line pattern shows the relationship between humans, where in the Sakai Malay community has the view and belief that between fellow human beings should be considered equally without discrimination. ABSTRACTThis research aims to make learning tools for Malay Dance based on High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) for students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Tiram. This study uses theories related to topics such as packaging theory, learning, teaching materials in the form of textbooks and HOTS-based student worksheets. The main theory used in this thesis uses the theory of Andi Prastowo (2014: 17) which states that "Teaching materials are all materials (both information, tools, and texts) that are arranged systematically which displays a complete figure of competencies that will be mastered by students and used in the learning process with the aim of planning and analyzing learning implementation, and Widjajanti's theory (2008: 1) LKS is one of the learning resources that can be developed by the teacher as a facilitator in learning activities, LKS that are arranged can be designed and developed according to conditions and HOTS (Yuniar, et al: 2015) is a thinking ability that tests at a higher level, in the sense that students not only memorize and remember, but must be able to analyze, synthesize, and evaluate. This study uses a qualitative method. The object in this study is the Malay Dance learning tool based on High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). This research was conducted in May to August 2019, the data obtained were analyzed using qualitative data analysis. The location of this research was carried out in one of the schools in Batu Bara Regency, namely SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Tiram, located at Jl.Sekolah Sukamaju Village, Tanjung Tiram District, Batu Bara Regency, North Sumatra. The results of this study are in the form of teaching material products in the form of a Malay dance textbook (Dua Song Dance) and Malay Dance Student Worksheet (LKS Dance) in the subject of cultural arts (dance) related to Malay Dance material (Song Dance Two). The packaging of this learning tool was prepared by adjusting the syllabus and Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) for students of class VIII with basic competencies 3.1 understanding the uniqueness of traditional dance moves based on floor patterns using dance support elements. The preparation of this learning tool is designed as for the achievement of learning outcomes both cognitive, affective and psychomotor.Keywords: Learning tools, Malay dance, High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)

ABSTRACTThis study aims to describe the textual study of the Buku dance to Muslim communities in Lahewa District, North Nias Regency. The theories used in this study include the theory of textual form by Y Sumandiyo Hadi. To describe the dance of the book being studied in the form of; choreographic analysis consisting of (forms of motion, motion techniques and forces of motion), structural analysis (motives of motion) and symbolic analysis (meaning of motion). This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Descriptive aims to describe or elaborate textual studies on the Buku dance The method used in data collection is by means of observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. The results of the study said that the Buku dance is a traditional dance in the Muslim community in North Nias Lahewa which is shown at the Mamedadao night event, which is the art night when initiating. In terms of choreographic analysis consists of (1) for motion, form is a form as a result of dance elements, namely motion, which includes forms of motion based on energy, space and time. forms of motion that there are eight variations in the Buku dance, namely; mangowai, lafabuku, fafuta banahia, lahehea, lafangasa fafuta matonga gaolo ba afonu, lafali and fandroho. (2) Motion technique, a technique that means the whole process both physically and mentally that enables dancers to realize their aesthetics in a composition or choreographic, motion techniques that include hands, feet and body in the Buku dance, namely; saluting, bending, turning in place, swinging, dragging, turning half circle and full, wrapped around and closing. (3) the force of motion, the force in this understanding is more directed to the context of characteristics or patterns contained in the forms and techniques of motion, the motion force is more dominant towards the motion of silat which leads to the context of a characteristic. From the structural analysis of the Buku dance, verbally recorded there are 29 motifs, 29 phrases, 22 sentences, 10 clusters and 1 form. From the symbolic analysis side, it can be understood the meaning of its motion to signify unity, that every human being will always need others to help each other. (2) Motion technique, a technique that means the whole process both physically and mentally that enables dancers to realize their aesthetics in a composition or choreographic, motion techniques that include hands, feet and body in the Buku dance, namely; saluting, bending, turning in place, swinging, dragging, turning half circle and full, wrapped around and closing. (3) the force of motion, the force in this understanding is more directed to the context of characteristics or patterns contained in the forms and techniques of motion, the motion force is more dominant towards the motion of silat which leads to the context of a characteristic. From the structural analysis of the Buku dance, verbally recorded there are 29 motifs, 29 phrases, 22 sentences, 10 clusters and 1 form. From the symbolic analysis side, it can be understood the meaning of its motion to signify unity, that every human being will always need others to help each other.
