The diversity in higher education system calls for a reliable way to evaluate the health and sustainability of those systems. First of all, this paper quantifies the indicators to evaluate the health of the higher education system from three different dimensions: equity, resource access and cost-effectiveness. For the equity dimension, we designed public/private equity scores, gender equity scores and registration levels to capture different aspects of unfairness. At the same time, we use the entropy method to set the weight for each index and generate the weighted average score and equity score. In addition, we design the Wealth Equity Index (WEI) as a supplementary index. For the dimension of resource access, we use per capita accessibility index to capture the richness of higher education resources. For the cost-effective dimension, we first use a fixed-effect model to test the correlation between "output" and "input". Then we designed the average higher education output to weigh the benefits of higher education.

The traditional model of teacher professional development ignores the individual uniqueness of teachers and requires teachers to develop in the form of external instruction. While self-directed learning, which is characterized by autonomy, flexibility, universality, and development, can give full play to teachers’ initiative in process of their professional development. This paper starts from the status quo of teachers ‘professional development, summarizing the main characteristics of teachers’ self-directed professional development, pointing out the necessity and feasibility of teachers’ self-directed learning, summarizing the main factors affecting the self-directed learning of teachers. In order to effectively improve teachers’ self-directed learning ability, teachers must “want to learn, know how to learn, enjoy learning, and persist in learning” while external support must be “harmonious, diverse, timely, and efficient.”

This paper utilizes the method of typology to analyze and compare the structural forms of X-Neg-X positive-negative questions in VO and OV languages in ethnic minority languages in China. It is concluded that the positive-negative questions in VO and OV languages contain implicational universals and dominant word order, which roughly reflects the typological characteristics of positive-negative questions in ethnic minority languages in China.

Based on nursing specialty in our school as an example. This paper analysis the medical English teaching with the combination of curriculum education in English teaching, and put forward to perfect the medical ethics education course content system, the excavation of the English curriculum ideological elements, and strengthen the moral education function of English courses, and help in cultivating have higher cultural quality, moral character of medical workers. Medical English courses should be in the same direction as ideological and political courses, and ideological and political education should run through the whole course of English teaching, so as to realize whole-course education and all-round education. This study is an effective ideological and political exploration of integrating medical humanities into English teaching, which is conducive to cultivating medical students' humanistic quality and humanistic humane sentiments.

Looking around the world, the higher education system has both the value of industry itself and the value of providing well-trained citizens for the national economy. Therefore, the health status of a country's higher education system is of particular importance. We have seen higher education methods in various countries, which have both strengths and weaknesses. Each country needs to think about what is feasible and better in the education system. Therefore, this paper establishes a model that can evaluate the health of the country’s higher education system. Combined with some relevant data on education in recent years, we choose to use the amount of intellectual property rights, the proportion of public education in GDP, the number of universities, and higher education penetration rate and the number of international students as five indicators to assess the health of the education system. Then use the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to obtain the weight of the five indicators through Matlab, namely [0.3542 0.3542 0.1632 0.0800 0.0484], and then obtain the national higher education system score through a series of calculations. In addition, we have also conducted a consistency test to ensure the accuracy of the data.

The higher education system is an important factor in the promotion of the national econ- omy, so it is of great significance to evaluate the higher education system of a country or region. Next, our team will build a model to evaluate the health of higher education systems in some countries. We first determined 9 education-related indicators including international awards, and selected 11 countries including the United States and the United Kingdom for eval- uation. The entropy weight TOPSIS model was used to complete the preliminary evaluation, but the ranking results are far from reality. Therefore, we introduced a new index variation coefficient to improve our model. Finally, the TOPSIS method is used to evaluate the indicators again, and the results are close to reality and satisfactory.

For many years, the examination-oriented English examination has become the ultimate goal for most students to learn English, which challenges the use of immersion English in China. On this basis, I will use Phillips and Ochs’ framework which focused on analyzing the important factors affecting the educational policy reference in each stage, and formed a framework for analyzing the process of educational policy transfer. Therefore, I will focus on the origin, aim and expectation of immersion education in China. And then use the framework of four stages of educational borrowing a model to describe immersion education in China. Immersion education should meet the challenge of globalization, take the road of internationalization, and at the same time localize the educational methods.

Classroom leading-in is an important part of classroom teaching procedure. Successful classroom leading-in has a great influence on improving students' interest in learning and thus improving the effectiveness of English classroom teaching. This paper discusses the ways and functions of English classroom leading-in and the problems that should be paid attention to in order to improve the teaching level and ability of English teachers and achieve twice the result with half the effort.

With the widespread application of artificial intelligence and big data technology, the era of higher education informatization has come. Physical education is an important means of cultivating higher education talents, and information-based teaching methods should be in the forefront of the development of the times. However, the construction of a sports MOOCs platform is not an overnight effort, especially in the absence of sports information-based talents. This article uses literature research methods and logical deductive research methods to systematically analyze the many difficulties faced by the construction of the physical education MOOCs platform in the current actual construction of colleges and universities. The research proposes the organic combination of MOOCs and traditional physical education to improve teachers’ teaching abilities and strengthening of student’s supervision and assessment system are practical improvement strategies.

At present, the traditional curriculum system of the hotel management major takes professional technology and skill courses as the core courses to cultivate the basic knowledge and service skills of modern hotel operation and management, and possess the applied first-line professionals required by the modern hotel industry. However, the current research and practice of Innovative entrepreneurship education in higher vocational colleges are mostly concentrated in the respective fields of "entrepreneurship education" and "professional education", and there is a widespread phenomenon of alienation between Innovative entrepreneurship education and majors and disciplines. Zun follows the modern vocational education concept of "building morality, facing everyone, and lifelong education". According to the needs of the development of tourism and accommodation industry for compound and innovative talents and the needs of students' individual career development, the talent training objectives and curriculum system are dynamically adjusted. Therefore, it is necessary to innovate hotel management work in time, so as to make it occupy an important position in the increasingly competitive market environment. This paper mainly focuses on the reform of entrepreneurial talents training mode in higher vocational colleges. The goal of entrepreneurship education can be effectively realized only by the combination of learning and thinking, the unity of knowing and doing, and teaching students in accordance with their aptitude.
