L'ultime edition du Dictionnaire academique de l'Academie de la Langue Espagnole (DRAE-92) propose pour « canario » en acceptation 4. a « danse antique originaire des Canaries » et en 5. a « son correspondant a cette danse ». L'adjectif antique fait ressortir le fait qu'on ne trouve plus trace aujourd'hui de cette danse aux Canaries ni en dehors de l'archipel. A partir des sources litteraires, techniques, lexicographiques et historiographiques (chroniques de la conquete) faisant mention du « canario » l'A. tente de retracer l'origine et l'histoire de la diffusion de cette danse en Espagne et en Europe par le biais des esclaves originaires des iles des Canaries, danse qui connu un grand succes aux 16 e et 17 e siecles.

This is a edition of the autograph and unpublished •mojiganga• El antojo de la gallega , by Francisco de Castro. The Greak Turk is decapitated in a performance that appears as a variant of the beheading of Lent time, generally symbolized by a grotesque old woman. We also mention other throat cutting customs, that besides their ideological implications, are linked to the rituals of evil's destruction in the public square during holiday time.

Del folclor a la Literatura: Vida de Pedro Saputo 从民间传说到文学:佩德罗·萨普托的一生

In this paper I study the transformation of the folk character of the novel's hero in Vida de Pedro Saputo , known by his foolishness. I show as well the change and literary recreation performed by Braulio Foz in folktales inserted in the novel with one purpose: that the restoring and vindicating the hero. In my study of the process I have compared the folktales included in the novel with the previous different literary versions of Vida de Pedro Saputo , and the oral folktales diffused all over the Hispanic tradition.

This paper deals with a brief view of the domestic animals farmyard linked to family unites in the rural spanish culture. The enormous economic incidence, particularly of cocks and hens, within a selfprovisioning basis, has generated a rich anthropological reelaboration with expressions, proverbs, rites and beliefs to these fowls.

The aymara societes of the bolivian plateau make a link of culinary reciprocity with the protector beings of their geographical landscape. Both men and «gods» have to take care of each other to subsist; the aymaras feed their gods with the special complex offering they prefer: the mesa . By the other hand, the sobrenatural beings of the bolivian plateau protect the human beings and make their life confortable. The fanning production, the domestic animals fertility, the illness, and the adversity may be negotiated because of the culinary look the mesa presents. Each sacred guest prefers a kind of diferent mesa hecause of the articulation of the ingredients of the offering and the sensible attributes they present. The social characterization of these sensible atributes of the mesa and the quality of the animal foetus that compase each ofering constitute a metaphorical reflection of the complex society in which the aymara live nowadays.

At present it is hard to understand the different expressions of traditional culture if we don't take into account the fonnal semantic and functional aspects of folklorism, i.e. The use of folklore after the society has become aware of its existence. The world of traditional life is widely impregnated of forms and contents from the religious context and thereby this field is also object of the folldorist practice of our society. The analysis of these questions constitutes the essential part of this article.
