Incorporating Character Education in ELT through Islamic Teaching Materials 通过伊斯兰教材将素质教育融入英语教学

Among the effort to provide favorable circumstances for students to study English while becoming familiar with the concepts of character values that are commonly encountered in the content of Islamic teaching materials is the incorporation of character education into English language teaching. To determine how well students are doing academically and how well they comprehend the integrated character concepts included in Islamic teaching materials, accordingly, are the goals of the current study. At one of Islamic universities in Bogor, Indonesia, this study was undertaken in the English Education Program. This research employed quasi-experimental method, and the instruments used were a test and an interview. According to the research findings, after conducting four month learning class, there is an improvement in students' achievement between pre-test and post-test in experimental groups following treatment. It indicates that Islamic materials can contribute much more to students' achievements. Furthermore, the students' understandings of integrated character values are primarily concerned with some characters: religion, honesty, independence, curiosity, friendliness, and responsibility. Students not only comprehended, but could also implement the character qualities in actual life.

Implementation of Student Learning (4C) During The Covid-19 Pandemic Covid-19大流行期间学生学习的实施(4C)

Learning implemantation by providing 4C skills (Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaborative, and Creativity) is one of the responsibilities of 21st century education, namely creating a quality workforce to be able to compete in the 21st century. This study aims to analyze and find out how much influence online learning and the role of parents in the learning implemantation. The population in this study was 656 students of class XI and XII of SMAN 14 Tangerang City for the Academic Year 2021/2022. Sampling was carried out using the Simple Random Sampling technique with a sample size of 268 students. Data collection techniques using questionnaires or questionnaires and data analysis using descriptive statistical analysis and multiple linear analysis with the help of IMB SPSS Version 25.0. The results of the research and discussion are 1) partially online learning has a positive and significant effect on the learning implemantation as indicated by the tcount 6.966 > ttable 1.969311 or p-value 0.000 <0.05. 2) partially the role of parents has a positive and significant effect on the learning implemantation as indicated by the tcount 2.726 > ttable 1.969311 or p-value 0.007 <0.05. 3) Simultaneously online learning and the role of parents on the learning implemantation have a positive and significant effect, as indicated by a p-value of 0.000 <0.05

Pelaksanaan Evaluasi dan Pengembangan Kurikulum Pendidikan Islam di Pesantren Daar El Manshur Daar El Manshur伊斯兰教育课程课程实施评估与发展

The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the implementation of evaluation and development based on organizational and psychological principles of the curriculum at Daar El Manshur Islamic Boarding School. This study also aims to determine the trend of the model used in evaluating the curriculum at Daar El Manshur Islamic Boarding School. This study uses qualitative research methods with in-depth interviews with informants. This research was conducted at Daar El Manshur Islamic Boarding School, Depok City, West Java. The results of the analysis show that the Daar El Manshur Islamic Boarding School, which has only been established for 4 years, still has many limitations. However, the curriculum development team and teachers at the Daar El Manshur Islamic Boarding School continue to create syllabus, lesson plans, and teaching materials that can make it easier for students to learn and remain enthusiastic to get more knowledge about the Islamic education curriculum in order to instill Islamic character in students. The results of the analysis also show that the tendency of the model used in evaluating the curriculum at the Daar El Manshur Islamic Boarding School is a combination of formative and summative evaluation models.

Taxonomy Of Spiritual Quotient Learning Outcomes: an Insight From Tasawwuf Perspective 精神商学习成果的分类:来自Tasawwuf视角的洞察

The spiritual quotient (SQ) has a vital role in humans because it serves as the foundation of other intelligence. This study aims to present new insight on the taxonomy of the SQ learning outcomes for students, namely from the tasawwuf perspective. Using a qualitative meta-synthesis approach to explore various sources related to the taxonomy of the SQ learning outcomes through interpretative process, the study found that, in general, the SQ helps a person develop into a complete human being through the inclusion of the sense of worship in every action and thought. The taxonomy of the SQ learning outcomes includes the dimensions of taubat, wara’, zuhud, tawakal, zikr, khalwat, ikhlas, and ridla. If implemented in Islamic education, the said taxonomy will help students know their God, prioritize their conscience to solve problems in life and the learning activity, live life more meaningfully, and be motivated to benefit themselves and others in their learning process. Taken together, these findings strengthen the view that the spiritual quotient can make other intelligence function more optimally.

Student Search: The Study of Ethics Educational Leadership Management 学生搜索:伦理教育领导管理研究

Student Search is often interpreted as "looking for students", while in the context of management, the term means examination or search of students. The "legal umbrella" regarding the application of student search in educational institutions in Indonesia is still not specifically regulated by the government, especially the ministry of education and culture. This study aims to analyze student search from the ethical point of view of educational leadership management. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. The sources of data and study analysis materials are based on relevant scientific literature, including books, articles, proceedings (national/international), and final projects (thesis, thesis, or dissertation). The results of this study indicate that student search still leaves confusion (polemic) in its application because until now there has been no regulation from the relevant ministry or government that specifically addresses the ethics of examination of students. This is because the Criminal Procedure Code only regulates the procedures for searching the public in general (not specifically on students), as well as in the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 19 of 2007 concerning Education Management Standards which does not specifically contain the rules for student search. Furthermore, the regulation only concludes that school rules and regulations are entrusted to the principal with the consideration of the education board and school committee.

Intensifikasi Kecerdasan Emosional Anak Introvert Melalui Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Pada Pendidikan Dasar 基础教育合作学习模式强化内向儿童的情商

Kajian ini membuktikan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif, mampu meningkatkan kecerdasan emosi anak usia dini yang introvert. Peningkatan kecerdasan emosi anak introver melalui pembelajaran kooperatif di lakukan dengan pendekatan pembelajaran yang berpusat kepada siswa (student centre approach), strategi pembelajaran kolaboratif (collaborative strategy), metode diskusi kelompok, teknik bermain peran (role playing), mencairkan suasana (ice breaking), dan dengan taktik ceramah, keteladanan, serta kartu bergambar (flash card). Penelitian ini dilakukan di TK B, TK Islam Al-Azkar, Lebak Bulus Jakarta Selatan Provinsi DKI Jakarta, sejak bulan April 2020 sampai dengan bulan Oktober 2020. Sumber utama dalam tulisan ini adalah observasi lapangan dan dokumentasi tertulis berupa kurikulum dan perangkat pembelajaran. Selanjutnya dalam memperoleh sejumlah data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam (in depth interview) tak terstruktur yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan fieldwork dan metode content analyisis. Meski dalam operasionalisasinya peran guru sangat signifikan, tetapi tidak pihak lembaga pendidikan tidak menapikan peran orangtua dalam setiap aktivitas pembelajaran. Orangtua berfungsi sebagai education collaborator dalam implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif untuk memaksimalkan kecerdasan emosional anak introvert. Sebuah model pembelajaran yang mengedepankan kerjasama dalam dunia pendidikan.

The development of the times that cannot be separated from technology certainly demands the human ability to master the technology. The world of education is also not spared from these technological developments. In this case, of course, the teacher must also be qualified in mastering technology in order to be able to present interesting learning materials for students. However, problems also began to emerge, especially in children's interest in learning, which seemed stagnant. This is caused by several factors such as monotonous learning carried out by teachers who are not at peace with technological developments. This study aims to increase children's interest in learning by using pictorial media and power point. The research method used is quantitative research with purposive sampling technique. The results of the study are: children are interested in learning after using pictorial media on subjects at Madinatussalam School are very interested based on the results of the study, it can be proven by an average value of 28,85. with the number of respondents as many as 20 children. Based on the findings of the test data that has been carried out, it can be concluded that Ha (alternative hypothesis) is accepted, that is, there are differences in children's learning interest for those who use illustrated learning media than those who use power point media in learning.

The Concept of Personality and Its Relevance to Character Education in The Light of The Islamic Worldview 伊斯兰世界观视野下的人格概念及其与人格教育的关联

This study aims to describe the concept of personality and education in the Qur'an and its relevance to character education. This research is qualitative descriptive research through literature study and content analysis methods. The results show that the concept of personality in the Qur'an can be categorized in many forms, but can be categorized into five personal points with the spirit of mu'min, muṣliḥ, mujāhid, muta'āwin, and mutqin. The concept of character education in the Qur'an can be formulated in the form of a balanced remembrance and thought, consistently carrying out worship, leaving the bad, and carrying out all forms of goodness. The relevance of personality to character education can be seen from efforts to educate the soul to become a believer who has an attitude of faith above a straight faith, worships according to instructions, and has a noble character. As for the soul of a muṣliḥ, mujāhid, muta'āwin, and mutqin, it can be seen from the effort to continue learning to teach science, preaching by preventing the bad and inviting the good, as well as patience, cooperation (gotong royong), striving for the best (professionalism), of every trust given. The application of character education based on the personality of the Qur'an with the Islamic Worldview is an effort to view everything based on faith in Allah, faith in revelation, faith in the Prophet, and so on.

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of democratic leadership and organizational climate on teacher performance. This research used survey methods, while the research hypothesis testing utilized multiple regression tests. The research samples were 67 teachers in Aisyiyah Bustanul Atfal Kindergarten in Probolinggo. The results of this study indicates that there is a significant influence between democratic leadership and organizational climate on teacher performance. The coefficient of determination shows that 20.5% of teacher performance is determined by democratic leadership and organizational climate

Evaluasi Penggunaan Media Pembelajaran Dalam Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam 评估实地体验学习计划中的媒体使用学习伊斯兰教育

Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) Mengevaluasi kesiapan mahasiswa calon guru mata pelajaran pendidikan agama Islam dan budi pekerti dalam melaksanakan praktik mengajar; (2) Menganalisis hasil penilaian siswa terhadap kemampuan mahasiswa calon guru mata pelajaran pendidikan agama Islam dan budi pekerti dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran pada saat praktik mengajar, yang meliputi: (a) kualitas isi dan tujuan, (b) kualitas pembelajaran, dan (c) kualitas teknis; (3) Menganalisis hasil penilaian guru pamong terhadap kemampuan mahasiswa calon guru mata pelajaran pendidikan agama Islam dan budi pekerti dalam memanfaatkan media pembelajaran yang digunakan pada saat praktik mengajar. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data observasi partisipasi pasif;  metode wawancara terstruktur; dan  metode dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini sebagai berikut: (1) Kesiapan mahasiswa calon guru untuk melaksanakan praktik mengajar mata pelajaran pendidikan agama Islam dan budi pekerti ketika dinyatakan telah lulus beberapa mata kuliah yang berhubungan langsung dengan kegiatan praktik pengalaman lapangan; (2)  Mahasiswa calon guru mata pelajaran pendidikan agama Islam dan budi pekerti selama praktik mengajar mampu menggunakan berbagai jenis media pembelajaran secara bervariasi, sehingga memenuhi kriteria evaluasi media pembelajaran dari segi kualitas isi dan tujuan, kualitas pembelajaran, dan kualitas teknis, serta menunjukkan kemampuan keterampilan menggunakan media pembelajaran secara lancar, tepat dan efisien; dan (3) Mahasiswa calon guru mata pelajaran pendidikan agama Islam dan budi pekerti memiliki kemampuan memanfaatkan media pembelajaran secara bervariasi dalam praktik mengajar.
