Good environment will affect students' learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze how students' interest in learning and critical thinking skills can be influenced by students' pro-environmental behavior, because a. This study uses a survey technique. In this study, a sample of 50 students was used which was divided into two classes. Analysis of the data used is a simple regression test. After the implementation of this research, it is known that students' responses to PEB-based learning have a significant effect on learning interest and students' critical thinking skills in learning environmental materials. This is evidenced by the t-count value which is greater than the t-table, as well as a lower significance value compared to the tolerance limit value used of 0.05. The novelty in this research is in the material being measured or tested and the number of variables used. Where in the previous study only used one of the three variables that I studied, and had not researched pro-environment. The limitations of this study are limited to knowing the effect of student responses to pro-environmental behavior-based learning (PEB) on interest in learning and student learning outcomes in environmental material learning, not yet on skills or psychomotor aspects. Therefore, it is recommended for further researchers to be able to add aspects that have not been studied in this study to make it more perfect.

Students' mastery of science process skills is still low, as illustrated in several studies caused by the use of inappropriate learning methods so that students do not understand the skills of applying science processes optimally. Therefore, educators need to use an approach that is able to train the mastery of science process skills. One approach that applies scientific work principles is the STEM approach. The integration of the STEM approach in learning can support mastery of science process skills. This study aims to develop the STEM-based modules on ecosystem material in order to improve students' science process skills. The development research (R&D) method in this study uses 4D models. A module validity test is used to evaluate the developed module, which is measured using an instrument in the form of a validation questionnaire from media and material experts. Data analysis techniques use quantitative methods, namely calculating the percentage value of the Likert scale. The module is very valid, according to the testing of two expert validators, with sequential validity percentages of 97% and 98%. The results of the practicability test for educator and student responses are 81% and 93.71%, respectively, indicating that the module is very practical. The analysis of the effectiveness test of the module obtained an N-gain score of 0.76 with high criteria or it was said that science process skills increased. Thus, the developed STEM-based ecosystem module is valid, practical and effective, and makes it easy to understand ecosystem material, increases sensitivity to solving environmental problems and becomes an effort to improve students' science process skills.

In today's world, where globalization is rapidly increasing, critical thinking, rationality, and tolerance are essential for personal and interpersonal well-being. The study aims to analyze the impact of teaching methods, self-concept, and assessment on students' higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) in economics in senior high school (SHS). The research subjects involved 220 economics students from three SHS. The study used a quantitative survey method with the use of a designed questionnaire and used ordinal logistic regression to find the correlations between variables. The findings suggest that teaching methods, self-concepts, and assessment have a significant impact on students' understanding of economics subjects by promoting higher-order thinking skills. To improve Ghana's educational system and meet the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030, the study also underlines the necessity of HOTS-oriented assessment in classroom instruction. Therefore, the study recommends the use of various instructional strategies, such as open-ended questions and practical problem-solving tasks that encourage students to manipulate unfamiliar or novel situations, rather than relying on recall or restatement of previously taught material. The implication of this study is that curriculum developers should take into consideration a well-structured question in the curriculum that will elicit students' high-order thinking skills.

This study aims to investigate the impact of mastery goal orientation (MGO) and self-directed learning (SDL) on academic performance via academic self-efficacy (ASE). As a learning medium, computer-based training (CBT) attempts to boost student confidence. The study used a quantitative approach, with 142 merchant marine school students serving as participants. The questionnaire was used as a research tool to collect data. To assess and measure variable relationships, research data was examined using structural equation modeling. According to the findings of the study, MGO and SDL have a direct impact on ASE and academic achievement. The study revealed that ASE mediated MGO and SDL in relation to academic achievement. Individual ambition to acquire information and competence results in ASE, which indicated students' confidence. CBT allows students to broaden their learning interests. SDL and CBT complement each other in a mutually beneficial way. CBT is a learning tool; nevertheless, without SDL, it will be ineffective in improving academic achievement. SDL without CBT is less effective since students are unable to explore a broader range of information and expertise. When students use CBT as a learning medium, they frequently study and practice, gaining more knowledge and expertise. CBT is thought to be an effective learning medium for increasing student academic confidence and performance.

As a learning medium, computer-based training (CBT) attempts to boost student confidence. The study used a quantitative approach, with 142 merchant marine school students serving as participants. The questionnaire was used as a research tool to collect data. To assess and measure variable relationships, research data was examined using structural equation modeling. According to the findings of the study, MGO and SDL have a direct impact on ASE and academic achievement. The study revealed that ASE mediated MGO and SDL in relation to academic achievement. Individual ambition to acquire information and competence results in ASE, which indicated students' confidence. CBT allows students to broaden their learning interests. SDL and CBT complement each other in a mutually beneficial way. CBT is a learning tool; nevertheless, without SDL, it will be ineffective in improving academic achievement. SDL without CBT is less effective since students are unable to explore a broader range of information and expertise. When students use CBT as a learning medium, they frequently study and practice, gaining more knowledge and expertise. CBT is thought to be an effective learning medium for increasing student academic confidence and performance.","PeriodicalId":32441,"journal":{"name":"Edukasi Jurnal Pendidikan dan Pengajaran","volume":"51 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79809646","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
