The COVID-19 pandemic has exposed tourism villages to various challenges. Tourism villages as a form of rural tourism which are managed by local people face more serious problems due to their lack of expertise. This study aims to apply customer-driven strategies in formulating strategies to market tourism villages. Employing marketing concepts of service quality, satisfaction, and revisit intention, this research investigates the mediating role of satisfaction in the relationship between service quality and revisit intention. Tourist perceptions are further analyzed based on their demographic and psychographic characteristics to provide insights into the formulation of segmentation strategies. This research collects data from 203 people who have visited tourism villages. Data were collected offline and online using Google Forms. Results of Regression Analysis with Mediation and Bonferonni's Multiple Comparison indicated that Reliability, Empathy, and Tangibles have a positive effect on satisfaction. Further, satisfaction fully mediates the effect of Reliability and Empathy on revisit intention. Meanwhile, satisfaction partially mediates the effect of Responsiveness and Tangibles on revisit intention.

The development of information and communication technology, which has now entered the industrial revolution 4.0, has received a new challenge, namely society 5.0 as conveyed by Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in 2017, which is to combine all aspects of people's lives in the development of digital technology intelligence. The COVID-19 pandemic is a momentum for disruption and changes in people's lifestyles on a larger scale towards a digital society. Leadership is one of the factors that will encourage or hinder the implementation of the digital transformation of society 5.0, including in terms of increasing the capacity of MSMEs in Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative research method, namely by making direct observations and using a question form.

Investment is one of the economic drivers in various countries, because investment will be able to have a very significant impact on economic development. Therefore, this investment growth has special attention in various regions to support the smooth development of investment. Therefore, investment services, especially in licensing development, have changed dynamically in line with global economic developments. This situation requires innovation in investment and licensing processes to improve the investment climate. Handling efforts can be carried out in various ways such as human resource development or organizational management aimed at facilitating services for the business community. Based on the newest phenomena and facts supported by data, the problems were analyzed using qualitative method approaches and descriptive analysis methods. Thus, a descriptive analysis method is applied to find facts by accurately interpreting and describing the group and individual characteristics of the phenomena found from the results of this study. The results of this research showed that the bureaucratic path in completing licensing was very long and had an impact on the increasingly expensive licensing fees, so that this will not support the objectives of investment policies in the region. It can be concluded that the problem lies in the institutional aspect of the agency that handles licensing and investment issues that exist in each region which are still weak in formal and informal regulations and their enforcement, so that the implementation of policies on investment is still very difficult to be implemented, or bad implementation. The implementated of law enforcement both formal and informal, one of them is supported by the synergy between policy actors and harmonization of communication among organizations because this will have an impact on making licensing easily for investment to cut long bureaucratic paths as well as expensive costs

Sustainable development is one of the topical issues posing a global challenge to the business world. To remain successful in today's competitive business environment, Small and Medium-Scale Enterprises (SMEs) must find a way to exist by adapting to dynamic sustainability challenges. The study aimed to examine Hawley’s Risk Theory of Profit's underpinning role in explaining the connection between Risk Intelligence (RI) and SMEs’ sustainability (SUS). It was understood that risk could pose both opportunities and threats to business, and therefore, proactive detection is paramount to address the risk capable of ridiculing sustainability. Therefore, we proposed integrating the moderating role of financial performance in the relationship between Nigerian SMEs' risk intelligence and sustainability. The study found Hawley’s theory relevant to risk and sustainability tradeoff. Previous studies proxied risk intelligence by knowledge management, financial literacy, and risk-taking propensity, which paved the way for developing a framework for attaining sustainable SMEs in Nigeria. We concluded that SME’s sustainability could be ensured by effectively managing inherent risks and should be incorporated into Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) systems.

Hotel XY Semarang is a star hotel that provides various services and facilities, so it is necessary to increase cost efficiency without reducing the value provided to customers. This study aims to analyze the cost efficiency of activities by applying the Activity-Based Management method using accurate cost information to reduce non-value-added activities. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. The data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. This study first calculated the room rental cost using Activity-Based Costing, then calculated the value of cost efficiency with the Activity-Based Management method and tested the hypothesis to determine whether there is a significant difference after the implementation of Activity Based Management. The results showed that Hotel XY Semarang still calculates room rental costs using the traditional method. After implementing the Activity Based Costing method, the results show the difference in under costing in the President Suite room types and over costing in the Deluxe Room, Junior Suite, and Executive Suite room types. The implementation of Activity Based Management can reduce costs by Rp. 734.526.570 or increase cost efficiency by 7.91% of the total cost of Rp. 9.287.146.443.
