This phase of the RBL that student learning can be applied; formulating a general question; overviewing of research-literature; defining the question; planning activities, clarifying research methods/methodologies; undertaking investigation, analyzing data; interpretation and consideration of results; reporting and presenting the results. The results of the research indicated that the implementation RBL can improve problem solving skills. It is proved by the fact that the students were able to show their ability of problem identification, representation, election strategy, implementation and evaluation. This research were used to make more sure the previous research that implemented the RBL can improve the quality learning process and provides a different learning experience which can improve the problem solving skill. In education, sustainable development (SD) targets and indicators have been clearly stated in SDG4. Malaysia’s commitment to promoting SD is evident from the integration of SD indicators in the national policy frameworks, including the National Education Blueprints since the 1970s. This paper discusses several government policies, programs, and projects on SD, particularly in education. It also discusses the evaluation of the country’s success in meeting the SDG4 targets and indicators, challenges and constraints in the implementation, and opportunities for the future. The author also suggests that data collected for various educational projects such as World Education Indicators (WEI) project and Quick Facts for instance be used for the calculation of enrolment and participation rates, pupil-teacher ratios, teacher salaries, teacher qualifications, educational attainment, and education expenditures, while the national census data and national exams data be used to estimate the achievement of the students alongside the international studies such as TIMSS, PISA, and TALIS for international comparisons of students’ achievement. T Curriculum as a tool to achieve educational goals used as teacher guidance in implementing learning. The implementation of the 2013 Curriculum that has been enacted needs to be developed to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. Development of Curriculum 2013 that is relevant to the development of our time and the technological advancement as an effort to improve the quality of education in Indonesia is still relatively low. The development of the Curriculum 2013 requires the support of all schools and communities to realize the goal of applying the Curriculum 2013 to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. The research method is the descriptive qualitative method based on Library research, so this research describes the results of many re-analyzed researches. The findings of this research include (1) curriculum development 2013 answering internal challenges that refer to eight National Education Standards which include content standards, process standards, graduate competency standards, educator standards and education personnel, equipment and infrastructure standards, management standards, financing standards, and educational assessment standards (2) The development of Curriculum 2013 greatly utilizes technological progress as a mean of education that is relevant to the development of the times, and (3) The effectiveness or success of applying the Curriculum 2013 is determined by the management factor at school and the class level. This study was conducted based on the teacher's need for learning media to train students' speaking skills. Based on a survey conducted in a public elementary school in Bantul area, Yogyakarta, speaking skills become the standard of graduation that must be mastered by students and are very important for further study. Unfortunately, many students still think that public speaking is frightening. The purpose of this paper is to see the effectiveness of Pelajar Go!, a board gamebased learning medium, on students' speaking skills, with pre-test and post-test control group design and experimental group selection based on random sampling, Kolmogrov-Smirnov test, Levene’s test, and analysis of variance (t-test). The results show that learning using Pelajar Go! is more effective to improve students' speaking skills than using conventional media. There are significant differences in terms of task achievement and communication skills (0.006), speech clarity and naturalness (0.015), grammar (0.006), and vocabulary (0.003). This medium works well to help students participating in a discussion, motivate students to learn because of the interesting forms and content, encourage students to convey their ideas, and provide fun and exciting ways to practice their skills. Teaching English in primary schools relates to the readiness of the schools and the students’ proficiency levels. If the schools have the sufficiency of English teachers, media, and textbooks, they will be ready to teach English. It is because primary schools deal with young learners aged 6-12 years and this period is believed as the best moment to gain knowledge. It is in line with the basic principle stating that young learners can learn English better [11]. Teaching English in primary schools provides both benefits and challenges. The benefits are reported by Moon [16], Singleton [10], and Read [18], and the problems are pointed by Copland, et al. [9], Khamari et al. [8], and Wei-pei [7]. Regarding the issue, this article identifies the benefits and challenges based on theories and research findings and then proposes several solutions of the difficulties which can be the references for the schools to provide high-quality English teaching and learning. Democratic character is one of the important virtues to be internalized since an early age. Unfortunately, a couple of issues is still facing the efforts to get elementary school students internalized such as character which cannot be developed optimally among students. This research aims to determine the effect of the use of the reflective picture storybook media on improving the democratic character of fifth-graders at elementary schools in Bantul Sub-district that adopted the 2013 Curriculum. The research employed a quasiexperimental method with a pretest-posttest nonequivalent group design. The sample consisted of fifth-graders at elementary schools SD Bantul Timur and SD 1 Bantul. Data were collected using a scale with good validity and reliability. The data were analyzed using ttest with a significance level of 0.05. Analysis results showed that the use of reflective picture storybook media had a greater effect on the democratic character of the students than when using media in form of textbooks with a t-value of 4.691 (sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 < α = 0.05). Through the use of the reflective picture storybook media, students can reflect on how to internalize the democratic character in everyday life. The research aims to investigate the adolescents’ psychological well-being and gratitude. The research type is a quantitative study with a survey method. The research subjects are adolescents aged 17-21 years old comprising 13 males and 41 females. The psychological wellbeing and gratitude are measured with a scale. The instrument test items are evaluated from the correlation of total items with the product moment formula. Psychological well-being variable has 26 valid and 10 invalid statement items with the reliability value of 0.877. Meanwhile, the gratitude variable has 19 valid and 1 invalid statement items with the reliability of 0.892. The research data are analyzed using a percentage descriptive technique. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the adolescents’ psychological well-being is classified into the high category, while the gratitude is classified into the very high category. Due to the psychological well-being aspects, the highest percentage belongs to Purpose in Life (understanding the purpose of life). Meanwhile, the highest percentage in gratitude aspects belongs to Thank God (expressing gratitude to God). Keyword—psychological well-being, gratitude,
