Forests are an important segment of the country's economy, which is seriously suffering due to active military operations. The shelling caused many fires, some of which started in the "emerald belt" – nature conservation areas. In addition, a large number of destroyed forests were artificially planted, which eliminates the possibility of their natural restoration. At the same time, wood remains important for exports that support our country's economy in this difficult time, and a resource for construction materials that will be needed in huge quantities to rebuild the destroyed infrastructure. This is what determines the need for the fastest possible improvement of the state system of regulation of the forest sector, taking into account modern challenges and needs, as well as the European integration processes that are actively taking place in the country. The content of the modern regulation system of the forestry sector is revealed in the article. The main problems of the functioning of the system of regulating the activities of forest sector entities operating in Ukraine are highlighted. The experience of European countries regarding the reform of the forest management system is considered and the expediency of its implementation in domestic practice is substantiated. To reveal the research topic, a thorough analysis of Ukrainian and foreign scientific, legislative and journalistic sources was carried out. This made it possible to come to the conclusion that in order to improve the functioning of the domestic forest sector, it is necessary to: to diversify the methods and tools of fiscal and credit stimulation of business in the forest sector; use innovative methods and technologies in the management of forestry and woodworking business; apply the tools of preferential taxation in the case of implementation of projects to increase the level of utilization of non-liquid wood, sawn residues, lumpy waste, sawdust and shavings; to stimulate the production of biofuel based on the processing of wood waste; carry out a comprehensive review of laws and by-laws regulating forest relations, with the aim of bringing them into line with the legislative framework of the European Union; use benchmarking, factoring and fundraising technologies. These conclusions were obtained as a result of the analysis of the Ukrainian experience of reforming the system of state regulation of the forest sector and potential directions for its further transformation into the conditions of European integration and reconstruction of Ukraine.

In recent decades, there has been a noticeable increase in the prominence of writers who possess complex cultural orientations or participate in transnational exchanges. These authors reject the formerly narrow and restrictive identitarian labels, such as (im)migrant, colonial, postcolonial, ethnic, Commonwealth, or minority writers. They can no longer be confined to a single national framework, as they transcend such limitations. Transcultural writers have developed a transcultural sensibility. This sensibility is expressed through their writing, which encompasses impalpable elements such as sensitivities, imaginaries, and outlooks that cannot be measured or quantified. However, these elements are discernible through the author's choice of themes, characters, voice, setting, and the use of dialogue, plot construction, or language. Writers who explore beyond their native cultures or homelands tend to resist conventional classifications. Their intricate and fluid nature defies attempts to categorize them, even with the most sophisticated methods, as their works seem to evade definition and elude any attempt to fit them into a particular category or box. Luis Alberto Urrea’s The House of Broken Angels explores various complexities of identities. Particularly of Mexican-Americans who are often caught between two cultures. The characters in the novel struggle to find a sense of belonging in either Mexican or American culture. They often feel like they are not fully accepted in either culture and must navigate the complexities of being in between. The main character Big Angel was born in Mexico but has lived in the United States for most of his life. As the plot evolves, he struggles to reconcile his Mexican heritage with his American identity. The novel also discloses the complexities of family identity. The characters in the novel are part of a large, extended family, and their identity is deeply tied to their family history and traditions. The importance of family in Mexican culture and how it serves as a source of comfort and support for the characters is one of the main themes. To conclude, we can argue that "The House of Broken Angels" explores various identities, including those of the Mexican-American, the immigrant, the family member, and the aging. The novel portrays the complexities of identity and the challenges faced by those who are caught between two cultures or who are marginalized in society.

The article touches upon the issue of integration of foreigners into another language and cultural environment on the example of Ukrainians who come to Italy for work. The theoretical basis of the article is works by Ukrainian and foreign scholars on linguistic and culture studies, psycholinguistics, psychology, methods of acquiring a foreign language, translation studies. Besides, the focus has been upon close interrelation between the knowledge of a foreign language and the ability to understand and adapt to a new culture and mentality. On the basis of the modern relevant theories the process of learning a foreign language is compared with acquisition of a native language by a child. The practical basis of the article is the author’s observations of the process of interlanguage and intercultural communication between Italians and Ukrainians in different everyday situations and the quality of acquisition of the Italian language and culture by the latter. In this research the everyday communicative situations include family and interpersonal relations, the spheres of cooking and housekeeping, the attitude to religion and work. With the help of illustrative examples from real communication the article highlights a certain similarity between Italian and Ukrainian characters and world perception, and the absence of considerable differences between the Italian and Ukrainian language systems, which facilitates a fast integration of Ukrainians into the Italian language and cultural space. Also, for illustration, we have highlighted phonetic, lexical, and grammar parallels between the Italian and Ukrainian languages. Ukrainians who have lived in Italy for quite a long time are fluent enough in the Italian language. However, if they do not approach studying of the language professionally their speech lacks grammatical correctness and vocabulary diversity. Hence, we have made conclusion that just staying in a foreign environment is not sufficient for a high-standard command of a language. For this purpose, one needs to make corresponding strong-willed efforts and to apply the language on all the levels of communication. At the end of the article we have singled out a range of issues for further research and development of the aforementioned topic.

The article is devoted to the topic of emigration in modern Ukrainian literature. It is noted that its various variants - motives for departure, actions, deeds, psychology of migrants, their achievements and illusions were artistically interpreted in the latest Ukrainian prose, most often in the novel genre (the works of Irene Rozdobudko "Morning cleaner", 2004, "I know, what do you know, what I know", 2011, V. Eshkilieva "Paphos", 2002, Natalka Doliak "Gastarbaiterka", 2012, Natalky Snyadanko "Frau Müller is not ready to pay more", Irena Karpa "Good news from the Aral Sea", 2019, A. Chapaia "We have arrived”, 2015, Olga Slonivska "Lost in Time", 2018, as well as the British writer of Ukrainian origin, Maryna Levytska "Two vans", 2008, "A short history of tractors in Ukrainian", 2013, and others). Similar topics and issues are raised by Tanya Malyarchuk in another genre format - in the story "Frogs in the Sea" (2019), written in German and awarded the Austrian Ingeborg Bachmann Literary Prize. For this, the author chooses a "plot of external displacement" (Olena Romanenko), focusing on the fate of two lonely, abandoned people from different worlds - a Ukrainian emigrant Petro and an aristocratic Viennese Frau. In the development of the plot, the writer combines external (life without a passport in a foreign country, violation of the law, constant desire to be unnoticed, to do the dirtiest work) and internal (reflections on one's own life) conflicts, focuses on the loss of the usual coordinate system by the main character - not only in a foreign country, but also in the homeland, where no one is waiting for him - neither his mother nor his lover. Therefore, with the help of the symbol that was included in the title of the work (frogs in the sea), intertextual elements (allusions to the image of smoke in the poetry of Lesya Ukrainka, the images of Natalka and Peter from I. Kotlyarevsky's drama Natalka Poltavka) the author, starting from the theme of emigration, raises essential, common human problems: about the meaning of human life, about love as the highest measure of humanity, about the inevitability of time, about a person's right to choose and responsibility for it.

The paper is devoted to the study of the artistic interpretation of the phenomenon of duality in Ukrainian emigration prose, in particular in the works of Yuri Kosach ("The Voice from afar"), Ihor Kostetsky ("The price of a human name"), and Viktor Domontovych ("The tamed haydamak"). The peculiarities of interpretation by Ukrainian émigré writers of the concepts of duality and double, their ideological content and autobiographical overtones are analyzed. Attention is focused on the creation of a system of double characters, the main artistic techniques used by the authors to depict the duality of man and the world as well as inter-textual parallels of the studied texts. Duality is considered in these texts both as a certain motive realized through understanding the phenomenon of duality of a person and the world, and as an artistic device that affects the organization of the work system (figurative, plot, composition). It is noted that in the texts under study, the phenomenon of duality, although it has distinctly romantic features, demonstrates new changes based on modernist artistic means and associated with the problem of identity. It is artistically expressed by such means as the principle of "polar mirroring", the interweaving of "external" and "internal" plots, the sleep as an artistic technique, the motif of the "mechanic man", etc. In the content of the works, it is realized thought an appeal to the theme of taboo, isolated and repressed memory (by Yuri Kosach), the question of name and biography (by Ihor Kostetsky), the problem of the integrity of the human personality (by Viktor Domontovych). It is argued that the phenomenon of duality turned out to be a fairly productive artistic model, which made it possible to identity significant contradictions in the human character and thinking, to realize the complexity and ambiguity of the world and the person in it, their interconnectedness and interdependence.

Decision support systems have a wide range of applications in various fields, including but not limited to commercial activities, medical institutions, educational institutions, scientific research, engineering, and government agencies. These systems support efficient processing of information from various sources using a variety of methodological approaches, including statistical analysis, data analysis, machine learning methods, optimization, and many others. In view of the above-mentioned features, there is an important issue of developing effective decision support systems that would meet the needs of modern organizations. This article reviews current approaches to software development, including analyzing a potential architecture for implementing a decision support system focused on patient diagnosis using fuzzy logic.

The article presents the main concepts for defining and describing delusions and delusional ideas used in modern clinical psychiatry and philosophy of psychiatry. Their analysis and comparison are carried out, the main differences in the psychiatric and philosophical understanding of delusions are indicated. It is demonstrated that modern clinical psychiatry considers delusional ideas inaccessible to understanding, and therefore considers them purely as a symptom of mental disorder. The author proposes to reconsider this approach and focus on interpreting delusions, giving them meaning, and finding methods for their analysis. The author identifies the difficulties that arise in the process of interpreting delusions by a person who does not suffer from a mental disorder. The fundamental difference in building a picture of the world in mentally healthy people and people suffering from mental disorders is emphasised. The hypotheses put forward in the philosophy of psychiatry on how to understand delusional judgements are demonstrated. One of the hypotheses, the "doxastic" position, considers delusional judgements to be a special case of false statements and suggests that they should be analysed in the same way as any other false judgement. Another hypothesis, the reaction to pathological experience, suggests that delusional judgements are a reaction to a unique pathological experience. Delusional ideas arise in an attempt to explain these experiences, and this approach allows for a greater understanding of the mechanisms underlying delusional judgements. A rationalist approach to the interpretation of delusions is also presented, which assumes that pathological changes occur at a higher level than direct perceptions. This approach is based on the analysis of the delusional statements themselves, trying to find out what the changes in the patient's attitudes may be. According to the rationalist approach, the altered ideas of a mentally ill person are a consequence of their attitudes towards themselves and the world, and this is what sets the stage for the possible emergence of delusions. According to the rationalist approach, delusional ideas are not evaluated for their truth or falsity, as they are outside of any possible experience. Therefore, the rationalist approach allows us to understand what the patient's beliefs are that caused his or her delusions. It is determined that the described approaches change the perception of delusions as a sign or symptom of mental illness and do not ignore its own content in explaining mental disorder. The philosophy of psychiatry understands the space in which delusional discourse is constructed as a sphere that can be described and should be studied.

It is demonstrated that modern clinical psychiatry considers delusional ideas inaccessible to understanding, and therefore considers them purely as a symptom of mental disorder. The author proposes to reconsider this approach and focus on interpreting delusions, giving them meaning, and finding methods for their analysis. The author identifies the difficulties that arise in the process of interpreting delusions by a person who does not suffer from a mental disorder. The fundamental difference in building a picture of the world in mentally healthy people and people suffering from mental disorders is emphasised. The hypotheses put forward in the philosophy of psychiatry on how to understand delusional judgements are demonstrated. One of the hypotheses, the \"doxastic\" position, considers delusional judgements to be a special case of false statements and suggests that they should be analysed in the same way as any other false judgement. Another hypothesis, the reaction to pathological experience, suggests that delusional judgements are a reaction to a unique pathological experience. Delusional ideas arise in an attempt to explain these experiences, and this approach allows for a greater understanding of the mechanisms underlying delusional judgements. A rationalist approach to the interpretation of delusions is also presented, which assumes that pathological changes occur at a higher level than direct perceptions. This approach is based on the analysis of the delusional statements themselves, trying to find out what the changes in the patient's attitudes may be. According to the rationalist approach, the altered ideas of a mentally ill person are a consequence of their attitudes towards themselves and the world, and this is what sets the stage for the possible emergence of delusions. According to the rationalist approach, delusional ideas are not evaluated for their truth or falsity, as they are outside of any possible experience. Therefore, the rationalist approach allows us to understand what the patient's beliefs are that caused his or her delusions. It is determined that the described approaches change the perception of delusions as a sign or symptom of mental illness and do not ignore its own content in explaining mental disorder. The philosophy of psychiatry understands the space in which delusional discourse is constructed as a sphere that can be described and should be studied.","PeriodicalId":33822,"journal":{"name":"Visnik Kiivs''kij nacional''nij universitet imeni Tarasa Sevcenka Istoria","volume":"140 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79845413","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It was determined that in modern Ukrainian humanitarianism there is a revival of interest in the formation and peculiarities of national philosophical traditions. It was revealed that one of the leading trends of modern historical and philosophical science is the ever deeper consideration of the cultural, political and social contexts of philosophizing. The growing interest in national philosophies is demonstrated on the example of the study of early American philosophy, which after Americans reinterpreted their own history, as well as culture, politics, philosophy in the second half of the 20th century addressed early American culture, early political ideas, and early American philosophy. For the first time in the Ukrainian intellectual environment, the essential features of early American philosophy are comprehensively outlined in a historical-philosophical retrospective, a wide field of philosophical problems is demonstrated. The narrative that exists in scientific circles regarding the main essential features of the historical-philosophical phenomenon of "early American philosophy" has been studied. Keywords: history of philosophy; American philosophy; early American philosophy; Puritanism; historical and philosophical narrative.

The article presents the results of an empirical study of stylistic characteristics of the manifestation of management skills by officers in a combat environment. During the research, a number of personal characteristics were identified, which are most associated with a high level of management skills, which can be a prognostic indicator of the success of professional training and functioning of an officer in a combat environment. Distinguished stylistic features of the manifestation of management skills in a combat environment made it possible to identify officers of two types: universalplastic and rigid-fragmentary. They are distinguished by the adequacy of actions carried out by them in a combat environment, the completeness and quality of mastering the main groups of management skills (strength, functional plasticity, generalization), the nature of their actualization, the number and nature of errors and difficulties that are detected or experienced at various stages of activity, and as well as the connection of managerial skills with the effectiveness of activities. Based on the analysis of combat activity, it was established that the effectiveness of the implementation of management skills of officers in a combat environment is determined by a specific combination of a number of objective and subjective factors, the most important of which include: the content of the combat task; the nature of the enemy's influence; the officer's image of the combat situation, which he perceives as stimulating/neutral for starting/blocking a certain intellectual-behavioural pattern of combat behaviour; psychological readiness to act decisively in a non-standard environment; the repertoire of patterns and techniques for solving combat tasks mastered by the officer.
