The article presents the result of a study that will help to consider the dynamics of the development of the main indicators in the process of adaptation to work at school for a novice teacher. This study will help to correctly draw up a mentor's work plan with a young teacher, at the right time to provide him with professional support, which is an important component in his further decision to stay or leave school. The analysis of graphs was also carried out and the patterns of development of the main indicators in the process of adaptation for a novice specialist were revealed. Based on the results obtained, the time frame for the onset of professional crises of a young teacher was determined, which can become his turning points in the desire to work at school, to determine important ranges for the work of a mentor with a young teacher.

The article is devoted to the analysis of the problem of legal literacy of students based on the results of a sociological survey, in which 102 university students from various fields of study took part. For 97% of respondents, legal literacy in the modern world is very relevant. The work emphasizes the importance of developing legal consciousness among financial university students and offers some recommendations for improving this process. This is due to the fact that legal literacy is an indicator of an individual’s social maturity and readiness to resolve legal issues. Thus, the results of the study allow us to conclude that it is necessary to introduce more classes on legal issues into the system of training highly qualified personnel, which will help students better understand legal instruments and their application in various situations.

This article substantiates the relevance and significance of studying the elective course "Problem Solving with Parameters" for generalizing and systematizing theoretical material on key topics of the school mathematics course, as well as for developing creative thinking and gaining experience in solving non-standard problems of increased complexity contained in the texts of the profile level of the USE mathematics. The formation of the course content and its testing were carried out for three years in the classroom with mathematically gifted eleventh-graders and one semester with first-year students of the Faculty of Economics as part of the scientific circle. As a result of the work carried out, the authors managed to identify the main methods for solving problems with parameters and analyze the most common mistakes made by students.

This article analyzes the results of a study aimed at identifying the assessment by university students of the role of physical culture in the upbringing and development of personality. During the implementation of the project, a sociological survey was conducted on the basis of the author's questionnaire, in which 124 students of the Omsk branch of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation who have no restrictions on physical education for health reasons took part. The results of the study give grounds to assert that only 41% of students regularly engage in physical culture and sports. At the same time, the overwhelming majority of respondents noted the positive impact of classes on physical health and the development of important personal qualities such as, for example, willpower, self-confidence and purposefulness. The low motivation of respondents to engage in physical culture and sports, to a large extent, as the survey showed, is due to the lack of commitment to a healthy lifestyle in many families (84%). In addition, physical education classes do not take into account individual characteristics and current fitness techniques to the proper extent, which also contributes to a decrease in students' interest. An important component of the formation of a positive attitude among young people to physical culture and sports is the equipment of university gyms with modern physical education equipment and inventory. The results of the study can be used in the development of programs of the discipline "Physical Culture" and effective methods that contribute to the development of sustainable motivation among students to engage in physical culture and sports not only during their studies at the university, but also throughout their lives.

The article discusses the possibilities of forming professional competencies when performing a diploma project in educational institutions of secondary vocational education through the involvement of students in project activities. The substantiation of the approach to the design activity of the pedagogical worker is proposed, the procedural scheme of the design of the educational process in the implementation of the diploma project is proposed. The role of project activity in achieving educational goals, as well as the impact on the professional development of the student is shown. The conducted studies allow us to conclude that it is necessary to divide the design process into stages that differ in priority deterministic goals. The structure of the professional module, made on the basis of the federal state standard in the system of secondary vocational education, is given.

For the purpose of monitoring of the implementation of the upgraded State Educational Standards of primary and secondary education a survey of pedagogical community was held in spring, 2023. There were two groups of respondents: school administration and teachers of the 1st and 5th forms. The answers of the latter group are presented and analyzed in the article as their professional activities have been mainly impacted by the changes of the Standards. The majority of the questions had the so-called ‘your variant’ of the answer that have been also systematized and studied. In conclusion, the progressive trends as well as hitches of the Russian education are highlighted; the proposals for improvements of some aspects of secondary education are put forth.
