In connection with the transition of higher education to the Federal State Educational Standards of Higher Education of the third generation in terms of evaluating learning outcomes, a new task has arisen to create such an assessment system that would allow determining the formation of competencies and parts of competencies of students and graduates. To do this, universities should create a qualitatively new system for evaluating educational outcomes. At the same time, it is certainly desirable that the new system make maximum use of already well-tested, repeatedly tested and familiar tools and techniques. Testing is one of these tools that meet modern requirements and at the same time are already familiar to users. Of particular note is the value of testing for current and widely used distance learning methods. The article is devoted to some aspects of modern testing, namely, the creation of databases of test tasks and the design of the test tasks themselves as a type of certification and pedagogical measuring materials based on the provisions of the theory of testing and international standards. The article may be useful to all teachers who use or intend to use modern testing tools in their professional activities, teachers who form funds of assessment tools for disciplines at departments of educational institutions of higher education, as well as to the organizers and performers of diagnostic work of Rosobrnadzor – heads of departments and heads of the main professional educational programs.

Elective courses play an important role in the profile education of high school students. Thanks to them, it is possible to expand or deepen the knowledge and skills of schoolchildren in a particular subject area, prepare them for choosing a profession or passing the state final certification. An important place in elective courses is occupied by control measures, with the help of which the teacher both determines the level of readiness of students to pass the elective and assesses the success of the student in mastering the course material. In this regard, the future teacher must master the methodology for organizing elective courses, including the ability to develop or select materials for control activities. Taking into account the transition of education in pedagogical universities to the “Core of Higher Pedagogical Education”, it becomes difficult to prepare for elective courses in computer science. Therefore, the article shows one of the ways for students to master the skills of organizing and conducting elective courses through one of the university disciplines. The development of tasks for control measures, designed by students in the study of university discipline, is given.

The article describes the concept of functional literacy, provides approaches to understanding its components, and also presents a technology aimed at developing this skill using digital tools. One of the problems of school education is the formalism of knowledge and the inability of students to apply subject knowledge to solve life problems in various fields, in connection with which the issue of forming and increasing the level of functional literacy of modern schoolchildren becomes relevant. This work has a systematic and complex character and should be carried out within the framework of both classroom and extracurricular activities. The article focuses on the formation and improvement of the level of functional literacy in computer science lessons as a science characterized by interdisciplinarity, fundamentality and practice orientation. A technology for the formation of functional literacy based on B. Bloom's hierarchy of educational goals which includes six levels is proposed, the article also presents technologies and tools for the implementation of educational goals in accordance with the types of activities at each level.

The problem of estimating the complexity of formulas and methods used in solving school tasks in mechanics is considered. A content analysis of standard school textbooks and tasks books was car-ried out, all formulas on mechanics were written out and 9 topics were identified, each of which corresponds to its own method of solving tasks. To assess the semantic complexity, the formulas were encoded with a verbal code and presented in a text file Formuli.txt . The complexity of the concepts denoting physical quantities is evaluated separately; their list is placed in a file Slovar.txt. With the help of a special computer program, the semantic complexities of formulas (or their corresponding theoretical propositions) are determined, and the coefficient of information folding is calculated for each ones. At that the difference between formulas-definitions and formulas expressing functional dependencies was taken into account. The distributions of formulas and methods in the space of their characteristic features are analyzed. This made it possible to identify the most com-plex formulas and methods for solving tasks in mechanics. The number of formulas in each method is also taken into account, the choice uncertainty of formulas and the corresponding complexity of the choice in the independent solution of a single-formula task are estimated. It is shown how the choice uncertainty of formulas can be taken into account when solving two- and three-formula tasks.

The article examines the problem of improving the quality of subject educational results at an economic university in the interests of sustainable development. The authors noted that the modern unstable world requires a professional in any field to be able to solve new problems in changing circumstances. This makes it necessary to develop a strategy for preparing a competent, mobile and creative worker in the field of education. In this regard, the emphasis in the organization of the educational process naturally shifts from the procedural component to the productive component. At the same time, the significance of the student’s subjective position increases: the integration of his motivational attitudes, social and market demand as a future professional. Based on the analysis of the most important international documents, the principles of education for sustainable development are identified, which are grouped according to their functional orientation. The first group determines the development of the individual (continuity of education, professional culture of interaction, the effectiveness of education, transformative intelligence). The second group provides conditions for personal development (fundamentalization, openness of education, advanced learning, active learning, informatization, monitoring of learning outcomes, etc.). The requirements for the results of subject mathematical training at the University of Economics are determined in the context of the principles of education for sustainable development. Based on the results of the study, a pedagogical experiment was conducted, during which the monitoring of educational results within the disciplines of the subject area “Mathematics” was carried out. The influence of experimental learning (use of case-tasks, project-type tasks) in the course of mathematical training on the level of formation of the components of mathematical competence in the context of ESD principles was studied. The results of pedagogical measurements showed a positive dynamics of the components of mathematical competence, in particular, the motivational and value qualities of future bachelors and masters.

The authors study the problem of implementing integrative links between academic disciplines at an economic university using digital tools. The importance of digital technologies as a means of integration for the study of economic and mathematical models in the process of mathematical training of students of an economic university is determined. A practical problem is considered, demonstrating the constructive possibilities of economic and mathematical modeling and digital tools in the implementation of integrative links between academic disciplines. When solving the problem, a double integral is used as a mathematical model, which makes it possible to formalize and study the socio-economic process. The capabilities of the Python programming language, which provides the implementation of an intra-model solution, are demonstrated. In the course of the study, the authors monitored the dynamics of the level of integrative connections of academic disciplines within the framework of the continuity of educational programs for undergraduate and graduate programs. An online survey was conducted among students of an enlarged group of areas of training in Economics and Management on the problematic aspects of using digital tools to study economic and mathematical models and obtain integrated educational results. The findings indicate the need for further development of integrative links between the disciplines of the subject areas “Economics”, “Mathematics”, “Computer Science and Information Technology” in the context of digital education, which, in turn, provides the necessary level of quality of modern educational results.

Constant progress and creative renewal are integral features of the educational process in higher education, actualizing the problem of developing future teachers’ competencies related to the theoretical justification of parenting strategies and upbringing work in educational organizations. In 2019, the Department of Pedagogy of Irkutsk State University started a master’s program «Upbringing activity in an educational organization», focused on solving the identified problems through the study of disciplines: «Design and organization of professional pedagogical activity», «Methods of educational work», «Design strategies and tactics of pedagogical interaction», «Diagnostics of the quality of the educational process», «Development of individual personal programs», etc. We believe that the experience of the Department of Pedagogy of the ISU in organizing the research work of undergraduates on the problems of upbringing deserves discussion and further dissemination.

The anniversary of a personality is always an expected, joyful, pleasant and at the same time sad event. Expected because the hero of the day knows – it will definitely happen. Joyful because the hero of the day sums up his long scientific activity, and analyzing the path he has traveled, he is satisfied that he was able to implement many of his ideas and plans both in science and in his personal life. Pleasant because the hero of the day knows that these days he will hear a lot of interesting and beautiful words from his colleagues, colleagues, students, friends and family members. It's sad because he realizes that years pass, while time is fleeting and there is no stopping him, but at the same time he can still and wants to have time to do something useful for his family and the people around him.
