The article deals with the analysis of basic connections of the pedagogical practice as an inevitable part of preparing of future teachers. The evidence is oriented not only to the content side of pedagogical practice and its stages, but to general activities in the area of the organization, personal work and its preparing. In realization of pedagogical practice the students obtain an abundance of impulses not only to the motivation for study, but to persistence or non-persistence in this perspective profession which is as one from the most important professions in the cultural and educational development of every country.

The submitted study has a theoretical character and its aim is to define the relationship between the social competences of pupils and their educationally problematic behaviour in and outside the school context. In the first chapter the authors defines and compares the concepts of competence, key competence and social competence. The second chapter is aimed at educational problems and disorders in the behaviour of pupils. And finally, in the third chapter, the authors offers possibilities of acquiring and developing social competences of pupils in order to prevent their unsuitable behaviour in and outside the school context.

The paper gives an overview of the basic methods of teaching initial reading at primary schools in England, which has traditionally been ranked at the top of the scoreboards in international reading literacy testing. These results are probably related to the fact that the local government has set a national priority to improve reading literacy (ie, reading literacy). The aim of teaching initial reading is both the ability to decode individual words and to understand their meaning - the methods of teaching initial reading at primary schools in England are therefore focused on both word decoding and reading comprehension. The paper presents the interconnection of the ability to decode individual words and their understanding of the meaning (The searchlight model of reading) and also describes the methods of teaching the initial reading used in primary schools in England (e.g. Guided reading, Independent reading, Modeled reading, Shared reading) with the emphasis on the Phonics method.

The modern pedagogical technologies orient the system of higher physical education for the training students with professional competence and ability to navigate the labor market. The purpose of the study is to develop and experimentally test the professional training system designed for students in physical education and sports. The object of the research is the professional training of students in physical education and sports in higher education institutions. The results of the pedagogical experiment, which are presented in the article, indicate that there were statistically significant changes in the readiness formation level of the students.

There are a number of classroom management systems on the market. One of them is Classcraft, which also contains gamification elements. In the paper we describe the implementation and evaluate the experience of using Classcraft in teaching informatics. The implementation took place in the school year 2017/2018 in the 5th year at the primary school with the kindergarten J. Bakossa in the subject Informatics. This school year is being implemented in the 6th and 8th grades, but already in the paid version.

The paper is devoted to the issue of university preparation of future teachers of fine arts through the interpretation of visual stimuli as one of the strategies for developing their critical and creative thinking. The author examines the problem in relation to the objectives of the project supported by the Research and Development Agency under contract no. APVV-15-0368 in the context of current teaching practice requirements for developing critical thinking and creativity.

Mind maps visualize the curriculum through a nonlinear notation that uses concepts, images, symbols, and colors to translate pupils and students into a more memorable form. One of the effective ways to convey concepts and their relationships to pupils and students so that they can better understand them is how to implement mind maps into the teaching process. The presented paper highlights the possibilities of applying mind maps in the natural education of younger school children as well as the possibilities of their application in environmental education. As part of the application of mind maps in the natural education of children of the younger school age, we present examples of electronic mind maps in terms of visual teaching aids applicable in the subject of natural science as well as selected pupils' mind maps. In connection with the application of maps in environmental education, we also present an example of an electronic map in terms of promoting environmental education. At the same time, the presented paper offers the results of a selected part of the research realized with the pupils of the 4th grade of primary school in the science lessons. In the research, we monitored the relationship between the score achieved by the pupils in the output didactic test and the complexity of displaying selected terms in the mind map.

Nowadays, full of digitized information, it is important to orientate, evaluate and interpret symbols, charts, schemes that are part of our lives. The paper is focused on approximation of graphic expression as a part of development of critical thinking among students in science subjects. The graph and its understanding are irreplaceable in science and hence chemistry. Part of the presented paper is a demonstration of tasks focused on graphic expression, its evaluation and also a description of possible causes of incorrect answers in students.
