This article discusses the interaction of children in groups during the reading of a dialogue book as a second language learning at school. An English native instructor at a kindergarten school is observed and recorded activities while reading picture books to children aged 5-6 years in a small group reading situation. Data analysis method used is qualitative content analysis. This study reveals that there are various group interactions, but it can provide opportunities for children to learn the language. Teachers in kindergarten also use a variety of learning strategies that involve linguistic and cognitive levels as classroom learning with children. The research will increase teachers' understanding of the importance of introducing language in kindergarten settings and can be useful for teachers to attend language training, especially English. Keywords—group interactions, dialog reading, kindergarten, language learning

This study examines the effects of the phonics method approach towards children's reading skills in kindergartens. The reading ability is necessary when the child continues his education. This research was conducted by evaluating children's learning outcomes with the application of phonics methods. The subjects of this study are children aged 56 years. Fifteen children from group B in TK ABA (Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal) evaluated their reading ability by looking at the effectiveness of their implementation and achievement outcomes. Equally children are given the same activities and will be observed using check list and rating scale. The data was analyzed using explorative descriptive statistics. In accordance with the existing hypothesis that the phonetic method is effective for developing children's reading abilities. As many as 93.32% of children can be categorized as developing very well in their reading ability based on the evaluation of learning outcomes. Keywords— phonic, reading, children

This development illustrates the prototype analysis model for the development of career choice instruments for intellectual disability students in high school. This is based on the idea that the nature of everyone will enter the career world or have a career no exception mentally disabled students. before they enter the world, they will make choices about various careers based on their potential so they can achieve independence in the community. Career choices are important in the career development process. Career choices and career adjustments are a form of development of one's personality. Career choices require a complete understanding of the potential that needs to be optimally developed in career development. An individual interested in a career occurs because of personality and various other variables that lie behind it. This study aims to provide a solution to schools in helping intellectual disability students to find career choices that are appropriate to their personality. Findings from the study reveal that intellectual disability students experience difficulties in career selection. Even they don't know where their career development is going to go after graduating from school. Schools should have responsibilities in helping students develop their potential, including in career selection. However, schools have difficulty in helping students because there is no reference that can be used, so there is a hesitation in the teacher when directing student career development. This development design through preliminary study, initial model design and expert validation test through written discussion and suggestion techniques were analyzed descriptively. This development resulted in an extraordinary "career choice assessment instrument for intellectual disability students in high school" Keywords— career choice, personality type, intellectual disability

Early childhood has excessive energy that needs to be dispensed exactly, one of them is by involving physical activities. Gross motor is an important part of the growth process and ultimately plays a role in one's ability to lead a physically active life, one active learning model involving children is fantasy gymnastic. Fantasy gymnastic is a form of imitating gym that can be composed using motion and song or story. The empirical finding indicates that the children's motor physical learning is mostly focused on fine motor development, while the gross motor is less noticeable. Gross motor activity in schools is mostly too focused on indicators and lacks development on these indicators. Learning also tends to be less varied (monotonous) as well as minimal media and rarely integrates into a fun game. This results children easily to feel bored and difficult to be managed because their energy is not maximally dispensed when the learning goes on. The purpose of this study is to describe that fantasy gymnastic is as an active and imaginative model of gross motor learning. The research was quantitative quasi-experimental method using pretest and post-test approach with one group design on 24 children, gymnastic following the motion and song that had been arranged by teacher in the form of VCD and played through tape recorder. The result shows that the fantasy gymnastic is effective to boost the children's gross motor into 54.2%. The fantasy gymnastic learning model gives a significant influence on the gross motor skills of early childhood as well as makes the learning process more active and imaginative. Keywords— fantasy gymnastic, active, imaginative, gross motor

This article discusses the involvement of parents in the development of the visually impaired child of the visually impaired. The learning process in schools for the blind children cannot be separated from the sensitivity ability of tactual sensitivity to facilitate in learning to read and write braille. Development of the senses can be done tactual since children of the blind early age. Tactual sensitivity can be optimized through planned programs with school teams, families and communities. The role of parents begins through communication with the teacher for the needs that can be done at home. The second role is related to the development of learning programs to stimulate the tactual senses. The third role as a supervisor to assess the development of the sense of tactual based on full performance. Parental involvement can strengthen relationships with children to foster motivation to learn. There needs to be positive support and open attitude between the school and parents to create, implement and assess the development program of the tactual senses in the blind child.
