Conclui que a aplicação da base teórica fundada nas dimensões da organização defendidas por Baldissera (2004; 2008; 2009; 2015) possibilita demonstrar como a organização falada e comunicante é complexa, como os estudos sobre diversidade cultural. Abstract The aim of this article was to discuss the issue of cultural diversity in Brazilian organizations, in the context of metallurgy and mining in relation to black woman in this space. The methodology applied was based on descriptive research of a qualitative and the speech analysis. Results: through the construction of the meaning of the subjects surveyed it showed the complexity of gender and race, in Brazilian organizations. Final considerations: the application of the theoretical basis based on the Organization defended by Baldissera (2004; 2008; 2009; 2015) made it possible to demonstrate how complex the spoken and communicating organization is, such as studies on cultural diversity.

A sociedade, historicamente, incorpora para si os seus proprios avancos e assim se reconfigura paramelhor usufruir desse novo espectro. A sociedade da informacao e do conhecimento e a novareconfiguracao social que se apresenta no seculo XXI. Nessa nova sociedade nao basta mais apenas seralfabetizado, aprender a ler, estudar em livros para a prova, saber tabuadas e estar presente na escola.Ela usa novos recursos de aprendizagem que se juntam ou substituem os anteriores, ela nao descarta asnovas tecnologias como recurso para aprender e exige do cidadao uma nova competencia: acompetencia em informacao. Um cidadao "alfabetizado" em informacao e nos recursos que permitemacessar e usar as informacoes e conhecimentos disponiveis, incluindo as novas tecnologias,especialmente as de informacao e comunicacao. Por isso a relacao aprendiz e aprendizado esta sereconfigurando e agora precisa desenvolver o cidadao para torna-lo competente em informacao. E paraser e se manter competente em informacao nao basta aprender e apreender: e preciso aprender portoda a vida.

Addresses Information Management and Knowledge Management in postgraduate courses in Information Science in Brazil. It aims to analyze the contents of the disciplines on Information Management and Knowledge Management offered in postgraduate courses in Information Science in Brazil. Methodologically, the research is characterized as exploratory and descriptive, with quantitative and qualitative approaches, the documentary type performed in the web environment. Adopts as a universe the higher education institutions that offer postgraduate courses in Information Science. Thus, it considers the need to work with all the universities that offer the mentioned course, to achieve a broader analysis and more satisfactory results. For data organization and analysis it adopts the content analysis method. The results show that most of the programs are called Information Science, their lines of research incorporate Information Management and Knowledge Management in their studies that have been offered at the Masters (academic and professional) levels doctorate degree. The thematic axes pertinent to the discipline of Information and Knowledge Management are predominant in courses with high evaluation by the Coordination of Improvement of Higher Education Personnel and have a great predominance of the contents of the subjects under study. It presents positive perspectives in relation to the approaches that are being inserted in the postgraduate courses in Information Science in Brazil and proposes emerging content to the programs courses that do not yet offer the thematic axis analyzed.

This article seeks to characterize the relationships between information competences and the knowledge worker through: mapping, in scientific journals A1 focused on CI (Information & Society: Studies; TransInformation; Perspectives in Information Science), available on the Sucupira Platform (Quadriênio 2013-2016), in the period from 2015 to 2019, the articles that deal, individually, with the terms “information skills” and “knowledge worker”, as well as those that express relations between them. To this end, this research report was constructed through an investigative, qualitative and descriptive study based on review, bibliographic analysis and content analysis on the subject in question. The studies conclude that, in the scope of the investigated journals and the research period, publications on information skills are in evidence compared to those aimed at the knowledge worker. The analyzed publications do not refer to the relationship between the knowledge worker and the information skills necessary for the development of their work. They also conclude that publications about the knowledge worker are scarce.

Aims to analyze the Smart Campus practices of the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG) in relation to the Information Management (IM) stages of the Choo model. Smart Campus is a research area in which technology and infrastructure are used to support and improve their service processes in higher education institutions, assisting teaching, extension and research. Information Management brings benefits in the administration of information in an integrated, coherent, efficient and effective way; it facilitates decision making and maximizes the quality, availability, use and value of information. UFCG has been using Smart Campus techniques since 2019, with the objective of integrating the Internet of things to campus management, teaching and the intra- and inter-organizational collaborations. This study has an exploratory and descriptive nature, with a qualitative approach and a direct documental nature, and for whose development we used the Content Analysis technique and applied a questionnaire to the Smart Campus implementation project manager at UFCG, indicated that the Smart Campus applications combines with the Choo ’ s IM model. UFCG is concerned with identifying information needs, which is acquired through interaction between teachers and students on social networks and distributed through weekly meetings with interest groups, the websites and social networks. We concluded that this institution does not practice the Choo ’ s IM model steps of information ’ s use and performance evaluations, although there are initiatives in progress.
