As a result of the Coronavirus, both supply chain and internal logistics processes at factories have changed a lot. In many areas, the effectiveness of the logistics processes has declined because of the restrictions implemented against the virus. The study lists some adverse effects where logistics processes had to be modified due to the changing and protection measures against or negative effects of the virus. The authors also argue that these restrictions decreased the efficiency of logistics processes and workers' productivity. One option to increase the logistics sector's efficiency is to use air purification technologies, like the ones studied in this paper: UV-C, Bioxygen® or plasma-ion decontamination technologies. These disinfection processes can create a safe indoor environment. The authors analyse the examined technologies with SWOT analysis. The analysis results demonstrate which disinfection application is the most beneficial to help in improving indoor air quality for logistics processes.

By 2022, Gen Z and millennial consumers dominated Shopee usage in Indonesia. Similar e-commerce platforms are forced to constantly innovate to remain competitive in the market due to increasing competition. Therefore, the primary focus of e-commerce platform development should be on the user interface, user experience design, and promotions that are appealing and easy to access so that potential customers are inclined to repurchase. This research aims to determine the influence of UI design, UX design, and promotions on the repurchase intention of users of the Shopee application. The sampling method used was systematic sampling. Ninety-six respondents are included in the sample. This study uses descriptive analysis, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing for data analysis. SPSS Statistics 28.0 was used for data processing. The study found that user interface design, user experience design, and sales promotions statistically impact the repurchase intention of users of the Shopee application. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of repurchase intent in e-commerce.

Ahhoz, hogy a képzés hatásos és produktív legyen a sok összetevőből az egyik alapfeltétel a szülői támogatás megléte. A fiatalkori versenysport rengeteg kihívást jelent egy család számára és több aspektusból vizsgálva is befolyásolja az életüket. Kutatásom során megvizsgáltam, hogy bizonyos demográfiai változók tekintetében az utánpótlássport miként hat a szülőkre, milyen változásokat generál a családi életükben és arra is figyelmet fordítottam, hogy a családban milyen elvárások fogalmazódnak meg a sporttal szemben. A vizsgálat alapját egy online kérdőíves felmérésem adja, melyet több mint 700-an töltöttek ki a szülők közül országosan a labdarúgó utánpótlás nevelő egyesületek teljes vertikumában. Kutatásomból kiderült, hogy a korábbi témához köthető szakirodalmaknak megfelelően az általam vizsgált szülők életére is jelentős hatással van a gyermekük sportolása és különböző elvárásokat fogalmaznak meg azzal kapcsolatban, melyeket különböző szociális és demográfiai tényezők is befolyásolnak.

The optimization of manufacturing and production processes with various computer software is essential these days. Solutions on the market allow us to optimize and improve our manufacturing and production processes; one of the most popular software is called Tecnomatrix, which is described in this paper. Tool condition monitoring is a vital part of the manufacturing process in the industry. It requires continuous measurement of the wear of the cutting tool edges to improve the surface quality of the work piece and maintain productivity. Multiple methods are available for the determination of the actual condition of the cutting tool. Vibration diagnostics and acoustic methods are included in this paper. These methods are simple, it requires only high sensitive sensors, microphones, and data acquisition unit to gather the vibration signal and make signal improvement. Extended Taylor equation is applied for tool edge wear ratio. Labview and Matlab software are applied for the measurement and the digital signal processing. Machine learning method with artificial neural network is for the detection and prediction of the edge wear to estimate the remaining useful lifetime (RUL) of the tool.

Following the state of art in digitalization, further focus is on the digitalization of small and medium enterprises in both countries. The secondary research is done through several international reports and databases collected for years 2018-2022, depending on the availability. The comparison is performed based on four subcategories of digitization areas defined by the European Commission. The study holds its uniqueness due to the absence of comparative research between the mentioned two countries and the indicators used. The results contribute to the awareness, existing knowledge and provide future research insights into digitalization trends of both countries.

Heuristic algorithms are practical, easy to implement, and work fast to provide short-term, feasible solutions for any kind of problem within economical budgets as compared to other meta-heuristic algorithms. This paper presents a novel heuristic algorithm named the Dahiya-Garg Heuristic Algorithm (DG-Alg) to find the optimal solution for constrained reliability redundancy allocation optimization problems. The cornerstone of the novel DG-Alg is its novel selection factor, which is a mathematical formula that helps the heuristic algorithm search for optimal subsystems for reliability optimization. A novel formulated selection factor in DG-Alg has increased its effectiveness and efficiency. To analyze the performance of the proposed heuristic algorithm and the other three existing heuristic algorithms, they are applied to a problem taken from a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant named Yaris Pharmaceuticals. During the application of the heuristic algorithms, it was ensured that redundancy allocation was done within stipulated cost constraints. Further, a comparative analysis of the obtained results has been done to judge the performance of the proposed heuristic algorithm. It is deduced that the proposed heuristic algorithm gives optimized and computationally efficient results in comparison to the other existing heuristic algorithms.

Recently, many open-source products have been used under the situations of general software development, because the cost saving and standardization. Therefore, many open-source products are gathering attention from many software development companies. Then, the reliability/quality of open-source products becomes very important factor for the software development. This paper focuses on the reliability/quality evaluation of open-source products. In particular, the large quantity fault data sets recorded on Bugzilla of open-source products is used in many open-source development projects. Then, the large amount of data sets of software faults is recorded on the Bugzilla. This paper proposes the reliability/quality evaluation approach based on the deep machine learning by using the large quantity fault data on the Bugzilla. Moreover, the large quantity fault data sets are analyzed by the deep machine learning based on the fine-tuning.

How to accurately evaluate and predict the degradation state of the components with small samples is a critical and practical problem. To address the problems of unknown degradation state of components, difficulty in obtaining relevant environmental data and small sample size in the field of reliability prediction, a reliability evaluation and prediction method based on Cox model and 1D CNN-BiLSTM model is proposed in this paper. Taking the historical fault data of six components of a typical load-haul-dump (LHD) machine as an example, a reliability evaluation method based on Cox model with small sample size is applied by comparing the reliability evaluation models such as logistic regression (LR) model, support vector machine (SVM) model and back propagation neural network (BPNN) model in a comprehensive manner. On this basis, a reliability prediction method based on one-dimensional convolutional neural network-bi-directional long and short-term memory network (1D CNN-BiLSTM) is applied with the objective of minimizing the prediction error. The applicability as well as the effectiveness of the proposed model is verified by comparing typical time series prediction models such as the autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) model and multiple linear regression (MLR). The experimental results show that the proposed model is valuable for the development of reliability plans and for the implementation of reliability maintenance activities.

The applicability as well as the effectiveness of the proposed model is verified by comparing typical time series prediction models such as the autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) model and multiple linear regression (MLR). The paper proposes a hierarchical reliability modelling and assessment approach for a life support system (LSS) that provides oxygen to the pilot and is employed in a combat aircraft. The system has the primary function of generating oxygen onboard, and it has a backup gaseous oxygen tank as redundancy. An emergency oxygen bottle is also part of the ejection seat for emergency use. Both backup oxygen and emergency oxygen have a fixed capacity and a fixed duration of oxygen supply. Therefore, it is crucial to assess the reliability of the LSS to ensure its safety and effectiveness of this LSS during a mission by the combat aircraft. The proposed reliability model of LSS is developed as a two-level hierarchical model, that captures the inherent randomness in the operation of the system. At the lowest level of the hierarchy, Markov chains are used to model the events that may lead to the failure of the LSS. The events include the failure of individual components, the depletion of backup oxygen, and the depletion of emergency oxygen. The Markov chains consider the interactions between individual components and events during the mission profile. At the top level of the hierarchy, a fault tree is used to model the interactions between various events during the mission profile. The fault tree considers the interactions between individual events and the effects of redundancy on the reliability of the LSS. The results of the Markov chains at the lower level are exported to the higher level modelled via fault tree to find the overall system reliability. The reliability model is further extended to incorporate the deterministic nature of the LSS due to the fixed capacity of the backup tank and emergency bottle. The work addresses the modelling of six different scenarios of LSS operations. The modelling of these scenarios is achieved using Semi-Markov Processes (SMP), which allow the state holding time to be a general distribution.
