Assessment has been a key part of education, playing the role of determining how much students have learned. Traditionally, assessments have focused on whether students give the correct answer to problems, implying that the number of correctly answered test items is a valid measure of how much students know. Unfortunately, the focus on correct answers has also resulted in neglecting the potential ability of assessments to provide diagnostic feedback to educators as to what concepts students have mastered and where the gaps in their knowledge are, thus potentially informing the day-to-day teaching process. The present paper describes an assessment technique called Cognitive Structure Analysis that is derived from John Leddo’s integrated knowledge structure framework (Leddo et al., 1990) that combines several prominent knowledge representation frameworks in cognitive psychology. In a previous study (Leddo et al., 2022), CSA-based assessments of Algebra 1 knowledge correlated .966 with student problem-solving performance. The present study replicates the Leddo et al. (2022) findings on the subject of precalculus. Using a Google Form, students were queried on four types of knowledge considered the basis of mastery of precalculus concepts: factual, procedural, strategic, and rationale. From students’ responses to these queries, measures of each type of knowledge and a combined knowledge score were created. Students were also given problems to solve. Correlations between each knowledge component score and problem-solving performance were high and the correlation between overall CSA-assessed knowledge and problem-solving performance was .80. Results suggest that CSA

In this digital era, business financial analysis is becoming increasingly complex with the emergence of large and diverse data sets. The larger the business, the greater the amount of financial data it is accompanied by. Therefore, the development of effective and efficient analytical methods is needed to support the right decision-making in business. One approach that can be used is the use of an interactive Excel dashboard visualization. This study aims to identify the benefits and potential of using visualization dashboards in business financial analysis and to apply the concept to specific business problems. Thus, the benefits for business owners are that they can optimize financial performance through proper analysis and make future business decisions for their business development.

This paper examines the concepts of business efficiency and competitiveness, as well as their empirical measures, with a focus on the role of regional/geopolitical factors in shaping international trade economies. It also explores India's post-independence scepticismtowards private businesses and foreign policy, along with its strategic thinking and trade economy. Additionally, the paper discusses post-pandemic opportunities for trade, particularly in the context of the Russian-Ukraine conflict and its potential impact on global economic dynamics. The findings suggest that geopolitical tensions and shifts in global economic paradigms have significant implications for trade relations between nations. The study highlights the importance of diversifying investments, enhancing manufacturing capabilities, and investing in research and development efforts to strengthen economies and navigate geopolitical complexities. The paper concludes by emphasizing India's emerging potential as an alternative investment destination and its role in balancing interests between major global players.

This study is an empirical investigation into the relationship between sustainable development and natural capital depletion in Nigeria. The study uses time series data from 1990 to 2020 on adjusted net saving, including particulate emission damage as a percentage of Gross National Income (GNI) using Adjusted Net Saving (ANS) as a proxy variable for sustainable development, while natural capital depletion is proxied using total natural resources rents as a percentage of GDP for capturing Natural capital (NC). The gross national income per capita (GNI) and the inflation rate (INF) are considered control variables in the study. Adopting the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model and the Bounds test approach to cointegration, the study finds a long-run relationship among the variables. While the main independent variable, NC positively relates to ANS, the relationship is found to be statistically insignificant. GNI is found to negatively impact ANS while INF showed a mixed relationship with ANS across the short and long run. The study concludes that Nigeria must look beyond depleting the stock of natural resources for the purpose of driving sustainable development.

Fascinated by the fashion world and eager to magnify my knowledge on the evolution of fashion brands and amass a vision into a real-life impetus related to this business arena, I undertook a case study to evaluate two prosperous fashion business enterprises - Zara, a leading Spanish international fast fashion brand and Nykaa, an eminent Indian e-commerce and offline retail platform dealing in beauty and fashion products. This research paper pertains to a detailed assessment of the business evolution of these two brands from their launch and establishment to their maturity and current market status, their product range, vital infusions of their promoters and founders how they matured as a leader, these businesses’ pillars of strengths and elements of weaknesses, business criterion and marketing strategies, market expanse and a self-constructed SWOT analysis on these business ventures. The white paper concludes with my learning impacts related to the fashion business industry.

The only way a nation can advance in this rapidly changing world is if it adopts the new skills being taught, and the Indian government created a project called the Skill India project to do just that. This research paper examines the effects of the Skill India Mission on the nation's population and economy. It delves deeply into the different government initiatives established under it, examining how they are affecting the economy and how skill development of the populace is affected. It investigates whether or not this program has had a major effect on the economy of this nation. It also studies further if this program was a success or not. Additionally, it investigates whether or not this program was successful and, if so, to what degree it qualifies as such and so, this paper shows how this program was just a moderate success.

Algorithmic trading has experienced significant growth in recent years, revolutionizing the way trading is conducted. Hence, it is crucial to understand the implications of this transformation for various stakeholders and the financial industry as a whole. The aim of this research paper is to provide valuable insights into the role of technology in shaping modern financial markets, addressing potential risks and opportunities, and facilitating an informed discussion on the changes of these markets in the era of algorithmic trading. Through a systematic review of literature, empirical studies, and regulatory frameworks this research paper examines the impact of technological advancements in algorithmic trading on financial markets by looking at three key themes. The first being exploring the transition from traditional market structures to the widespread adoption of algorithmic trading. Providing a comprehensive understanding of the evolution of financial markets. The second being focusing on the key areas affected by algorithmic trading, including market efficiency, liquidity, volatility, price discovery, and impact on market participants. The third and last theme being an exploration into the regulatory and ethical considerations associated with this technological shift. From looking at specific illegal activities such as money laundering and insider trading to the breakdown of the regulatory measures in market structures such as cryptocurrency, derivatives, and stock markets. The findings of this research paper underscore the transformative nature of algorithmic trading in financial markets. It emphasizes the importance of regulatory vigilance, ethical conduct, and continuous monitoring to ensure the stability, fairness, and integrity of modern market structures.
