ABSTRAK Kata-kata kunci: Kepribadian, Struktur kepribadian, dinamika kepribadian, perkembangan kepribadian. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis novel Ayah dan Sebelas Patriot karya Andrea Hirata berdasarkan konsep-konsep kepribadian Carl Gustav Jung yakni struktur kepribadian, dinamika kepribadian, dan perkembangankepribadian. Melalui analisis kepribadian akan diketahui bentuk tingkah laku, perasaan, dan pikiran dari seorang ayah dan anak dalam berinteraksi. Hal ini mampu menggambarkan pekembangan pribadi seseorang dan pengaruh pembentukan kepribadian. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah novel Ayah dan Sebelas patriot. Data penelitian ini adalah (1) struktur kepribadian tokoh ayah dan anak dalam Novel Ayah dan Novel Sebelas Patriot karya Andrea Hirata; (2) dinamika kepribadian tokoh ayah dan anak dalam Novel Ayah dan Novel Sebelas Patriot karya Andrea Hirata; dan (3) Perkembangan kepribdaian tokoh ayah dan anak Novel Ayah dan Novel Sebelas Patriot karya Andrea Hirata. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik dokumen. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, kepribadian dalam novel Ayah dan Sebelas patriot karya Andrea Hirata menggambarkan pertama, Struktur kepribadian tokoh ayah dan anak yang menggunakan perasaan dan pikiran sebagai bentuk tingkah lakunya. Kedua, dinamika kepribadian dalam novel Ayah dan Sebelas patriot karya Andrea Hirata menggambarkan fokus menyelesaikan masalah dan pertentangan yang ada merupakan bentuk interaksi antarstruktur kepribadian, sedangkan daya aktual berupa perasaan dan perhatian sebagai bentuk energi psikis. Ketiga, perkembangan kepribadian dalam novel Ayah dan Sebelas patriot karya Andrea Hirata mengandung perkembangan kepribadian yang difokuskan dalam penyelesaian masalah. Masalah yang dihadapi akan membuat kepribadian tokoh menjadi lebih baik dalam hal sikap dan tingkah laku. Interaksi kejiwaan dan emosioanal dalam diri manusia sebagai akibat dari perkembangan kepribadian.

Kedua, dinamika kepribadian dalam novel Ayah dan Sebelas patriot karya Andrea Hirata menggambarkan fokus menyelesaikan masalah dan pertentangan yang ada merupakan bentuk interaksi antarstruktur kepribadian, sedangkan daya aktual berupa perasaan dan perhatian sebagai bentuk energi psikis. Ketiga, perkembangan kepribadian dalam novel Ayah dan Sebelas patriot karya Andrea Hirata mengandung perkembangan kepribadian yang difokuskan dalam penyelesaian masalah. Masalah yang dihadapi akan membuat kepribadian tokoh menjadi lebih baik dalam hal sikap dan tingkah laku. Gamelan literasi merupakan upaya membelajarkan masyarakat buta aksara di Dusun Tangkil, Gunungkidul melalui media Gamelan. Program ini diawali dengan identifikasi kebutuhan warga belajar, persiapan perangkat, sosialisasi, pembelajaran, serta evaluasi dan keberlanjutan program. Kegiatan ini dilakukan selama 8 kali pertemuan menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran orang dewasa kepada 30 warga belajar. Metode yang digunakan yaitu: pelatihan yang berupa ceramah, diskusi, praktek dan aksi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Kegiatan gamelan literasi sebagai upaya pemberantasan buta aksara yang berbudaya di Kecamatan Semin dilaksanakan melalui 4 tahap: tahap prapelaksanan, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap pascapelaksanaan. 2) Hasil dari pelatihan gamelan literasi, warga belajar yang semula belum dapat calistung (baca, tulis, hitung) dan belum memiliki keterampilan gamelan, saat ini sudah lancar dan mampu memainkan gamelan. Untuk menunjang kegiatan itu, telah berdiri rumah belajar gamelan literasi.

The speech act used in EFL classroom may lead to understanding or misunderstanding due to the distinct cultures between the origin of language and the users. The objective of the research were to find out speech act classification mostly used by an EFL teacher while teaching, the reason of why certain classification was preferred and the implication of the selected speech act classification toward the teaching and learning process. This research was a case study research involving an English teacher teaching an EFL class. The study uses Searle’s framework of speech act classification as the instrument. The findings of the research showed the frequency of each classification found as the following: 57% for assertive, 25 for expressive, 40% for directive, and 1% for commissive. Assertive speech acts were used mostly by the teacher because the teacher gived the students test practice and discussed it later on. The study concluded that the choice of speech acts classification determined the teaching approach and vice versa.

Abstract in the thesis is a must, even in the journal, research article, conference, or dissertation. People could decide whether they want to continue the full content in the paper through abstract. This research aims to what extent the rhetorical structure of abstracts follows the structure of their RAs in terms of IMRD structure and what rhetorical moves writers most frequently employ in the abstract sections of the Bachelor Abstract Thesis English Education Department. Corpus data was used to do the research. The document of abstracts 40 in total and were chosen from Undergraduate degree students in English Education Department at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. The abstracts were selected randomly, and it is consists of two types of concentrations in the field of education and literature. The selected abstracts were published between 2018 to 2019. The instruments were using Hyland's (2000) five moves to identify the selected abstracts' rhetorical structure. The result showed that most of the abstracts have a purpose (100%), then method (97,5%), and the result or product is 87,5%. The conclusion is only 22,5%, and the introduction was rarely used, it showed only 5%.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media alternatif sebagai upaya pelestarian dan pengenalan batik melalui boneka tangan untuk forum anak Surakarta. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Media yang akan dipakai dalam pengenalan motif batik ini didesain dan dimodifikasi dengan menambahkan unsur batik serta dengan sebuah cerita yang interaktif. Dalam penelitian ini, peserta juga dikenalkan dengan motif batik, diikutsertakan dalam pembuatan batik dan pementasan boneka tangan tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengenalan batik dan filosofinya dengan menggunakan media boneka tangan ini sesuai untuk anak-anak Forum Anak Surakarta. Pelatihan yang menyenangkan menggunakan media boneka tangan dapat membuat materi yang disampaikan dengan mudah diterima oleh anak-anak. Media bercerita dengan menggunakan boneka tangan membuat proses belajar lebih menyenangkan dan berguna untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri. Hasil yang dicapai antara lain peserta mampu mengetahui motif-motif batik dan filosofinya, memiliki kemampuan dalam membatik, mengembangkan kreativitas. Media boneka tangan juga memudahkan peserta menyerap pesan dan meningkatkan keberanian peserta.HAND PUPPETS AS AN ALTERNATIVE MEDIUM TO PRESERVE AND INTRODUCE BATIKThe objective of this study is to develop an alternative medium as an effort to preserve and introduce batik through the use of hand puppets within the Surakarta children's forum. Descriptive qualitative research method was used in this study. The puppets as the medium were designed and modified by adding batik elements depicting an interactive story which then were introduced to the research participants. These participants were also involved in the batik making process as well as in the puppet show. Findings of the study indicated that the introduction of batik and its philosophy of using hand puppets was suitable for the participants in Surakarta Children's Forum. Fun training using hand puppet medium enabled the children to receive the learning materials easily. In addition, storytelling using these puppets had created fun learning atmosphere and helped improve the children’s confidence. The results achieved included the participants’ capability in figuring out the motifs of batik and their philosophies, their ability to make batik, and their creativity improvement. The hand puppets medium also facilitated the children to absorb messages and increase their grits.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji aspek etika profetik, yakni humanisasi yang terdapat pada novel Pemimpin yang “Tuhan” karya Emha Ainun Nadjib. Penelitian ini berlandaskan pada teori sastra profetik Kuntowijoyo. Penelitian ini berbentuk deskriptif kualitatif yakni mendeskripsikan dan menggambarkan gejala fenomena yang ada. Data yang digunakan berupa data kata, frasa, kalimat dalam kutipan yang memuat humanisasi dalam novel ini. Sumber data adalah novel Pemimpin Yang “Tuhan” karya Emha Ainun Najib. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik baca dan catat. Hasil klasifikasi etika profetik dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa sastra ini berlandaskan pada terminologi-terminologi Islam dari alquran yang berjiwa transendental dan sufistik. Novel ini juga sarat dengan naura sastra profetik. Aspek humanisasi yang terkandung dalam novel tersebut ada sembilan, yaitu humanisasi dengan menyebarkan kasih sayang, humanisasi dengan menyelami kebijaksanaan, membangkitkan rasa percaya diri, toleransi, memperjuangkan tujuan pendidikan, menjaga keharmonisan, saling mengamankan, saling menyelamatkan, dan menyebarkan cinta kasih yang tercermin dalam 18 kutipan.HUMANISM IN “PEMIMPIN YANG "TUHAN" “, A NOVEL BY EMHA AINUN NADJIB: A PROPHETIC LITERARY CRITICISMThis study examines aspects of prophetic ethics, namely humanization contains in a novel entitled “Pemimpin Yang “Tuhan” ”, writen by Emha Ainun Nadjib. The analysis done within this study was based on Kuntowijoyo's prophetic literary theory. The nature of this study is descriptive qualitative as it describes the existed phenomena depicted in the novel. The data consisted of words, phrases, sentences as represented in quotes taken from the novel through in-depth reading and note taking techniques. The classification of prophetic ethics resulted that this piece of literature was mainly based on Islamic terminologies taken from the Holy Qur'an which has a transcendental and sufistic spirits. This novel is also heavily loaded with prophetic literature. There are nine aspects of humanization contained in the novel namely humanization by spreading loves, nurturing wisdom, building self-confidence, being tolerance, striving for education, maintaining harmony, protecting and saving others, and dispersing devotion to all living beings – all were reflected throughout the 18 quotes.

Aspek humanisasi yang terkandung dalam novel tersebut ada sembilan, yaitu humanisasi dengan menyebarkan kasih sayang, humanisasi dengan menyelami kebijaksanaan, membangkitkan rasa percaya diri, toleransi, memperjuangkan tujuan pendidikan, menjaga keharmonisan, saling mengamankan, saling menyelamatkan, dan menyebarkan cinta kasih yang tercermin dalam 18 kutipan.HUMANISM IN “PEMIMPIN YANG \"TUHAN\" “, A NOVEL BY EMHA AINUN NADJIB: A PROPHETIC LITERARY CRITICISMThis study examines aspects of prophetic ethics, namely humanization contains in a novel entitled “Pemimpin Yang “Tuhan” ”, writen by Emha Ainun Nadjib. The analysis done within this study was based on Kuntowijoyo's prophetic literary theory. The nature of this study is descriptive qualitative as it describes the existed phenomena depicted in the novel. The data consisted of words, phrases, sentences as represented in quotes taken from the novel through in-depth reading and note taking techniques. The classification of prophetic ethics resulted that this piece of literature was mainly based on Islamic terminologies taken from the Holy Qur'an which has a transcendental and sufistic spirits. This novel is also heavily loaded with prophetic literature. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara konformitas teman sebaya dan intensitas menonton sinetron bertema kekerasan dengan perilaku agresif siswa. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 62 siswa SMA SI Kota Jambi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala konformitas teman sebaya, skala intensitas menonton sinetron bertema kekerasan dan skala perilaku agresi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis korelasi product moment dan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan positif antara konformitas teman sebaya dengan perilaku agresi pada pelajar. Ada hubungan positif antara intensitas menonton sinetron bertema kekerasan dengan perilaku agresi pada pelajar. Secara bersama-sama ada hubungan positif antara konformitas teman sebaya dan intensitas menonton sinetron bertema kekerasan dengan perilaku agresi pada pelajar. Sumbangan efektif dari konformitas teman sebaya dan intensitas menonton sinetron bertema kekerasan dengan perilaku agresi pelajar sebesar 21,7 %, sedangkan sumbangan variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini sebesar 78,3%. Variabel lain yang tidak diikutsertakan dalam penelitian ini antara lain pengaruh lingkungan sosial, pengaruh budaya, pengaruh keluarga, pengaruh pengalaman individu, dan pengaruh kepercayaan diri.RELATIONSHIP OF PEER CONFORMITY AND INTENSITY OF WATCHING THE VIOLENT SOAP OPERAS WITH STUDENTS’ AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIORThis study aims to determine the relationship of peer conformity and intensity of watching violence theme soap operas with student aggression behavior. The research samples consisted of 62 SI high school students in Jambi City. Data collection process made use of peer conformity scale, intensity scale of watching soap operas with violence themes, and aggressive behavior scale. The data were then analyzed by using the product moment correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results revealed that there was a positive correlation between peer conformity and students’ aggressive behavior with a correlation coefficient value of ¬0.278 (p <0.05). There was a positive relationship between the intensity of watching violence theme soap operas with the students’ aggressive behavior with a correlation coefficient of 0.401 (p <0.05). Together there was a positive correlation between peer conformity and intensity of watching violence theme soap operas with the students’ aggressive behavior based on an R value of 0.466 (p <0.05). The effective contribution of the peer conformity and the intensity of watching the opera with the students’ aggressive behavior was 21.7%, while the extraneous variables contributed to 78.3%. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan Pemertahanan Bahasa Jawa di Desa Kampung Baru Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir (Kajian Sosiolinguistik). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik angket, teknik rekam, teknik wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat Desa Kampung Baru merupakan masyarakat dwibahasa. yaitu masyarakat yang mampu menggunakan lebih dari satu bahasa saat berkomunikasi, diantaranya ialah bahasa daerah Bali, Komering, Batak dan Sunda akan tetapi masyarakat Desa Kampung Baru masih mendominasi menggunakan bahasa Jawa saat berkomunikasi.Selain itu faktor pendukung yang menyebabkan bahasa Jawa dapat bertahan di desa Kampung Baru Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir Dusun 6 adalah perilaku dan sikap positif untuk bersedia menggunakan bahasa Jawa dalam kegiatan sehari-hari dan mengenalkan budaya Jawa kepada generasi muda agar mereka terus mempertahankan dan menggunakan bahasa Jawa karena merupakan ciri khas dari orang Jawa.JAVA LANGUAGE DEFENSE IN KAMPUNG BARU VILLAGE OGAN KOMERING ILIR DISTRICT (SOSIOLINGUISTIC STUDY). The purpose of this study was to describe Javanese Language Retention in Kampung Baru Village, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency (Sociolinguistic Study). The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Data collection uses questionnaire techniques, record techniques, interview techniques and observation. The results of this study indicate that the Kampung Baru Village community is a bilingual community. that is, people who are able to use more than one language when communicating, including the local languages of Bali, Komering, Batak and Sundanese, but the people of Kampung Baru Village still dominate using the Javanese language when communicating. In addition, the supporting factors that caused Javanese language to survive in Kampung Baru Village, Ogan Komering Ilir Dusun 6 Regency were behaviors and positive attitudes to be willing to use Javanese in daily activities and introduce Javanese culture to the younger generation so that they continued to maintain and use Javanese because it is a characteristic of Javanese people. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui media yang tepat digunakan sebagai sosialisasi penanggulangan pencemaran sampah sejak usia dini yang mudah diterima dan diaplikasikan secara langsung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Variabel dalam penelitian ini merupakan variabel tunggal, yaitu media sosialisasi penanggulangan pencemaran sampah. Sampling yang digunakan yaitu peserta didik kelas 5 SD sebanyak 15 peserta. Komik strip digunakan sebagai media sosialisasi dan pelatihan ini. Sosialisasi ini menggunakan pendekatan menggambar ekspresi bebas. Tahapan membuat komik strip antara lain membuat storyline (alur cerita), storyboard (sketsa gambar berdasarkan storyline), sketsa komik (komik setengah jadi), dan inking (pewarnaan). Peserta sebagai partisipan akan didampingi oleh mentor dan fasilitator.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pelatihan membuat komik strip mampu meningkatkan minat peserta dalam menyerap informasi dan melakukan gerakan motorik halus yang baik untuk perkembangan fisik serta mampu mengasah keterampilan dalam bidang seni menggambar. Imajinasi dan keterampilan peserta mengenai pengelolaan limbah akan terasah, sehingga anak-anak tergerak untuk aktif menjadi superhero yang menanggulangi pencemaran sampah melalui cara yang kreatif dan menyenangkan.THE COUNTERMEASURE AGAINST WASTE POLLUTION USING COMIC STRIP MEDIUMThis study aims to determine the right socialization medium to overcome waste pollution starting from early age that is easily accepted and can beapplied directly. A qualitative method with a descriptive approachwas used in this study. A single variablewas used as the medium for socializing waste pollution countermeasure. The samples were 15 elementary school students of the fifth grade. A comic strip was used as the medium for this socialization and training which includedan activity of drawing free expressions. The stages of making comic strips consisted of making a storyline, a storyboard (drawing sketches based on the storyline), comic sketches (semi-finished comic), and inking (colouring). The participants were guided by mentors andfacilitators. The study findingsindicated that the training of making comic strips helpedthe participants to improve their interest in absorbing information and performingfine motor movements which were good for physical development and were able to hone skills in the art of drawing. By improving theirimagination and skills regarding waste management, the children were motivated to be active–actingas superheroes who tackled waste pollution in creative and fun ways.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk ecocriticism yang direpresentasikan dalam penggambaran alam di film Doraemon-Nobita and the Green Giant Legend dan mengetahui perspektif yang dimiliki oleh tokoh yang ada dalam film tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kulitatif. Pemilihan film Doraemon & Nobita and the Green Giant Legend sebagai data primer yang kemudian akan dikaji secara lebih mendalam. Film tersebut dikaji dengan menggunakan ecocriticism dengan mengupas sebuah kritik terhadap film tersebut untuk menemukan hasil dan pembahasan baru yang terkait dengan isu-isu lingkungan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa di dalam film tersebut terdapat dua perspektif yang muncul mengenai alam dan lingkungan, yaitu anthropocentric dan ecocentric.Ayumu Watanabe mengangkat isu ini ke dalam film sebagai bentuk kritik atas apa yang telah dia lihat dan saksikan terkait perusakan alam yang terjadi di bumi. Diharapkan dengan adanya pengkajian mengenai film yang mengangkat isu ini, masyarakat lebih menyadari dan memahami bahwa alam adalah satu-satunya sumber kehidupan seluruh makhluk hidup yang ada di bumi.ECOCRITICISM STUDY IN “DORAEMON-NOBITA AND THE GREEN GIANT LEGEND” MOVIEThis study seeks to identify the form of ecocriticism as represented in the depiction of nature in “Doraemon-Nobita and the Green Giant Legend” movie and to describethe perspectives of the characters existed in the movie. The method used was qualitative method. The movie was selected as a primary data source since it contained ecocriticism discoursewhich then be examined indepth using ecocriticism analysis,a type of tools used tocriticize movies in order to find new results and discussion with regards to environmental concerns. The results revealed that there were two emerged perspectives vis-a-vis nature and the environment: anthropocentric and ecocentric. Ayumu Watanabe raised these issueswithinthe movie as a form of criticism of what he had seen and witnessed concerning the destruction of nature that occurred on the earth. Such analysis on movies was hoped to raise people’s awareness on these issues and to make them realizethat nature is the only source of life for all living beings on earth.

Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kulitatif. Pemilihan film Doraemon & Nobita and the Green Giant Legend sebagai data primer yang kemudian akan dikaji secara lebih mendalam. Film tersebut dikaji dengan menggunakan ecocriticism dengan mengupas sebuah kritik terhadap film tersebut untuk menemukan hasil dan pembahasan baru yang terkait dengan isu-isu lingkungan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa di dalam film tersebut terdapat dua perspektif yang muncul mengenai alam dan lingkungan, yaitu anthropocentric dan ecocentric.Ayumu Watanabe mengangkat isu ini ke dalam film sebagai bentuk kritik atas apa yang telah dia lihat dan saksikan terkait perusakan alam yang terjadi di bumi. Diharapkan dengan adanya pengkajian mengenai film yang mengangkat isu ini, masyarakat lebih menyadari dan memahami bahwa alam adalah satu-satunya sumber kehidupan seluruh makhluk hidup yang ada di bumi.ECOCRITICISM STUDY IN “DORAEMON-NOBITA AND THE GREEN GIANT LEGEND” MOVIEThis study seeks to identify the form of ecocriticism as represented in the depiction of nature in “Doraemon-Nobita and the Green Giant Legend” movie and to describethe perspectives of the characters existed in the movie. The method used was qualitative method. The movie was selected as a primary data source since it contained ecocriticism discoursewhich then be examined indepth using ecocriticism analysis,a type of tools used tocriticize movies in order to find new results and discussion with regards to environmental concerns. The results revealed that there were two emerged perspectives vis-a-vis nature and the environment: anthropocentric and ecocentric. Ayumu Watanabe raised these issueswithinthe movie as a form of criticism of what he had seen and witnessed concerning the destruction of nature that occurred on the earth.
