This community development activity aims to provide education on business financial management to street vendors at Pasar Raya in Salatiga City. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the government implemented regulation on Community Activity Restrictions, which resulted in the Pasar Raya being empty of visitors, resulting in a drastic drop in sales for street vendors. Most street vendors do not understand business financial management and have a debt to meet their primary needs. Education is carried out by identifying problems, formulating approach methods, planning work procedures, and conducting business financial management education. In addition, it is also directed to avoid debt on online loans that do not have official permission and get used to saving. After this education is carried out, street vendors better understand business financial management, will no longer be in debt on online loans that do not have official permits, try to save money to become bankable business actors for business continuity in the future.

Zakat and taxes are two different obligations that must be carried out by Muslims in Indonesia. Zakat is a manifestation of obedience to religion, while taxes are obedience to the state. To reduce this double burden, the government enacted Law Number 23 of 2011 concerning Zakat Management which states that zakat paid can be deducted from taxable income. However, this law is not so popular that not many people take advantage of the ease of its impact. Most people do not understand well the existence of regulations that stipulate that the income zakat that has been paid can be a deduction from gross income in the calculation of income tax. The focus of this community service activity (PKM) is to provide understanding to the community about these provisions so that they can take into account zakat in determining taxable income, which will then indirectly reduce the taxes that must be paid. The stages in this PKM activity are: 1) Field research. 2) Preparation of activity plans, 3) Counselling, 4) Evaluation. The results of the activity indicate a change in participants' understanding of zakat as a deduction from taxable income, which can be seen from the indicators on the evaluation instrument. The outputs of this community service activity are: 1) publication in journals or proceedings with the aim that the topic of tax deduction zakat is more widely spread and known to the public; 2) the creation of a booklet about zakat as a tax deduction with a simple narration and attractive and easy-to-understand pictures. These two forms of output are expected to be able to help socialize so that the topic of tax deduction zakat is increasingly popular.

The deadly Coronavirus, SARS-COV-2, which is known as COVID-19 has caused global panic as it has affected multiple countries and millions of people around the world. Despite the existence of vaccines, every country in the world is trying their best to limit the spread of the virus. However, as the active cases starts multiplying each day, keeping track of the data of each person living in the world is becoming a much difficult task. The management of the subdistrict “Gunung” in Jakarta, Indonesia had mentioned that there is a lack of automated systems to maintain data. Therefore, with Information Systems and the technology we have nowadays, we are able to develop something that could aid us in keeping accurate and detailed information of the patients and unaffected citizens. Using PHP, HTML, JavaScript and MySQL, a website was developed to keep track of the citizen of Kelurahan Gunung, while also keeping track of the swab test results. The aim of proposed solution to the problem can be described as to present additional information support regarding the pandemic for population data and to present an information system for government and residents in Kel. Gunung regarding the assistance services available during the pandemic.

Many students have a goal to achieve success by getting a better education, one of the countries that is a destination for Indonesian students to study abroad is China, but the covid-19 that was endemic at that time in Taiwan made Indonesian students try to adapt to the situation. government policies and culture. The study entitled "Indonesian Student Culture Shock in the Republic of China During the Covid-19 Pandemic", aims to explain how students communicate during the Covid-19 outbreak and express students' feelings and hopes in conditions of self-quarantine and social distancing due to COVID-19. The theories used in this study include interpersonal communication, culture shock theory, phenomenological theory, the hybrid sociocultural framework theory and communication adaptation theory. This study uses a phenomenological method, a qualitative descriptive approach with a constructivism paradigm. Data was collected by interviewing four Indonesian students studying in Taiwan at two different universities. The results of the study found that the adaptations made by students from Indonesia regarding the new culture in Taiwan and the current epidemic of Covid-19 will lead them to a better communication relationship or vice versa. In terms of adapting to the new culture in Taiwan, students from Indonesia have begun to be accepted by the new environment and have felt that they have succeeded in adapting, which means they have good communication relationships with Taiwanese students and other local communities.

Serve Acute Respiratory Syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV2) outbreak from the December 2019 in China has brought over 220 million infected cases and caused over 4.55 million of death. COVID-19 pandemic till now destroy the human health, communication and economics, uncountable loss and huge influence greatly impact this world. In the past period, many cities were locked down in most countries. The status significantly change the life style and business condition. Available alert systems for the prevention of COVID-19 infection are very critical for a country, and reduce the threat to life. Fortunately, Taiwan empowers the management and control of immigration to stop the outbreak of COVID-19 effectively. No lock down or any influence for this society until the middle of May 2021. A missing point from the flight crews brought a wave of local transmission on 15th May. The highest infected cases were 550 per day (total population of Taiwan is 23 million). Fortunately, this outbreak is well controlled under the self-awareness of all citizens, wearing face mask, sanitary behavior promotion (proper cleaning and washing hands), vaccination, and quick and correct pandemic investigation and proper isolation successfully reduce the infected cases to 1-3 per day in two months. Till today, 16103 infected cases and 839 cases are found (15th September). From the past experience, community empowering is very important to prevent the outbreak and continuous transmission of COVID-19. From the science view point, except vaccine, some technology materials could show great potential on this pandemic. Electrolyzed water (EW) is a new type of cleaning and disinfecting agent obtained by electrolysis with dilute sodium chloride solution, it has low cost and harm to the human body and is also environmentally friendly. The anode produces acid electrolyzed water (AEW) and is mainly used to inhibit bacterial growth and disinfect. The cathode provides basic electrolyzed water (BEW), which is implemented to clean the surface of objects. EW is a powerful multifunctional antibacterial agent with a wide range of applications in the medicine, agriculture, and food industry. Studies in vitro and in vivo show that it has an inhibitory effect on pathogenic bacteria and viruses. Therefore, EW is used for the prevention of chronic diseases, and in recent years it has been discovered can be used to against infectious viruses. Not only animal experiments, but also clinical trials have also obtained more and more relevant research results, such as accelerating wound healing, oral health care, anti-obesity, lowering blood sugar, anti-cancer and anti-infectious viral diseases, etc. This chapter will summarize the application of EW in treating bacteria, viruses and the prevention of infectious and chronic diseases.

Covid-19 pandemic have quite significant impact on the Indonesia education especially for Early Chilhood Education (ECE). The Indonesian government made a new policy on education including encouraging online learning for students. This model which is strongly influenced by current technological trends as part of the 4.0 industrial revolution. For example: the using of sosial media channel in teaching learning activity. Based on design thinking process, this paper proposes a practical animation video “Kisah Khoiri” to suppoert teaching learning activity. This research used Design Thinking method through experiments and direct trials with data collected qualitatively through deep interviews with key community figures and direct observation of the sample community. The Semantic Differential method used to understand the response captured by users of the “Kisah Khoiri” animation video. This research is very important to help teachers to deliver the knowledge through animation video. Hopefully, this research can be used as a reference to published animation to support teaching learning activity relatively productive during the pandemic.

There are many ways that community groups do to survive during the pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus. One way to survive is done by one of the community groups to work together by planting vegetables that can be consumed as daily food ingredients that are filling and nutritious. Over time, the community realized that its strategy to survive could also be materially profitable. Self-harvested vegetable products can be developed into commercial products with a marketing strategy that combines websites and merchandise strategies. One of the main problems faced by the community is that the community has not adequately understood the strategy for managing and developing a website. However, the community already knows the usefulness of the website and how website development can benefit the community, not only in terms of selling vegetables but also community awareness that is easier to build. Furthermore, with public awareness, more parties will know the products produced by the community. Public awareness will also positively impact the sustainability of the business ecosystem in the community. The existence of synergies, the right strategy in managing and developing websites, collaboration with the community, and community awareness will have a good impact, especially for the community, not only in growing businesses to survive but also in being an example for others communities.
