More and more motorcycles appear on the roads, which can be seen, for example, on the basis of statistic data presented by the Central Statistical Office. The data shows that every year there are more newly registered motorcycles and that there are many road accidents involving two-wheelers. The following work presents a review of the existing literature related to crash tests of motorcycles and dummies. The paper presents the standards according to which the tests are carried out, various crash tests and the stands on which the tests were carried out. The paper presents and describes a dummy used in motorcycle crash tests and presents the differences between its construction and the construction of the Hybrid III dummy.

Electric vehicles are gaining popularity all the time. As a result, they have become the subject of much research. The purpose of this work is to analyze the energy consumption of the vehicle depending on the specificity of the designated routes. For this purpose, three routes with different types of traffic have been designated. Then, the research test vehicle, together with the necessary equipment, made runs on the indicated roads. This made it possible to record the basic parameters related to the movement, such as: instantaneous velocity, acceleration, travel time and route length. Based on the collected data, simulation tests were carried out in the AVL Cruise program. The obtained results show the parameters related to energy consumption on each route. The amount of input and output energy from the battery, energy consumption per 1 km of the route and the course of changes in the battery current or changes in the battery charge status were determined. The conducted research allowed to obtain specific conclusions and propose further research directions.

This Currently, Communication is important, citizens can communicate with the state through different means. One of the access points is Central Government Portal (CGP) that serves as access to e-government services. Primary survey was aimed on the most used access points of our e-Government. The results of the survey have shown that slovensko.sk is the most used portal. On the other, other portals are also frequently used what raises a question what way of identification is more citizen friendly and whether the current state of identification is appropriate for everyone.

The paper deals with the application of IoT (Internet of Things) technologies for localization or other monitoring functions for logistic units using the IoT element. At the beginning of the paper, we analysed currently the most used technologies for localization and monitoring of logistic units. Then, we described the basic requirements for LPWA (Low-Power Wide-Area) technologies, including the information they can collect and provide. The main part of the paper is devoted to the design and testing of IoT solutions based on one of the LPWAN (Low-Power Wide-Area Network) technologies for a real logistics company. The conclusion of the paper is dedicated to testing the evaluation and prognosis of further use of LPWAN technologies.

Businesses play a key role in the ecosystem in terms of their impact on economic, social, and environmental aspects. Businesses should perceive these aspects equally and thus support the achievement of sustainable development goals. The paper aims to characterize and compare sustainable strategies in selected companies in terms of implementation of sustainable development goals and the concept of a triple bottom line.

The purpose of this paper is to define interoperability, as well as to provide a theoretical overview of interoperability and legislation bound to this term, which affects its implementation in practice in Slovakia. Overview consists of categorizing interoperability and identifying its degrees, discerning its security aspects, analysing benefits and drawbacks of this concept in information systems. In the paper is also stated meaning of interoperability and application in the different areas of use. There is also stated the view of different authors about how to look at the interoperability, with explained meanings of its different types.

Background: In actual world the ability to analyse multifaceted issues and interpret results is one of the most important competences for creating and evaluating decision-making variants. The increase in the importance of these competences is determined by many factors of socioeconomic life, including the development of the information society, with a particular focus on the dynamic generation and processing and analysis of large amounts of information (BigData) using, inter alia, cloud computing necessary to support processes e.g. in the implementation of transport services, virtual and augmented reality, the industrial Internet of things, the development of industry 4.0, which provides the basis for the creation and integration of conjugated information and operational technologies, creation of cyber physical systems, cybersecurity issues, implementation of artificial intelligence or block chain. Persons making decisions, assumptions and scenarios need to use techniques and tools that describe the facilities and phenomena studied in a comprehensive manner, while allowing for the rapid and practical preparation of development and decision-making plans. This is especially important in the area of logistics and transport services. Objectives: This study aimed to explore possibilities of application of multi-criterial mathematical methods in the area of logistics and transport services. Method: An analysis of multi-criteria decision methods ́ algorithms was used to identify the most convenient methods. Results: Practical examples of identified methods are provided in vehicle distribution systems. Conclusion: This study revealed that the use of ELECTRE, AHP, PROMETHEE and UTA methods is the most convenient in the investigated area.

Intensity of use is one of the most important parameters of vehicle operation. It is expressed as the number of kilometres travelled by a car within a specified period of time (day, month, or year). The intensity of use affects vehicle life, the costs and the profits from transportation services, drivers' working time, and other parameters of car operation. For that reason, analysis of data associated with the intensity of vehicle use may be instrumental in the evaluation of a given transport system. The paper presents and discusses the results of statistical analyses of data related to the intensity of use of delivery trucks in the Poczta Polska company in Lublin.
