The article examines the creative personality and his parallel construction with the literary hero and the use in Western and Eastern literature. The concept of a creative personality is a literary category, where there are leading the biographical and psychological factors. Nevertheless, the author is one of the factors in the perception of life events, their expression in high poetic and prosaic forms unlike “I”, especially in the choice of images and the formation of artistic heights in their expression. The creative personality is reflected through the artistic image (a character, a hero) and the characteristics of the creative style of the personality are stable. In this regard, emphasizing that a creative person is an artistic image, it is possible to determine the presence of a creative person in different cases of images, portraits and characters, as well as in a series of events in which the character participates. In English, the concept of a creative person translates as “creative person” and means a more creative, skilled person. This phrase is used more as a psychological term and in literature it is not understood as a writer. The concept of a writer is called “writer” or “author”. A creative person is a representative of a talent capable of creating high artistic patterns, unlike the author and writer in terms of terminology. The terms “writer” and “author” can be applied to any author of a work, but a creative person differs from ordinary authors and writers in terms of worldview, sense of poetic principles and power of expression. The “personality” of the writer, his expression is not only a peculiar view of life, its aesthetic development, but also a certain attitude towards it. These are also ideas, artistic concepts that form an integral part of literary works. This article also discusses the use of concepts such as creative “I” and biographical “I”. It reflects the problem of the creative personality and the hero in the works of English authors George Byron, Walter Scott and the most prominent representatives of Uzbek jadid literature Cholpon, Kadyri and Fitrat.

Mirzo Abdulkadir Bedil is a poet who had a strong influence on the Uzbek literary environment of the XIX-XX centuries. His works have been diligently read by Uzbek enlighteners, especially Uzbek Jadid intellectuals. Those who could read Bedil's works well and make comment on their content were given a "bedilkhan" name. It is also known that Bedil's works were skillfully copied by calligraphers who lived in the territory of modern Uzbekistan, and these calligraphers were given the status of "bedilnavis". These facts justify the fact that Bedil's work was extremely popular among the Uzbek people. In addition, Bedil's work had an impact on the work of Uzbek national Renaissance literature. It is known that Bedil is a poet who renewed the content of the Eastern classical literature. He, in contrast to his predecessors, brought social issues to the forefront in his works and ghazals. Because of the time and environment in which he lived, the Muslim community was in deep crisis, and as a result, various calamities were expected to befall the people. Bedil, as a true human being, was deeply distressed by this situation, and his grief was transferred to his works. This case in Bedil's work was later noted in the works of Turkestan poets such as Amir, Mukimi, Furkat, Zavki, who also described the acute social problems of the people in their works. The reason for such a situation can be attributed to the fact that these poets were inspired by the ideas of Bedil. The ideas reflected in Bedil's work have a strong influence on the work of modern Uzbek intellectuals. It can be said that the genesis of the idea of Jadidism goes back to Bedil's work, since he sharply criticized in his works the bigotry and backwardness that had taken root in the spiritual and enlightenment spheres of the Indian subcontinent of his time, and advocated radical reforms in this matter. It can be seen that the views of the poet, which rose to the level of doctrine in this regard, were later strongly recognized by the Jadid reformers who were his followers. The following article discusses the effect of Bedil's work on the Uzbek literature, especially Jadid literature, based on the analysis of Uzbek Jadid intellectuals’ works such as Ahmad Donish, Sadriddin Aini, Abdurauf Fitrat, Miyon Buzruk.

Among the language units there are also words that have undergone phonetic changes in pronunciation. From a phonostylistic point of view, the pronunciation of such words have additional, i.e. connotative meanings. Phonetically modified words are divided into two, that is, the increase and decrease of speech sound in the pronunciation of words. The phenomenon of so-called sound acquisition includes the phenomena of prosthesis, epenthesis, epithesis. The so-called sound omission includes aphaeresis, syncope, apocope, elision. The article reveals the phonostylistic meanings associated with the omission of speech sounds in pronunciation of words in the comparison of the English and Uzbek languages. Connotation is an extra notional essence included in the semantics of language units, which expresses the emotionally assessed and methodologically defined attitude of the subject of speech to the being. Such relationships are manifested in the connotative meanings that occur in the pronunciation of words with the phenomenon of sound omission, such as aphaeresis, syncope, apocope, elision. In particular, because the pronunciation of apheresis has certain connotative meanings such as speech facility, gentleness, delicacy, they are actively used in the speech of the characters in the artistic image. The phonopragmatic phenomenon of syncope has been used not only in poetry but also in prose and drama. The phenomenon of apocope is characteristic of colloquial speech in both languages, revealing that they have a number of connotative meanings, such as love, caress, intimacy, diminution. The connotative meanings of the phenomenon elision in the comparative languages have been studied on the basis of examples taken from the fiction in both languages. Thus, the connotative meanings formed by the phenomenon of sound omission in the pronunciation of words are similar from point of variety and versatility. They express a number of connotative meanings in speech, such as brevity, excitement, rhythmic tone, rhyme adjustment, gentleness, passion.

This article reflects the experience of a comprehensive systematic and phenomenological study of computer and the Internet jargon, which is now widely recognized as an important tool and subject. One of the unique features of computer and the Internet terminology is the emergence of computer jargon specific to their users. After all, special vocabulary is only used in industry and is self-explanatory. This research is devoted to the study of the sources of computer and the Internet jargon in Uzbek and English. In fact, the language of science and technology emerges and develops on the basis of the general literary language. The structure of the language of the science and technology obeys the rules of the language, the main types of language units are expressed in it. The relationship between the language of the science and technology and the general literary language has been analyzed by the author in the way of analyzing the jargons of the computer and the Internet systematically. That is to say, it has been undertaken in the examples of the literary language relations. The literary language and the language of the science and technology practically use the commonly-used words and scientific lexical units. The terminological lexical units are also connected with the general literary language, which means that it gives the chance of representing and naming newly appeared notions. Practical means of creating the terms are determined in the process as well. Meanwhile, professional jargons are also enriched by means of non-professionally-used terminological lexical units in its turn. Before analyzing the linguistic features of computer and the Internet jargon, we considered it necessary to analyze the terms/terminology, computer and the Internet terms, theoretical views given to them by linguists and experts in this field. In the modern English and Uzbek languages jargons are widely used in terms of many concepts related to computer and the Internet activities.

Socio-political discourse is a text that describes socio-political events and includes extralinguistic, pragmatic, socio-cultural and other factors. The informative, influencing and manipulative functions of this discourse are implemented through variety of language tools that are fixed in the language and that are created by subjects to describe each specific situation. Several problems, such as linguistic, textual, extralinguistic issues, problems related to the ethical, political and cultural components of the original text and translation, the expression of the author's intention, and many other problems may arise in the process of socio-political translation . Some of them can appear because of underestimating both the lexical and cultural differences between the source language and the translated one by a translator/interpreter. The translator of a socio-political text must have language skills, subject knowledge, research skills, critical thinking, know the political situation in both the source and target languages, perform a communicative and ideological function in sociopolitical translation, have document competence, competencies related to the development of translation strategies, and digital literacy. The current article presents an analysis of lexical units that reflect the linguistic and cultural characteristics in the source language and present the greatest difficulty in translation. Linguistic and cultural problems of translation are associated with culturally specific features that exist in the source language. The solution of translation problems of a linguocultural nature is provided by correct perception of the received information, identification of linguoculturals in the original text and subsequent presentation of the main content without significant loss of information, or with a slight expansion of the translation text.

Uzbekistan is one of the most active countries in the migration process. In this process, she participates as a donor country. The problem of migrants is directly related to economic and political factors. However, the media, especially online publications, play a special role in shaping attitudes towards him. Analytical articles of Uzbek researchers and foreign publications on this topic were chosen as a theoretical basis for the work. The article discusses topical articles of leading online publications such as Kun.uz, Daryo.uz, Qalampir.uz Analysis and synthesis of the general research methodology were used as methodological tools. The article examines the attitude of Internet publications to this process, the degree of disclosure of this topic, the role of Internet publications and modern technologies in the process and coverage of this process. In addition to labor migrants, the issue of “brain drain” was also covered in online publications. The problem of “refugees” was not ignored either, and it seems that it has not been widely disseminated in Uzbek Internet publications. The publications are dedicated to Russian labor migrants, and the materials are full of sympathy for them. It was studied how the situation of labor migrants in a pandemic is reflected in Internet publications. Migration is mainly covered in the news genre, followed by interviews and analytical articles. According to the results of the article, Uzbek Internet publications have made significant progress in this area in recent years (3 years). It has become clear that they are taking a broader and more open approach to the problem of migration and are listening to the plight of migrants. However, it was also noted that the role of bloggers is different from that of online publications. If the problem of refugees in the European media began to attract more serious attention after the tragic death of Aylan Kurdi, in the Uzbek media the situation intensified after the tragedy in Aktobe.
