Protein is the main nutrient needed at the beginning of life, especially babies, but many things that cause the baby cannot be breastfed by his mother. The alternative is to give cow milk as a substitute for ASI. This study aims to determined the differences in protein levels and what protein levels were found in breast milk and formula cow's milk for children aged 0-6 months in Jember Regency. The kjehdahl method was selected, namely destruction, distillation, and titration to determined protein levels in breast milk and formula milk. From the results of the experiment, it was found that protein levels were 0.28%, 0.36% and 0.17% for formula A, B and ASI milk. The results of the SPSS analysis test using the T test showed a significance value of 0,189 (p0.05). These results indicate that there are no differences in the levels of protein contained in formula milk and breast milk.Keywords: breast milk, formula milk, protein content, kjehdahl method.

Escherichia coli producing Extended Spectrum Beta Lactamases (ESBLs) can turn off the cephalosporin third and fourth generation and monobactam (aztreonam). E.coli producers ESBLs who encoded by TEM genes can hydrolyzed ampicillin, cephalontin, and cephazolin. The purpose of this research is to identify the existence of TEM genes from some space at RSUD Dr. Sooetomo Surabaya which has never been previously reported. The kind of research that used is observational descriptive with the approach genetic molecule. About thirty isolate clinical E.coli ESBLs producers of urine patients in January and February 2014 done with amplification of PCR, electrophoresis, and the result visualized on agarose gel 1.5%. The result was ten isolates (30%) positively containing TEM genes and most common to find in the Interna Department.

Cervical cancer is the number one cause of death in Indonesian women. Cervical cancer is a malignant tumor that grows inside the cervix / cervix is the lowest part of the uterus that attaches to the top of the vagina. The high number of cases is due to limited access to screening, treatment and lack of information and services to the disease. This cervical cancer can be detected early by doing pap smaer examination.This study aims to determine the relationship between the knowledge level of cervical cancer and its prevention measures in women of childbearing age in Kabupatn Gresik East Java.Design The research used is descriptive, data collection using questionnaires given to women participants counseling in Gresik district of East Java with the total population of 68 respondents and the number of samples were 53 respondents, the selection of respondents based on age is fertile age (15-46 years), married and sexually active.The result of this research by using chi square test showed that there was no significant correlation between age with cervical cancer prevention at post counseling (ρ = 0.187 α = 0.05), there was a significant correlation between level of knowledge with precancement of cervical cancer at post counseling (ρ = 0.025 α = 0.05).It is hoped that this research can be a reference for health workers in counseling about cervical cancer in women of childbearing age throughout Indonesia, and suggest that people can increase their knowledge about servical cancer and can take precautions by avoiding the risk factors of cervical cancer.Keywords : Knowledge of cervical cancer, cervical cancer risk factor, Prevention of cervical cancer

The aim of this study was to know the influence of citric acid addition on teak leaf (Tectona grandis Linn.f.) extraction to the physical properties of sheer lipstick. Physical properties of sheer lipstick include organoleptic test and pH test. The result data for organoleptic test of sheer lipstick color using teak leaves extracted with 3% citric acid addition (F1) was yielded pink, 5% (F2) was red and 7% (F3) was dark red. The organoleptic test of the aroma from three formulas has the same particular odor of essence strawberry. Data of pH test result from three formulations of sheer lipstick using teak leaves extracted with 3% citric acid (F1) was 3,867 ± 0,115, 5% (F2) was 3,467 ± 0,208 and 7% (F3) was 3,233 ±0,057. Data analysis of pH using One Way Anova obtained significance value 0,004 (p 0,05) therefore can be interpreted that there was significant difference of pH from all formulation. From the results it can be concluded that the preparation sheer lipstick using teak leaf extract with addition of citric acid 3%, 5% and 7% influence physical properties of color and pH, but didn’t influence odor.Keywords: citric acid, teak leaf, sheer lipstick

Banana peel is a material that can be used as a natural antibacterial because of its secondary metabolites content. The present study aimed to evaluate antibacterial activity of ethanol 96% extracted from banana (Musa paradisiaca L) peel against Escherichia coli. Result of phytochemical screening indicated that banana peel extract has alkaloid, flavonoid (tannin), and saponin compound that can act as antibacterial. Banana peel extract showed antibacterial activity that was proved by clear zone formed around disk paper. Sample of 64% extract concentration had the largest inhibition zone (9.6 mm) compared to sample of 16% and 32% concentration, inhibition zone of which was 4.4 mm and 6.26 respectively. One Way Anova analysis showed that sample of 64% concentration was significantly different from negative control, 16%, and 32% concentration. Nevertheless, there was no significant difference between 16% and 32% concentration.

Water pumpkin (Lagenaria siceria) is a useful plant in Indonesian. People used water pumpkin flesh as a drug wound, especially as wound burning. This study was prove the activity of water pumpkin flesh extract as wound burning in male rats Wistar strain. The method in this research used experimental. This study used 25 male rats Wistar strain divided into 5 groups. The positive control group was given bioplacenton, the negative control group was given CMC-Na base gel, the other group was given water pumpkin gel extract at doses 2.5%, 5% and 7.5%. compount of water pumpkin extract are flavonoid and saponin. This compount have activity as a burn medicine in male rats wistar strain. At activity level 2.5% has activity 40,06%, at dose 5% has activity 49,75%, and at dose 7.5% has activity 60,11%. Water pumpkin gel extract at 2.5%, 5%, 7.5% dose had different activity with negative control group with CMC-Na gel base, but no significant difference (sig 0,05) 25%, 50%, 75%.Keyword : Healing burn medicine, Water Pumpkin, and male rats wistar strain.

This study aims to investigate effect of variation storage temperature on the physical stability of amoxicillin suspension. The physical stability of the amoxicillin suspension included organoleptic, pH, viscosity and volumes of flocculation and deflocculation sedimentation. The research method used true experimental design method with pre-test and post-test control group design. The sample used amoxicillin suspension with temperature storage variation were cold temperature, room temperature and warm temperature. The results of research data on physical stability of organoleptic were processed compared with the condition before storage. The results of research data on physical stability of pH, viscosity and volume of flocculation sedimentation were analyzed using One Way Annova. From the organoleptic suspension of amoxicillin there is significant difference. Data using SPSS with One Way Anova method. All samples at amoxicillin suspension pH with variation of storage temperature got significance value of p0,05, stability of pH has a difference. Viscosity of amoxicillin suspension with variation of storage temperature, the significance value of p0.05, the viscosity physical stability has a significant difference. In flocculation of amoxicillin suspension with variation of storage temperature, the significance value of p0.05 means flocculation in the has a significant difference. In this study the amoxicillin control suspension and all temperature storage did not occur deflocculation.Keywords: Physical stability, Amoxicillin, Suspension
本研究旨在探讨不同贮存温度对阿莫西林悬浮液物理稳定性的影响。阿莫西林悬浮液的物理稳定性包括感官稳定性、pH、粘度、絮凝沉降量和脱絮沉降量。研究方法采用真实验设计方法,采用前测和后测对照组设计。样品采用阿莫西林悬浮液,贮存温度变化为低温、室温和常温。对感官产品物理稳定性的研究结果与贮藏前的条件进行了对比处理。采用单因素方差分析(One Way anova)对絮凝沉降物的pH、粘度和体积的物理稳定性进行了分析。从阿莫西林的感官悬浮液来看,有显著差异。数据采用SPSS统计分析,单因素方差分析。所有样品在阿莫西林悬浮液的pH值随贮存温度的变化均达到显著值p0, 0.05, pH稳定性有差异。阿莫西林悬浮液的粘度随贮存温度的变化,其显著性值为p0.05,其粘度物理稳定性有显著性差异。阿莫西林悬浮液的絮凝作用随贮存温度的变化,显著性值为p0.05,说明其絮凝作用存在显著性差异。在本研究中,阿莫西林控制悬浮液和所有温度储存均未发生脱絮凝。关键词:物理稳定性,阿莫西林,悬浮液

The purpose of this study was to determine the physical properties of theophylline floating tablet formulation with HPMC as matrix. Floating tablets of theophylline is manufactured by direct compression. Composition per tablet formulation consisting of theophylline 270 mg, HPMC, avicel, magnesium stearate, and sodium bicarbonate. The results of data showed average of tablet weight uniformity 501mg, tablet hardness 6,99 kg, tablet friability 0,593%, disintegration time of tablets 738 seconds, floating lag time (FLT) 584,3 seconds and floating duration time (FDT) more than 8 hours. Floating tablet formulation of theophylline resulted in a good physical test.Keyword: floating, theophylline, HPMC, tablet

Floating tablets of theophylline is manufactured by direct compression. Composition per tablet formulation consisting of theophylline 270 mg, HPMC, avicel, magnesium stearate, and sodium bicarbonate. The results of data showed average of tablet weight uniformity 501mg, tablet hardness 6,99 kg, tablet friability 0,593%, disintegration time of tablets 738 seconds, floating lag time (FLT) 584,3 seconds and floating duration time (FDT) more than 8 hours. Methyl Prednisolone Injection is a type of corticosteroid drug with the works being categorized adrenokortikoid, anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressant . The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Methyl prednisolone injection against dengue patient's recovery. This reseach was conducted in February in which the peak of endemic dengue. This reseach uses posttest design with the method of data collection is done by observation of secondary data, that is Methyl Prednisolone therapy injection of the patient's medical record and performed with the processing and tabulation system diagram and analysis using SPSS. From the 13 dengue patients were sampled study concluded that administration of Methyl Prednisolone injection affect total thrombosis and not affect temperature body of patient's recovery.

Antioxidants are compounds that can inhibit oxidation reactions with the free radicals and molecules are highly reactive. According to the previous research, edamame (Glycin max (L)Merril) plant is one of the plants that contains isoflavon compound that serves as an antioxidant. This study aims to determine the antioxidant activity of edamame extracts. This study is an experimental study. Edamame beans extract obtained by remaceration during 24 hours using 96% ethanol. The concentration of edamame beans extract were make different concentration from 90 ppm, 121,3 ppm, 143 ppm, 173,1 ppm. The extract then added with 0,02 g of DPPH free radicals that have been disolved in 100 mL of 96% ethanol. Those solutions were measured at wavelength 516,5 nm by an UV-Vis spectrophotometer. Vitamin C used as positive control. The result of Antioxidant activity of edamame beans extract has IC50value of 177,2 ppm and Vitamin C as a control has a IC50value 0,18 ppm.It means that 177,2 ppm of edamame beans extract classified as low antioxidant.Keywords : edamame beans (Glycin max L Merril, Antioxidant activity, DPPH method
抗氧化剂是一种能抑制自由基氧化反应的化合物,具有高活性。根据以往的研究,毛豆(Glycin max (L)Merril)植物是一种含有异黄酮化合物的植物,具有抗氧化剂的作用。本研究旨在测定毛豆提取物的抗氧化活性。这项研究是一项实验性研究。用96%的乙醇再发酵24小时得到的毛豆提取物。毛豆提取物的浓度分别为90 ppm、121 ppm、3 ppm、143 ppm、173 ppm、1 ppm。然后在提取液中加入0.02 g溶解于100 mL 96%乙醇中的DPPH自由基。用紫外-可见分光光度计在波长516,5 nm处测量这些溶液。维生素C作为阳性对照。毛豆提取物的抗氧化活性ic50值为177.2 ppm,维生素C作为对照的ic50值为0.18 ppm。也就是说,毛豆提取物中的177.02 ppm属于低抗氧化剂。关键词:毛豆;抗氧化活性;DPPH法
