The article highlights the issues of researching the possibilities of educating tolerance among younger schoolchildren. The diagnostic measuring material is characterized to determine the level of formation of this personality quality, as well as to determine possible "risk zones". It is concluded that the process of developing tolerance in children of primary school age needs constant diagnostics. As a tool for measuring the existing level of tolerance, the diagnostic materials, criteria and indicators of tolerance given in the article can be used.

The article discusses the problem of implementing the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of Primary General Education for the formation of universal educational activities for younger students. The influence of didactic word games on the formation of the ability of younger students to communicate productively with peers is considered: to raise questions, discuss joint actions, take into account the characteristics and interests of partners in the game. Examples of didactic word games are given that contribute to the formation of three types of communication: interaction with a partner; taking into account the position of the interlocutor or partner in activities; communication aimed at ensuring cooperation.

The article deals with the formation of the prerequisites for financial literacy among children of primary school age as an urgent problem of modern primary education. On the example of the general developmental program for improving financial literacy "Orel i Reshka", used in the course of extracurricular activities, as well as within the profile shift of a summer health camp, the features of the formation of initial skills and abilities of competent financial behavior in children are revealed.

The publication provides an explanation regarding the construction by the teacher of a system for monitoring and evaluating the planned educational results of fourth-graders when they master the content of the subject “Fundamentals of Religious Cultures and Secular Ethics” (FRCSE). The question of an elementary school teacher from Khabarovsk is answered by Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, professor N.F. Vinogradova. In accordance with the provisions of the Law "On Education in the Russian Federation", an educational organization has the right to independently choose a system for current monitoring of progress, intermediate certification, as well as the forms, frequency and procedure for its implementation. Recommendations for the organization of monitoring activities are contained in the updated Federal State Educational Standard for Primary General Education. In the article, the author analyzes the texts of the ABC book from the standpoint of educational opportunities. Examples of methodological methods of working with the proverbs presented in the ABC book are given, which are of great importance for understanding by first-graders the purpose of small folklore genres that contribute to the development of the moral qualities of a growing personality. The content of each lesson is devoted to a particular topic. The article describes the experience of teaching pedagogical rhetoric as part of the subject of the culture of native Russian speech. The problem of the professional competence of the teacher of preschool and primary education in the field of speech activity is raised. The author briefly characterizes the history of the development of pedagogical rhetoric. A significant difference is emphasized in the quality of the language training of a teacher, educator and children, as well as ways to overcome this gap in the process of joint speech work. The styles and genres of speech inherent in the teacher as a carrier of the speech profession are characterized, methods and algorithms for their development are proposed. Additional sources of knowledge about listening and speaking as oral forms of speech of a teacher and a child, as well as speech samples from works of children's literature are named.
