Quality outcomes from vocational education and training (VET) are fundamental to ensuring a skilled workforce and supporting a productive economy. The quality of vocational training from the demand’s perspective is defined as meeting the customer specification, needs or requirements. Using the method of Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Multiple Regression Analysis to get the analytical results of 275 respondents as graduates of University of Transport and Communication, University of Transport Technology (the two universities training on transportation in the North of Vietnam), the results show that factors are measured by the observed variables in the study that ensure reliability and relevance. The descriptive statistics result of vocational training quality is 3.28, while all independent variables are at average level (between 3.1 to 3.48) with the highest value related to the quality of the teacher and the lowest are facilities and training programs and management capacity of university. However, the regression results show that the qualification of the teacher, material facilities and training program, management capacity and job opportunities at the training school do not affect the quality of the training while “Learners-NH” have a great positive effect and the labor market information has a negative effect on the training quality of the school significantly. Base on those data, some policy recommendations have been given out in order to improve the training quality of transport technology universities in the north of Vietnam in particular and the vocational training quality of Vietnam in general.

In the world auto market, top three companies are VW(Volkswagen), Runault-Nissan-Mistubishi, and Toyota. About some selected countries and areas, China, England, Italy, Australia, Germany, Turkey, Russia, Sweden, USA, Brazil, UAE, Japan, Vietnam and Thailand are more competitive. However, the situation is different. Seeing monopolistic market countries and areas, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Korea, Malaysia, France, India, and Pakistan, in particular, the influence of Japan to Taiwan, India, and Pakistan is very big. But in Korea and France, their own companies’ brands occupy the market. In Japan domestic market, the overall situation is competitive. Almost all vehicles made in Japan are Japanese brand. From now on, we have to note the development of electric vehicle (EV) and other new technologies such as automatic driving and connected car. That is because they will give a great impact on the auto industry and market of Japan. Now Japan’s auto industry is going to be consolidated into three groups, Honda, Toyota group, and Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi group for seeking the scale merit of economy. Therefore, I will pay attention to the worldwide development of EV and other new technologies and the reorganization of auto companies groups.

The political business cycle (PBC) theory argues that an incumbent party tends to use government resources to impress voters, so government spending always rises before but declines after an election. Many PBC studies have been done for an individual country or cross-countries, but the results are conflicting. The purpose of this paper is to explore possible fluctuating patterns of government spending in response to political elections in Asian countries because of a lack of studies across this region. In this study, data on 219 elections in 26 countries from 1990 to 2014 are collected. There are two main findings: firstly, government spending falls the year after elections in Asian countries; secondly, the degree of democracy and transparency have impacts on government spending in Asian countries.

In the exercise of teaching, teachers give account of different forms of organization: emerging, self-managed and autonomous product of conceptions that arise from training, performance and experiences where the socio-political nature of both his being and individual that integrates and makes part of social groups, as in the exercise of professional practice. Under this horizon, the aim of this work is to analyze from the social function of the teacher the sociopolitical role of their task as far as the political vision has, ability to understand social problems and generate actions for which is part of a frame of reference where the concepts that allow to develop theoretical analysis to identify the sociopolitical expression of the teaching exercise are exposed, considering that in this practice this type of content is revealed in the teachers as actors of the teaching-learning process, both in the training in their performance based on the training they receive, the historical geographical relationship and the experiences that their activity provides them with what has framed this work. It is concluded that in the exercise of teaching work are present sociopolitical categories that affect both the understanding of social phenomena and the pretense of practical actions that transform these realities from the institution-teacher-student interaction.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors affecting the succession process in the family business in East Java, Indonesia. The variables used in this research are succession planning (X1), preparation of heirs (X2), relationships among family members (X3) as independent variables while succession process (Y) and post transition business performance (Z) act as dependent variables. Questionnaires are used to collect the study data. Additionally, quantitative analysis with path analysis is used as analysis tool. The population in this study is medium and large scale family business in Surabaya, Sidoarjo, Mojokerto, Pasuruan, dan Gresik. Samples are taken from 43 family businesses with total employment of minimum 20 and have performed at least one generational transition. The statistic analysis findings reflect the non-significant relationship between succession planning and preparation of heirs towards successful transition. While relationships among family members gives the most significant influence on the successful transition, as well as the significant influence between succession process to the post transition performance.

This research is motivated by tax revenues in Indonesia that did not reach the target compared to the realization in the last 10 years, this resulted in a relatively small tax ratio of around 12%. These problems illustrate that the level of taxpayer compliance is still low. Minister of Finance Regulation Number 91/03/2015 is expected to increase tax compliance so that state revenues will increases. This research on taxpayer compliance is focused on the implementation of this regulation in the Central Office of the Directorate General of Taxes in Jakarta. The research approach used is descriptive quantitative. The results of the study indicated that the enactment of the regulation in the Central Jakarta Regional Office has contributed to tax revenues of around 2.05% of total state revenues of IDR11,038,854,776,614 and it contributed 0.37% of IDR61,479,497,160,610. In fact the level of taxpayer compliance in Indonesia in 2015 increased by 1.31% from 59.12% to 60.42%, this is a positive impact of the enactment of the regulation, but the target of tax revenue on a national scale has not been fulfilled yet.

Credibility theory is an actuarial approach used to calculate the short term insurance premiums. The aim of this article is to calculate the credibility premium based on real data from non-life Egyptian insurance industry during 10 years period (2006 to 2015), taking into consideration the amount of incurred claims from six insurance branches and the number of extreme losses in each branch. The analysis was based on the assumptions of Bühlmann and Bühlmann-Straub credibility models in order to estimate the net credible premium for the upcoming year as a linear function of the prior claims and the number of extreme events.

throughout Brazil, the Familiar Agriculture Institutional Purchasing Programs for foods have brought a re-insertion in the market for the farmers and their families and the National Food for the Schools Program (PNAE) is its most significant example. It is, by far, the longest non-stop public policy in the country in this regard (since 1955); even though in 2009 new targets have been introduced, with a mandatory minimum purchase of 30% from the Familiar Agriculture (AF). The main objective of this study is to evaluate the challenges of implementing the PNAE, right after the changes occurred in 2009, over at Criciuma County, in Santa Catarina State, Brazil, starting in 2010 until 2015. From the Federal resources sent, 33% have been used to buy foods from the AF Program, though. As for the meals served in schools (menus), the majority is just inappropriate, with a high level of refined sugar been added, up to a level of 67% overall. It has been noted some factors that make things difficult for the Cooperatives to join the PNAE, even though the granted selling system has shown a fundamental element for granting a continuous income to the farmers. In the Criciuma County, the PNAE needs a bigger commitment from the public sector and a better interaction among the other involved parties, in order to contribute to the strength of the Food and Nutritional Safety Program (SAN).
