This article examines the multiple conformation that a poetic text maintains with other disciplines such as painting. We will analyse the different internal values of an openly dialogical writing in the production of the Andalusian poet Rafael Alberti, through the study of lecturer Loretta Frattale, Il suono impossibile della poesia. Rafael Alberti e la poesia dipinta. We will verify how a poem can be configured in a set of not only verbal but also visual perspectives, thus constructing a text, in the most semiological sense, that can be read in a continuous meeting of a verbovisual nature. A later Albertian poetics that prevails within the different writings of the great Spanish poet.

This article explores two talented, controversial writers. One Portuguese, the other Brazilian, both fueled by irreverence and provocation in the way they focus on themselves and the world. Natália Correia, a poet, novelist and Azorean playwright (1923-93), whose work emerged in the midst of the Salazar regime, and with a militant political-literary performance with other leading figures in Portuguese culture and literature during the 1950s and 1960s. Her poetry maintains affinities with aesthetic tendencies of Surrealism, although she was not a strict follower of any literary movement. Hilda Hilst, a poet, prose and playwright from São Paulo (1930-2004), was a militant of different nature. She was not linked to any aesthetic programs or literary trends, a singularity that even today defies critics.

The Portuguese playwright and poet Gil Vicente is celebrated as one of Western literature greatest playwrights, as well as the most important dramatic author of Portuguese literature. Cortes de Jupiter (1521) is an excellent example of his unique style and one of his most fascinating plays. This article is intended to analyse some excerpts of this work, that deal with such themes as the representation of crown prince D. João, the presence of a Moorish female character and of her peculiar jargon, the wedding of the infanta Beatriz that gave Vicente the opportunity to stage his play.

EnglishThis article deals with Italo Calvino’s work as reader Latin American writers for Einaudi during the 1970s. Through specific case studies of editorial mediation taken from Einaudi’s archive we will outline the principles used by Calvino to assure publication edition of Latin American works. That will help us to include Calvino’s activity into the field of Latin American literature reception and editorial mediation studies in Italy during the second half of the 20th century. italianoLe carte conservate presso il fondo della casa editrice Einaudi attestano come Italo Calvino seppe confrontarsi con la cultura e la letteratura ispanoamericana attribuendole un valore letterario e culturale non scontato per l’epoca nella quale svolse le sue funzioni di mediatore editoriale. Il presente studio prende in esame i pareri editoriali riguardanti testi ispanoamericani prodotti da Italo Calvino per la casa editrice Einaudi durante gli anni Settanta del secolo scorso.
