This paper analyzes processes of legitimization of socio-educational inequalities in secondary schools fo-cusing on the production of asymmetries based on the affirmation of distances with respect to “the others” in prestigious institutions dependent on a National University in Argentina. The methodological approach was based on a multiple case study. Between 2012 and 2016 were made observations, documentary analy-sis, 13 in-depth interviews with “key” actors and 67 semi-structured interviews with teachers. The results show multiple and overlapping processes of “self-legitimization by distancing”: the “others” are the de-pendent schools of the Province of Buenos Aires, the private schools, the other undergraduate schools or the other specialty. Borders are mobile: a work of hierarchy consolidates these schools into an elite place.

espanolEn los anos 90 surge una nueva forma de hacer democracia, donde la representacion social toma fuerza y la ciudadania participa en la formulacion de politicas publicas y en la determinacion de parte del presupuesto para su localidad. El nivel de difusion y aplicacion del presupuesto participativo a nivel mundial es desconocido, asi como tambien se desconocen las implicaciones que ha causado a los proce-sos democraticos. En este contexto se realizo una revision bibliografica sistematica de las publicaciones indexadas del 2000 al 2016. Mediante el uso del software para analisis cualitativo NVivo y el uso de matrices se organiza, analiza y sintetiza informacion como: titulo, autor, ano de publicacion, linea de investigacion y aplicacion de temas comunes. Los resultados muestran a Porto Alegre en Brasil, como la zona de mayor aplicacion de la metodologia, y a la voluntad politica como el principal factor de exito de controversia en el proceso. EnglishSince the 1900s, a new form of democracy has emerged, where the social representation is reinforced and the citizens participate in the public policy and they determine the budget for their location. The level of diffusion and application of participatory budgeting is unknown. The implications caused for democratic processes are also unknown. In this context, a systematic literature review of publications indexed from 2000 to 2016 was conducted. Using the software NVivo for qualitative analysis and using matrices the following information was organized, analyzed and synthesized: title, author, year of publi-cation, research line and application of common themes. The results show to Porto Alegre in Brazil as the area of greatest application of this methodology, the political will as the main factor of success, and a time of controversy in the process.

espanolEn el presente trabajo, emergido de investigacion de Iniciacion Cientifica del Centro Universitario Sa-lesiano de Sao Paulo/Americana/ Brasil, se busco analizar y sistematizar una propuesta de educacion en africanidades desde la Educacion Infantil, identificando elementos de expresion del cuerpo-infancia afro descendiente. Se utilizo la metodologia de Sistematizacion de Experiencias (Jara, 2006) en los siguien-tes tiempos: punto de partida; preguntas iniciales; recuperacion del proceso vivido/reflexion de fondo y puntos de llegada. Las actividades desarrolladas por dos anos con aproximadamente 300 ninos, entre 05 y 06 anos, demuestran que es posible construir alternativas en la propia institucion escolar, con enorme potencial en lo que se refiere a su capacidad de dar significado a las vivencias de los ninos, desarrollan-do la creatividad, valorando la diversidad y, sobre todo, despertando su conciencia corporeo-historico-cultural. Creemos que hay que reconocer y potenciar iniciativas educativas que dialogan con procesos emancipatorios cuando se trata de estudios sobre la cuestion racial. Para que esto ocurra la comunidad escolar necesita revisar pensamientos racistas que cargan mitos de superioridad blanca. Los estudios que lleven a la descolonizacion del saber y del poder en Brasil y en America Latina deben formar parte de los procesos de formacion docente. Su incorporacion en los curriculos y en los procesos pedagogicos de manera general es de gran importancia para la construccion de una sociedad mas humana, equitativa y receptiva frente a las diversidades. EnglishIn the present work, emerged from a Scientific Initiation research from Salesian University Center of Sao Paulo/Americana/Brazil, it was sought to analyze and systematize an educational proposal in Afri-canities from Early Childhood Education, identifying elements of Afro-descendant body-childhood ex-pression. The Systematization of Experiences methodology was used (Jara, 2006) in the following times: starting point; initial questions; recovery of the lived process/background reflection and arrival points. The activities developed for two years with approximately 300 children, between 05 and 06 years old, show that it is possible to build alternatives in the school institution itself, with enormous potential in terms of its ability to give meaning to children’s experiences, developing creativity, valuing diversity and, above all, awakening their corporeal-historical-cultural consciousness. It must be recognized and promoted educational initiatives that dialogue with emancipatory processes when it comes to studies on the racial issue. Furthermore, the school community needs to review racist thoughts that carry myths of white superiority. The development of new technologies is causing rapid changes in the school curriculum. In this way, it is necessary to emphasize the training and learning, by part of the students, of a correct digital lite-racy due to the rise of the Internet. In this line of study, it should be noted that there is a sector of the population, which presents an intellectual disability in any society. In this sense, the present study is to evaluate the development of the communicative ability in young people with mild intellectual disability, using an electronic environment that stimulates the behavior and ability to process information that will enable to launch media literacy for the good interaction in their own environment. The methodology in this research is quantitative, using an evaluation model based on the dimensions selected to study. In this way, we analyzed a total of 6 subjects, belonging to the Center of Attention (CAM) of Saltillo, Coahuila (Mexico). Among the most relevant conclusions, it can be noted that delay in respect to a good media literacy. However, the study clarifies that interest was awakened in the young people for the digital platforms, despite the fact that educational institutions do not support this teaching methodology.

Community radio stations are initiatives that -within the educational framework- make voices and claims visible, as well as strengthening participative social dynamics. The present paper aims at analyzing various communication theories within the educational field from the viewpoint of the community school radio “Hueney”, which constitutes a significative experience that places value on the everyday lives of rural youth engaging with their environment. This work presents a qualitative and analytical methodo-logy through the use of interviews made to relevant participant members of the aforementioned radio station. The conclusions reflect that the radio not only as a means of support, understood as mediation of the voices of the surrounding community and bond that strengthens the cultural and social identity.

espanolEl trabajo tiene como objetivo describir las estructuras comunicativas y sociales que se encuentran en los grupos de investigadores que configuran los cuerpos academicos en Mexico. Se recurre a un estudio cualitativo-fenomenologico, donde se realizaron entrevistas y observaciones en un contexto particu-lar, asi como el analisis de 150 productos academicos sobre el tema. Los resultados describen que los cuerpos academicos mantienen una estructura social y comunicativa cerrada hacia fuera, tendiendo a no compartir propuestas de trabajo a los demas profesores, pero abierta hacia adentro, pues aceptan el trabajo de otros, garantizando con este, que los cuerpos academicos logren su consolidacion, situaciones que generan tension en el ambiente laboral. Este articulo resume la experiencia desarrollada en el municipio de San Juan Atitan (Guatemala) mediante la realizacion de un audiovisual etnografico sobre una tradicion de eleccion de autoridades locales que fusiona practicas heredadas de las epocas maya y colonial. Las autoridades locales apoyan el trabajo del alcalde y sus concejales y conforman una forma de organizacion legitima, reconocida por el Codigo Municipal de Guatemala. Su relevancia es notoria desde diversos angulos y supone una proyeccion hacia el desarrollo a la hora de plantear politicas publicas para el fortalecimiento de los gobiernos locales. La costumbre, no documentada audiovisualmente con anterioridad, pretendia ser filmada y difundida para contribuir a su tangibilizacion y perpetuacion como manifestacion inmaterial de patrimonio cultural y buena practica de organizacion social indigena. Para ello se planifico un acercamiento a la realidad de estudio desde la horizontalidad, con el proposito de contribuir a la comprension colectiva de esta practica y el fortalecimiento de la identidad local, mediante actividades de devolucion comunitaria y dialogo intercultural e intergeneracional. Las conclusiones de la investigacion demuestran la importancia y validez de la etnografia audiovisual -con sus diferentes aportes desde la comunicacion social y la antropologia- aplicada a procesos de revitalizacion cultural y desarrollo territorial en Centroamerica, en momentos en los que la globalizacion, en sus diferentes formas, extiende de forma imparable su manto homogeneizante.
{"title":"Audiovisual etnográfico y tradición: una contribución a la identidad y el desarrollo del municipio","authors":"Luis Bruzón Delgado","doi":"10.17163/UNI.N27.2017.02","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.17163/UNI.N27.2017.02","url":null,"abstract":"Este articulo resume la experiencia desarrollada en el municipio de San Juan Atitan (Guatemala) mediante la realizacion de un audiovisual etnografico sobre una tradicion de eleccion de autoridades locales que fusiona practicas heredadas de las epocas maya y colonial. Las autoridades locales apoyan el trabajo del alcalde y sus concejales y conforman una forma de organizacion legitima, reconocida por el Codigo Municipal de Guatemala. Su relevancia es notoria desde diversos angulos y supone una proyeccion hacia el desarrollo a la hora de plantear politicas publicas para el fortalecimiento de los gobiernos locales. La costumbre, no documentada audiovisualmente con anterioridad, pretendia ser filmada y difundida para contribuir a su tangibilizacion y perpetuacion como manifestacion inmaterial de patrimonio cultural y buena practica de organizacion social indigena. Para ello se planifico un acercamiento a la realidad de estudio desde la horizontalidad, con el proposito de contribuir a la comprension colectiva de esta practica y el fortalecimiento de la identidad local, mediante actividades de devolucion comunitaria y dialogo intercultural e intergeneracional. Through the ethnographic account of a series of field experiences lived during the production of communitarian cinema with indigenous peoples, the author proposes to explore the implications of cinema beyond the final cut of the work and inquiries about the cinematographic process and the different dimensions of the social which cross through it. At the end, she refers to the expansion of the film outside its temporal and physical limits stating that films are in continuous realization and that their projection is a performance which completes them.

El articulo reporta el desarrollo de una investigacion colaborativa en donde se utilizo la metodologia de video participativo para documentar practicas de conocimiento indigena en el sur de Veracruz, Mexico. El estudio de caso describe la produccion de un video documental con jovenes indigenas sobre practicas locales y como el proceso de creacion del video acerco a los participantes a conocer practicas tradicionales locales y saberes socioambientales de la comunidad. El video participativo como proceso educativo, permitio documentar y valorar el conocimiento local que existe sobre la pesca tradicional que se lleva a cabo en la comunidad, una actividad realizada principalmente por mujeres en la actualidad. El estudio encontro que el involucramiento de los jovenes en la creacion del video documental y el abordaje educativo decolonial a traves del cual se realizo la colaboracion, permitio a los jovenes articularse con el contexto natural y la cultura local y valorar practicas que buscan el bienestar humano. El estudio analiza tambien la relevancia del uso de camaras de video como herramienta para el desarrollo de metodologias decoloniales en investigacion en ciencias sociales como un nuevo paradigma postcolonial.
