The COVID-19 pandemic is a memorable and challenging period for the global population, particularly for athletes. The ability to train outdoors and gather in groups became highly restricted and often prohibited, leading to adverse effects. Kabaddi athletes in Bali, Indonesia, were among those significantly impacted. This group had the potential to contribute champions to the national team. The aim of this study was to assess the arm muscle endurance of Denpasar Kabaddi athletes before and during the pandemic. This research is descriptive-quantitative in nature and employed purposive sampling, involving 15 core athletes. The endurance test consisted of performing pushups for one minute. Data were analyzed descriptively to determine the average arm muscle endurance level of the athletes. Results indicated that before the pandemic, 100% of the athletes had good arm muscle endurance. During the pandemic, however, only 5 out of 15 athletes (33.33%) maintained a good level, while 10 athletes fell to a medium level. The study concluded that the arm muscle endurance of Denpasar male kabaddi athletes decreased during the COVID-19 pandemic by an average of 9.33 times per minute. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of tendo-muscular massage. The method used in the research is descriptive quantitative. The sample in this study amounted to 30 people who had mild to moderate knee injuries during sports and other physical activities. The order of data collection, namely starting with the pretest measurement, then given a one-time tendo-muscullar massage treatment which is carried out for 8 minutes and ends with a posttest measurement. The research data that has been obtained is then analysed with descriptive quantitative. Interval and ratio scale data that met the normality test were analysed using the paired sample t-test parametric statistical test, while data that did not meet the normality test using the wilcoxon non-parametric statistical tests. The results of measurements with the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) experienced an average pain reduction of 2.5 and a significance of 0.000 <0.05, while the range of motion measured with a goniometer experienced an average increase of 6 degrees, T count of 6,819 and Significance 0.000 in flexion movements and an average increase of 0.88 degrees, T count of 7,848 and Significance 0.000 in extension movements, as well as an increase in joint motion function of 28.83%. So it can be concluded that Tendo-muscular massage has a significant effect on reducing pain and increasing the range of motion (ROM) of the knee joint. Keyword. Este estudo teve o objetivo de analisar o financiamento do Esporte de Alto Rendimento (EAR) no Brasil no Ciclo Olímpico e Paralímpico Tóquio 2020. Caracteriza-se como uma pesquisa descritiva de cunho quanti-qualitativo, realizada a partir de análise documental, no período de 2017 a 2021. Realizou-se a coleta de dados no Portal da Legislação do Governo Federal e no Portal Transparência no Esporte. A análise de dados baseou-se nos indicadores: fontes de financiamento, magnitude do gasto e direção do gasto. O Ciclo Tóquio 2020 teve 6,07 bilhões, destes a fonte extraorçamentária destaca-se, pois representou 70,65% do financiamento do EAR, considerando, principalmente o repasse de concursos de prognóstico para entidades esportivas e o patrocínio das estatais sem incentivo fiscal. A fonte orçamentária ficou com 14,72% dos recursos, fruto sobretudo de contribuições sobre concursos de prognóstico e recursos ordinários. Já a fonte de gasto tributário teve 14,63%, especialmente a partir de recursos da Lei de Incentivo ao Esporte. Infere-se que as entidades esportivas se beneficiaram do financiamento público do EAR no Ciclo Tóquio 2020, principalmente em razão dos repasses dos concursos prognósticos, da Lei de Incentivo ao Esporte e do patrocínios das estatais, tendo o Estado esvaziado seu papel em um contexto de governos ultraneoliberais. Este artículo describe un procedimiento de intervención terciaria en una organización pública formativa de fútbol en la que existía diversas manifestaciones violentas de tipo verbal y discriminativa, identificándose: violencia organizacional, violencia de espectadores o hinchas incondicionales (familias), violencia entre iguales y discriminación por razón de género. La muestra del sistema lo constituían incluyendo la alcaldía (n=1), gestor político (n=1), técnico de la delegación (n=1); familiares (n=360); y protagonistas, que incluyen al director deportivo (n=1), entrenadores (n=6) y jugadores (n=360). La intervención se produjo por parte de un profesional de la psicología del deporte especialista en violencia con un rol reformulado como director técnico en 4 fases: ajuste, estabilización, aceptación y confrontación y progreso. Las medidas y acciones fueron dirigidas tanto a agentes como a procedimientos y criterios que sustentaban la cultura estructural de la organización. Tras cuatro años de implementación del programa, la administración contratante calificó los resultados como exitosos, destacando una reducción de la violencia en la organización. Este éxito se refleja en un incremento del 25% en el número total de jugadores, pasando de 360 a 450, y en un notable aumento del 215% en la participación femenina, que creció de 16 a 50 jugadoras. Menos violencia provoca más satisfacción y por tanto aumenta la participación. Palabras claves: Prevención. Terciaria. Violencia. Organización. Fútbol. Abstract. This article describes a tertiary intervention procedure in a public football training organization in which there were various verbal and discriminative violent manifestations, identifying: organizational violence, violence from spectators or unconditional fans (families), violence between equals and discrimination based on of genre. El dolor lumbar es un problema de salud común que puede ser asociado a afecciones de salud y ausentismo académico en estudiantes universitarias. La debilidad de la zona media (core) afecta la estabilidad de la columna, contribuyendo al dolor lumbar. Este estudio analizó los efectos de un entrenamiento de core en la postura, funcionalidad y dolor en mujeres universitarias con dolor lumbar. Se realizó un ensayo cuasiexperimental con 22 participantes divididas en un grupo experimental y un grupo control. La postura se evaluó mediante pruebas de flechas sagital y un inclinómetro, la funcionalidad con el cuestionario de Oswestry, y el dolor con una escala analógica. El entrenamiento consistió en ejercicios específicos de core, realizados dos veces por semana durante cuatro semanas. Los resultados mostraron que, aunque no hubo cambios significativos en la funcionalidad (p=0,356), el grupo experimental presentó una reducción significativa en la cifosis (p=0,016) y lordosis (p=0,011), así como una disminución en ENA (p=0,014). Estos hallazgos sugieren que un programa de entrenamiento de core puede mejorar la postura y reducir el dolor en mujeres universitarias con dolor lumbar. Sin embargo, se recomienda mayor frecuencia de sesiones para obtener mejoras en la funcionalidad. En conclusión, el entrenamiento de core es una intervención efectiva para mejorar la postura y reducir el dolor en estudiantes universitarias, destacando la importancia de incluir estos ejercicios en los programas de prevención y tratamiento del dolor lumbar en esta población. El rasgo de alta sensibilidad al procesamiento sensorial (HSPST) es una característica neurológica específica que afecta al 20% de la población mundial. Se caracteriza porque la Persona Altamente Sensible (PAS) tiene altos niveles de capacidad empática, relatividad emocional y sensibilidad ante estímulos sutiles imperceptibles para los demás. Objetivo: Relacionar el rasgo del HSPST y el equilibrio postural en personas mayores. Métodos: El estudio fue de tipo correlacional. Se realizó en una única etapa mediante cuestionario presencial y evaluación del equilibrio postural. Los participantes en este estudio fueron seleccionados mediante muestreo accidental y no aleatorio de la ciudad de Punta Arenas, Chile. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 77 adultos mayores con edades entre 63 y 77 años. Resultados: La puntuación de la Escala de personas de alta sensibilidad (HSPS) predijo significativamente el resultado del equilibrio postural con los ojos cerrados (EC). El estudio demostró una correlación entre la puntuación HSPS y el equilibrio postural. Si bien se incrementó la puntuación HSPS, se esperaba un equilibrio postural en los adultos mayores. Conclusiones: las personas con un puntaje HSPS alto se establecería como predictor del resultado del equilibrio con EC, observándose que por cada aumento de una unidad en el puntaje HSPS, hay una disminución del 6% en la probabilidad de tener el equilibrio alterado. The participants in this study were selected by non-random, accidental sampling from the city of Punta Arenas, Chile. The sample comprised 77 older adults aged between 63 and 77 years. Results: The High Sensitive Person Scale (HSPS) score significantly predicted the eye-closed (EC) postural balance outcome. The study demonstrated a correlation between the HSPS score and postural balance. While increasing the HSPS score, postural balance was expected in older adults. Conclusions: People with a high HSPS score would be established as a predictor of the result of balance with EC, observing that for every one unit increase in the HSPS score, there is a 6% decrease in the probability of having a balance altered. Conclusions: People with a high HSPS score would be established as a predictor of the result of balance with EC, observing that for every one unit increase in the HSPS score, there is a 6% decrease in the probability of having a balance altered.\u0000Keywords: Sensory processing, Postural balance, Aging, Sensitivity, Neurosciences.","PeriodicalId":503742,"journal":{"name":"Retos","volume":"2 9","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141699054","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Self-peace is a crucial component for individuals/teenagers/students to live happily and recover from drug use. However, self-peace isn't wholly owned by individuals affected by drug use or recovering from drugs. Peace counsellors measure self-peace as a form of the addiction counsellor's role in the growth of self-peace due to drug use. This research aims to develop a valid and reliable self-peace scale. The research method uses a sequential exploratory mixed method from the qualitative data analysis process supported by quantitative data. The research targets were three expert validators and N=151 subjects among students/individuals/adolescents. Qualitative descriptive analysis compiles grids and statement items and provides expert input in developing the self-peace scale. Quantitative data analysis from the expert assessment with Aikan-V and instrument testing with confirmatory factor analysis will be used to determine the validity and reliability of the self-peace scale. The results of the data analysis compiled a blueprint of the peace scale (sub-aspects of caring, courage and love) and 12 statement items that were included in the very feasible category (Aikan-V ≥0.888). Validity of statement items with 12 valid statement items with factor loading ≥0.5, KMO=0.793 ≥0.50, reliability score 0.842 (high criteria). School counsellors can use student problem assessments to analyze student problems and needs. Counsellors, psychologists and researchers can use the self-peace scale to determine the development of an individual's self-peace to recover from drug use with four answer choices. The analysis results can be applied to further intervention in peace counselling. Keywords: self-peace, scale, validity, reliability

This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality on achievement motivation based on the category of athletes in kurash sport in Indonesia. This research is a correlational quantitative research and it was analyzed using structural equating modeling (SEM) with the help of Smart-PLS 4 for students. The sample number of athletes was 100, and the athlete categories were by the rules of KCAO (Kurash Confederation of Asia-Oceania). The cadet category was 30 athletes; aged 15.2±1.7, have 2.8±5.3 years of training experience, and have 4.5±0.0 hours of training duration in a week. The junior category was 31 athletes; aged 17.7±4.4, have 3.1±9.6 years of training experience, and have 5.7±4.8 hours of training duration in a week. The senior category was 39 athletes; aged 21.8±7.8, have 5.7±8.8 years of training experience, and have 8.2±3.1 hours of training duration in a week. Data collection in the form of questionnaires that have passed the validation stage and interviews with random athletes was also used if necessary. The results showed an outer loading value of >0.7 and cronbach’s alpha of >0.6. The Goodness of Fit (GoF) test on Standardized Root Mean Square Residual (SRMR) was 0.062<0.08 or 0.10. Path analysis was based on categories, namely P-Values and the magnitude of influence, by referring to the Original Sample (O) value. The cadet category is 0.000 with an influence of 0.614; the junior category is 0.000 with an influence of 0.698, and the senior category is 0.000 with an influence of 0.661. In conclusion, the quality of service is very important and is a top priority in developing types of sports, so that athletes feel fully cared for and guaranteed as athletes.
