Purpose. In this paper, we propose an approach to identifying significant differences in the speech of typically developing boys (TD), boys with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Down syndrome (DS) based on a comparison of morphological and lexical characteristics of their speech. The linguistic characteristics were extracted automatically using the morphological analyzer pymorphy2. Sixty nine boys were interviewed. In total, 45 linguistic features were extracted from each dialogue.Results. The Mann – Whitney U test was used for assessing the differences in linguistic features of speech, and differences were identified for 31 linguistic features of speech of boys with TD and with ASD, 31 linguistic features of speech of boys with TD and with DS, and 15 linguistic features of speech of boys with ASD and with DS. These features were used to build classification models using machine learning methods: gradient boosting, random forest, and AdaBoost algorithm. The identified features showed good separability, and the accuracy of the classification of the dialogues of boys with typical development, autism spectrum disorders and Down syndrome equal to 88 % was achieved.

Purpose. The article analyses the image of a military pilot in Soviet memoir literature. A lot of research works were devoted to the study of Soviet literature and its figurative system, but no special works have been found that focus on this character. The research material is a book of essays by M. Chechneva My Battle Friends (1968). The author used the method of mythopoetic analysis, as well as a structural-typological approach.Results. The work substantiates a typological similarity between a pilot and a warrior maiden at the characterological, gender, mythopoetic, allusive, and nominative levels. The study revealed significant elements of the image of a military pilot and associated motives – revenge, delayed marriage. These motifs refer to the inherent gender inversion in such plots, highlight the masculinity of the heroines, a characteristic of the type of female warrior. The image under the study is intertextually connected with Russian epic heroines, which allows us to talk about the traditional nature of the type itself. The semantics of the nomination “night witches” is also analyzed, which paradoxically takes on positive connotations. In addition, specific socialist realist layers were found in the model under consideration – the heroines are characterized by such qualities as discipline, rigor, and calmness.Conclusion. The image of a military pilot fits into the paradigm of the warrior maiden type, but has some peculiarities. This is due to the artistic method within which the author of the essays worked, as well as to the time of writing the works.

Purpose. The article is devoted to the key aspects of expressing ecological consciousness of the indigenous peoples of the North in novels Tommoo and Thunder Bursts by Nikolai Kalitin, who raises the problem of damaging hunting grounds and rivers during the technological development of the North.Results. The key aspects of the ecological consciousness of Evenks and Yakuts are revealed in novels Tommoo and Thunder bursts. The ecological consciousness is based on a careful attitude to nature, and awareness of inseparable unity with it: perception of nature as the mother of all things and understanding of kinship with it; animateness of all objects and phenomena revealed through the presence of spirits of nature and mythological deities; man's understanding of himself as a creation of nature; the presence of a sacred tree as a symbol of the world structure, the personification of the unfading fertility of the earth.Conclusion. The key to solving the problem of further survival and wealth of indigenous peoples of the North is believed to be the search for a balance between the technological development of society and the preservation of ecology, rational use of natural resources for continuation of traditional activities, based on ethnic culture with rational simplification of labor.

Purpose. The article analyses the features of the erotic narrative of I. A. Bunin in his cycle Dark Alleys, which became a phenomenon in Russian classical literature – a kind of artistic “encyclopedia of love”, written in defiance of ethical and ideological prohibitions.Results. Erotica in this cycle is presented in descriptions of the physiology of sex and sexual communication. The research examines 209 contexts extracted from the cycle. They describe actions of a sexual nature, including violent or commercial ones, human physiology and anatomy (59 contexts), which determine human sexual behavior. The writer widely uses various methods of euphemization of erotic meanings: synonymous replacements, generalization techniques, allusion, ellipsis, silence. Quantitative data show that the main speech strategy in the Bunin cycle is silence, which is implemented in a whole series of stylistic tropes and figures. I. A. Bunin uses a diverse arsenal of units of the lexical, lexico-morphological and syntactic levels. Euphemisms appear in areas of maximum erotic tension. With their help, the author reduces the “emotionogenicity” of erotica in accordance with his own ideas about the boundaries of what is acceptable and permissible.Conclusion. In the vertical context of Russian culture, I. Bunin’s erotic narrative, his restraint and precision in the choice of linguistic means, the deliberate exclusion of naturalism and reduced style serve to preserve harmony in the triad “LOVE – PASSION – SEX”. The Bunin language of Dark Alleys can be considered a classic standard of the sacrament of physical love, which the writers of the 20th century were guided by, accepting or rejecting it.

Purpose. General aim of this article is the structuring of the functional-semantic field of color terms in the Kazakh language.Results. The article analyzes the experimental results obtained during the psycholinguistic association experiment (AE) conducted in 2021 with students being native Kazakh speakers. The Almaty Corpus of the Kazakh language was used for determining the frequency of basic adjectives in the Kazakh language. There were assigned 8 lexemes as basic color terms in the Kazakh language: қara ‘black’, ақ ‘white’, kok ‘blue’, kyzyl ‘red’, sary ‘yellow’, қоңыр ‘brown’, zhasyl ‘green’ and sur ‘grey’ ‒ on the basis of their frequency, non-derivation, transparency of lexical meaning, wide compatibility with words of different semantic classes and word-formation productivity. The conducted associative experiment was aimed to identify the standards of basic color designations rooted in the linguistic consciousness, as well as the respondents' original reactions to color.Conclusion. The application of the associative experiment revealed the features of the linguistic picture of the world of the Kazakhs in terms of the color representation of reality. The use of AE made it possible to obtain information about different levels of color awareness, which allows clarifying and verifying one of the possible ways to study color designations. A significant proportion of stable associations lie in the emotional, spiritual and intellectual spheres, whereas objects of the environment acting as standards for color values are represented by a large number of single, individual associations.

Purpose. The article contains results of philological analysis of the motif of flight in the poems by the contemporary Kuzbass poet A. D. Raevsky. The material for analysis is The Golden Bug (Zolotoy Zhuk; 2021), a collection of works of different periods. Poems containing the motif of flight are analyzed and classified by topic.Results. The authors consider five groups of poems: 1) poems where flight is the central element of the plot; 2) poems tied to childhood, homeland, nostalgia, memories of the past; 3) landscape poems dedicated to nature; 4) love poems; 5) philosophical poems with metaphysical, existential topics. The motif has a range of functions: 1) expresses psychological state of the hero, for example, his joy or delight, love, passion, fatigue, sorrow, calmness; 2) becomes an element of the philosophical plot of the poem corresponding to such topics as sense of life, death, soul; 3) becomes an element of the space developing the chronotop of the poem, making it bright and emotional.Conclusion. The motif of flight expressed with various verbs and nouns plays an important role in the poetry by Raevsky. It is associated with love, nature, freedom, homeland, family members, memory and nostalgia, as well as with philosophical topics such as death and sense of life. Various images, from animals (birds, horses, etc.) and natural objects (leaves, clouds) to supernatural creatures (a flying horse, a witch) reveal this motif.

Purpose. To examine the portrayal of women in matrimonial contexts through an analysis of 437 proverbs originating from Portuguese, Spanish, and Russian traditions. This study aims to explore how these sayings mirror the cultural, societal, and religious beliefs surrounding women's roles in the institution of marriage.Results. The study found that the image of women in marriage within these proverbs is consistent across the cultures studied. It highlighted that while the Christian Church promotes chastity, it also endorses marriage to combat sexual promiscuity. Similarities were identified between Southern European and Russian proverbs regarding the spiritual foundation of Christian marriage, the nature of spousal relationships, and the expected qualities of a wife and mother.Conclusion. Proverbs serve as a cultural repository, mirroring traditions and values shaped by historical and literary influences. The proverbs perpetuate the religious and moral ideals of the Catholic and Orthodox Churches, particularly the patriarchal view of marriage. This view enforces a hierarchy within marriage, with the wife subordinated to the husband, who is seen as her spiritual guide and the determinant of roles and responsibilities in the family and the broader society.

Purpose. The subject of the article is the functional aspect of the major late A. P. Checkhov’s works topics. Steppe, city and plant / factory are polyfunctional space types and concepts.Results. The steppe topos incorporated into Chekhov’s poetics and concepts in the 1880s, was developing in the 1890s in its existential meaning. The steppe topos in two short stories, At Home and The Petcheneg, represents a disastrous space. The main character of the first story, Vera Kardina, realizes her regress into wildness; the protagonist of the se cond story would never realize it. So, Vera’s decision is to be useful in her local social life; the Petcheneg, on contrary, is metaphorically dead. The city topos is investigated in its major variant “the province”. The genius of the place is narrow-minded hypocrisy, total distrust and boredom. Misayl Poloznev, the personage of My Life, lives his own life in spite of the common way of living. Doctor Startsev, the protagonist of Ionych, could not overcome a city’s inertia of deindividualization. The plant / factory topos marks a place of machinery, antagonistic to any human – proprietors and workers. In the novella A Woman’s Kingdom the plant’s master is unhappy and lonesome, in A Doctor’s Visit the factory symbolizes a devil. A young lady, the proprietor, is ready to leave the place and seek her own path.Conclusion. Toposes the steppe, the city and the plant have a triple function. The first is a plot function (the action catalysator), the second is a conceptual (generation of negative senses), the third is architectonic (values structure).

The first is a plot function (the action catalysator), the second is a conceptual (generation of negative senses), the third is architectonic (values structure).","PeriodicalId":508489,"journal":{"name":"Vestnik NSU. Purpose. The poem Hoarfrost among the other works of B. L. Pasternak shows a problem of borders in three different ways: as the inner world of the lyrical hero, as a correlation of a fairy-tale and casual aspects of life, and as a state of nature. It is no coincidence that Hoarfrost is included in the “boundary”, transitional to the late stage of Pasternak's work, the Peredelkino cycle.Results. On the one hand, the theme of an end of a unique human life (in contrast to the endlessly reproduced cycle of death and rebirth of nature) is revealed in images of fear, deceptive order and mistrust. On the other hand, the creative gift of poetic (and childlike) vision brings semantics of consolation. The most surprising thing that happens to the lyrical hero is the discovery of correlations: all the solemn harmony of the environment turns out to be a living representation of the poetical harmony, such as Pushkin's quatrain in The Tale of the Dead Princess.Conclusion. Thus, the everyday world is an extension of the ideal, sacred sense. This discovery requires the efforts of the hero, who moves from a sense of discord between a human and the world to a dialogue with nature and the hope of being heard.

Purpose. The aim of the article is to investigate the influence of the F. M. Dostoevsky's creative heritage on the ideological and artistic originality of A. Ponizovsky's novel Turning into a Listening Ear (2013).Results. Ponizovsky's interpretation of Dostoevsky related to the theme of the Russian world and Russian identity. Two plotlines, social (ordinary Russians’ stories) and philosophical (controversy around them), create a conflict field typical for Dostoevsky's works: meaning of life and absurdity of existence, cruelty and compassion, Russian people and Russia. Dostoevsky's intertext is found at all levels of text organization. A deep philosophical understanding of the Russian life’s problems is achieved due to a set of Dostoevsky's intertexts, which have acquired the status of metanarratives in Russian culture (Grushenka's legend about the saving onion, devil's anecdote about a quadrillion kilometers on the way to paradise, Svidrigailov's image of eternity as a bathhouse with spiders). Following Dostoevsky's stylistic strategies includes the usage of a polyphonic novel resources, and reproducing individual techniques of the writer's poetics (anachronism, coexistence of fiction and non-fiction, using of Holy Scripture's text). The very person of Dostoevsky becomes an object of controversy for Ponizovsky. Colliding two concepts of the classic’s image – Freudian and Christian-oriented, the modern author creates a portrait of Dostoevsky’s conflicting personality.Conclusion. The perception of F. M. Dostoevsky's work by A. Ponizovsky is not only reminiscent, but also “genetic” by its nature due to the worldview commonality of these Russian writers.
