Migration processes occur in virtually every state, and they are facilitated by various events that entail a change of residence. Developed countries generally face an uncontrolled influx of migrants, and in less developed countries, the outflow of the local population leads to a sharp deterioration in the socio-economic situation. There are several types of migration, all of which are closely related to many factors – the most obvious are: military conflicts, poverty, social inequality, dictatorial regime, overpopulation. From 2015 on, this problem in the EU countries has become threatening. The destabilization of the situation and the confrontation of the warring parties in the Middle East led to a massive outflow of the local population to the EU countries with the most favorable social conditions and maximum support for migrants. The choice of migrants fell mainly on Germany, Austria, Sweden, Italy. These processes have become difficult to control. To improve the situation, it is necessary to develop new mechanisms for regulating and stabilizing migration processes, otherwise, uncontrolled migration might lead to even greater shocks in the socio-economic system of the European Union and the formation of more complex crises. In the context of global digitalization, software analytical tools could become an auxiliary means for studying, analyzing and forecasting migration processes. This article provides a statistical analysis of the main indicators of migration to European countries, formulates the reasons for its occurrence, and considers examples of simulation models created to study various aspects related to population movements.

The model of coexistence of people and artificial beings (robots) under the condition of dominance of the latter is considered. As a mechanism for the dominance of robots, a mechanism for regulating the distribution of the produced resource between robots and people in the interests of robots is adopted. The study was carried out for two variants of the role of people in the production of a resource: 1) with the interchangeability of people and robots, 2) with the indispensability of people. Various scenarios for the development of events are presented, including those leading to the disappearance of the human population. The impact of a decrease in productivity with an increase in the number of employees on the development of the community has been studied. Conditions have been found that provide humanity with a more or less prosperous future.

Modernity is often referred to as the post-truth era. The development and dissemination of digital technology products, along with positive consequences for many areas of public life, makes us pay attention to a wide range of new-born problems: technological threats, the spread of fake news, an abundance of information flows, etc., which have become risks that cannot be ignored as well as in political, as in the social spheres and daily life. The concept of the post-truth era has become a nominal word to indicate that the knowledge itself (in the philosophical sense of the word) is under threat. The proposed study is devoted to defining the concept of epistemic security and the conditions required to ensure it.

The article considers the possibility of using artificial societies as special cases of computer agent models for the purpose of studying intellectual capital. Three models that fall under the category of "artificial society" were analyzed: the Sugarscape model, the individual-oriented model for the emergence of despotic and egalitarian societies, and the social network model. Each of the studied models was complicated taking into account the introduction/presence of the category of intellectual capital, as a result of which new non-trivial conclusions were obtained. In general, the assumption about the possibility of using the presented models for the purpose of studying and researching intellectual capital was confirmed in the course of the work.

The article researches the grounds on which the leading technology companies seek to transform the mankind’ way of life of and the nature of the "human", using the idea of "metaverses" as a promising project for the development of the Internet. The authors compare this idea with the concept of the "Panopticon" and, as a result of the analysis, draw attention to the opportunities and the threats that metauniverses pose for humanity in the conditions of uncontrolled development of technologies. The authors come to the conclusion that for successful development it is necessary to form and disseminate a new socio-humanitarian rationality, which will allow to ensure control over the activities of technology companies.

A new methodology for modeling the dynamics of a large socio-economic system as an living organism, developing in accordance with the internal structure and inertia and capable of self-organization under the influence of external factors, including control actions, is presented. The methodology is based on the application of the general theory of functional systems by P.K. Anokhin, as well as its formalization - the category theory of systems, according to which the internal architecture of a functional system is represented as a huge graph of connections between its individual elements. In the agent-based model, the elements are agents of two types (people and organizations), and their connections indicate the direction of the transfer of information, material and financial resources. The minimum necessary structure of the properties of agents and their environment, as well as algorithms for their interaction, providing imitation of the formation of inter-agent links, building production chains and creating new economic agents, has been developed.

Modern society and era are characterized by a series of systemic transformations in changing status of science, which leads to changing organization principles of the whole society. Development of modern methods of investigating the behavior of big socio-economic systems is based on creating their artificial analogues and imitational models of processes taking place in it, for example, with the usage of agent-based approach. Social sciences, including strategy as a science are not an exception here, gradually becoming closer to natural sciences both in tools and methodology principles, relying on interdisciplinary of researches and defining necessity of creating artificial societies and virtual worlds (metauniverses) as research models of real society and economy. Strategy as a relatively new science is not an exception in a sphere of creating new terminology and using research tools that need conceptual elaboration of independent agents’ behavior models that have a set of individual properties, as well as existing conditions of these agents (environment factors) and behavior rules, to which the agents obey. With certitude of practical orientation of strategy as a science, proved by series of historical and economical events, its fundamentality needs to be substantiated. In a cycle out of two articles, an attempt to substantiate strategy as a fundamental science, defining agents behavior as central units of artificial societies modelling, based on research of its philosophical roots and theoretical-methodological is made, which is a goal of this research. The second work is presented. As results of this second article, strategy is researched from a fundamentality position, for substantiation of this such key theoretical-methodological characteristics as: (1) content of “science” definition and its structural elements – scientific problem, facts, hypothesis, study, law; (2) distinctive features of science – purposefulness, evidentiary, versatility, consistency, objectivity, presence of a special terminology, methodology, observability of objects and phenomena, presence of paradigm, results, social and practical significance; (3) presence of terminology – general and specific (strategy, formal strategy, strategizing, strategist, object of strategizing, strategical management, strategical plan, artificial societies, agent-based approach).

The article provides a comprehensive study of the problem of the virtual in public relations from the standpoint of structural functionalism, social constructivism, social phenomenology and the theory of organ projection developed by M. McLuhan. The structure of the study suggests a consistent transition from analyzing the role of the social worldview as a single form of manifestation of social consciousness to studying the place of virtual elements in it, as well as reflecting the mechanisms of their formation and representation in the social environment. The virtual component of the social worldview is analyzed for functionality. Within the framework of the work, social risks associated with the spread of certain forms of virtual in the social and communicative environment are noted.

The article analyzes the concepts of artificial personality and artificial consciousness, and shows the key difficulties of implementing projects to create such artificial intelligence systems. These difficulties are related to the following characteristics of artificial personality and artificial consciousness: 1) creativity and free will; 2) intentionality; 3) qualia; 4) first person perspective; 5) the passage of time in consciousness. The basic needs for an artificial personality (in the context of the development of natural and artificial intelligence) are indicated. Two directions of artificial personality formation are highlighted: 1) transformation of an artificial system into an artificial personality; 2) transformation of a person into an artificial personality.
