Encryption, which is the backbone of security protocols, is computationally intensive and consumes energy and computational resources that are limited in wireless devices. This paper focuses on evaluating the performance of Rijndael-Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) encryption scheme in terms of energy consumed and execution time, and modeling the computational operations involved. The objective is to provide simulation results to help in the design and optimization of efficient cryptographic techniques. The computational model as a function of primitive operations shows a good estimate of encryption complexity, hence the energy consumption for encryption.

The defect structures such as surface atomic steps and point defects have been studied by computer simulation of ion scattering and channelling processes. The energy and angular distributions of ions scattered and dechannelled from semi-infinite and isolated steps on the Cu(100) and GaP(100) surface as well as the characteristics of particles channelled through Cu(100) with point defect structures have been calculated. It was shown that the low energy ion scattering and channelling can be use successfully for analysis of defect structures in single crystals.

Abstract -In this paper, we present optimization tasks of the spectral and power efficiency of the m-ary channels' in wireless and mobile networks. The invariant efficiency criterions based on the m-ary digital channel's Shannon capacity are introduced. Two invariant fundamental resources efficiency optimums are investigated: first - the maximum spectral efficiency in bit-per-second-per-Hertz, and seconds -the minimum specific power consumption in SNR-per-bit-per-second-per-Hertz. These criterions were constructed based on invariant parameters. The fact that the value of invariant function F(x1, x2...) does not change by substitution instead of every x1 argument's his x1* (x1, x2,...) invariant maps may be suitable for universal appropriateness research both information measures and power measures.

This paper aims at presenting an analysis of the telecommunication services diffusion process in Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). Also to investigate diffusion dynamics and to analyze complementarity and competition trends among technologies. To identify the most important factors associated with Telecommunication services diffusion, determinants and their influences in the diffusion among the CIS countries. The Telecommunication services in this analysis include: Internet, mobile cellular phone and fixed telephone services. Present study assigns Internet service as well as fixed telephone and mobile phone service to the category of telecommunications services by incorporating the effects of the Internet in the telecommunications service market. In this paper we apply modified diffusion models to telecommunication growth in CIS countries. Empirical analysis presents - telecommunication services in CIS are mostly complementary to each other. Analyses of estimation results and factors associated with ICT diffusion dynamism can play significant role to provide policy recommendations for these countries and for other developing countries to achieve the desired pervasiveness of the information communication technologies.

Nowadays, WiMAX has become one of the candidate networks in order to achieve high speed Internet via wireless access systems .In this paper, the broadband wireless access system provided by IEEE802.16 and its modification for mobile customers IEEE802.16e will be addressed .Exclusively the downlink data transmission will be considered .the system performance will be tested in different operating environment. Rayleigh fading channel, channel estimation and equalization are considered also partial and full usage of subcarriers will be investigated with the support of cyclic prefix implementation. In addition the proposed simulation model has been tested using a Stanford channel model.

A new tone reservation (TR) scheme for the peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) reduction in the orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system is proposed. Different from the conventional TR scheme, the cancellation signals are generated by using FFT/IFFT iteration. Simulation results show that the new TR scheme based on FFT/IFFT has a perfect PAPR reduction performance and the number of iteration is significantly reduced.
