Temu Giring (Curcuma heyneana Val.): Sebuah Tinjauan Morfologi, Fitokimia, dan Farmakologi

Temu giring sebagai tanaman komoditas obat memberi kontribusi masih dibawah 5%, sedangkan produksi kunyit lebih memberikan kontribusi produksi lebih besar dengan prosentase sebesar 18,82%. Tujuan dari tinjauan ini adalah untuk menyajikan informasi yang komprehensif mengenai morfologi, konstituen kimia, penelitian biologi tentang farmakologi sebagai bukti ilmiah khasiat temu giring  untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut dalam pengobatan tradisional. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan. Data penelitian berupa jurnal dan buku tentang temu giring dan tanaman obat tradisional (jamu) serta dilengkapi dengan foto. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode content analysis dengan cara membuat inferensi yang replicabel dan dengan data yang valid, dengan memperhatikan konteksnya. Morgologi temu giring menunjukkan warna rimpang berwarna kuning cerah. Rimpang temu giring memiliki aktivitas antioksidan, antivirus, antiaging, dan antimikroba.  Senyawa aktif yang umumnya bertanggungjawab terhadap aktivitas farmakologi adalah golongan heyneanone, fenolik, saponin, flavonoid, dan minyak atsiri.

PENGARUH PUASA SENIN-KAMIS DAN DAUD TERHADAP KADAR ASAM URAT DARAH MENCIT 禁食星期四和大卫对痛风的影响

Hyperuricemia is a condition where there is an increase in blood uric acid levels above normal. This disease is a strong predictor of death due to cardiovascular damage. One non-pharmacological way to prevent or treat this disease is by fasting. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect of fasting on uric acid levels in the blood. This research is an experiment with Complete Random Design (CRD) method. The experimental animals used were mice aged 8-10 weeks and weighing 23-26 grams. The treatment given is (A) not fasting as a control, (B) fasting Monday-Thursday, (C) fasting Daud. The treatment was given for 36 days and the blood of the mice was taken and the uric acid level was measured. The data obtained were then analyzed using one way ANOVA SPSS statistical program with a significance level of 5%. The results showed that the sig value > 0.05, which means that the fasting Monday-Thursday and Daud did not affect the blood uric acid levels of mice.

Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Project Based Learning Disertai Media Flipcharts Dan Media Video Ditinjau Dari Kemampuan Menyelesaikan Masalah Dan Keingintahuan

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran project based learning disertai media flipcharts dan media video ditinjau dari kemampuan memecahkan masalah dan keingintahuan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Populasi dan sampel penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X program keahlian TPHP SMK Negeri 3 Kudus tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes kognitif, angket keingintahuan, dan soal pemecahan masalah serta metode observasi untuk mendapatkan data prestasi belajar afektif dan psikomotor. Data dianalisis menggunakan anava tiga jalan dengan desain factorial 2 x 2 x 2 menggunakan SPSS 18. Berdasarkan hasil analisis disimpulkan bahwa : 1) ada perbedaan pengaruh antara pembelajaran dengan media video dan flipcharts, 2) tidak ada pengaruh antara kemampuan memecahkan masalah terhadap prestasi belajar, 3) tidak ada pengaruh antara keingintahuan terhadap prestasi belajar, 4) tidak memberikan pengaruh secara bersama media flipcharts maupun video dengan kemampuan memecahkan masalah terhadap prestasi belajar, 5) tidak memberikan pengaruh secara bersama media flipcharts maupun video dengan keingintahuan terhadap prestasi belajar, 6) kemampuan memecahkan masalah dan keingintahuan siswa merupakan dua hal yang saling independen sehingga jika keduanya dinteraksikan tidak memberikan perbedaan pengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar siswa, 7) pengguanaan media pembelajaran , kemampuan memecahkan masalah dan keingintahuan siswa secara bersama-sama ternyata tidak memberi pengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar kognitif siswa.
本研究的目的是确定基于学习模式的学习模式以及媒体flipcharts和视频媒体对学生学习成绩的解决问题和好奇心的影响。这项研究采用了实验方法。2011 /2014学年,X班的学生全部是TPHP SMK国家3项神圣专业的TPHP SMK课程。利用认知测试、好奇心、解决问题和观察方法来收集数据,以获得情感和精神运动能力学习成绩的数据。数据采用采用factorial设计2×2×2使用SPSS 18进行分析。根据分析得出的结论:1)之间是有区别的影响媒体视频和flipcharts学习,2)没有能力解决问题之间对学习成绩的影响,3)没有好奇心之间对学习成绩的影响,4)不影响flipcharts和视频媒体共同解决问题的能力对学习成绩,5)不产生共同影响flipcharts和视频媒体对学习成绩的好奇心,6)解决问题的能力和学生的好奇心是两性的,因此,如果两种方法对学生的学习成绩没有影响,那么学习媒体奖学金、解决问题的能力和学生的好奇心对学生的认知学习表现没有明显的影响。

Pengembangan Bahan Ajar SRETS (Science, Religious, Environment, Technology, And Society) Dalam Pembelajaran Biologi

Latar belakang penelitian ini karena belum adanya bahan ajar Biologi kelas XI MA/SMA dengan pendekatan SRETS (Science, Religious, Environment, Technology and Society) pada materi sistem imun di sekolah MA Sunniyyah Selo Grobogan. Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan Bahan Ajar Biologi berpendekatan SRETS (Science, Religious, Environment, Technology and Society)  pada materi sistem imun Kelas XI Semester Genap di MA Sunniyyah Selo Grobogan. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan prosedur yang dikemukakan oleh Thiagarajan (4-D). Model ini terdiri dari 4 tahap pengembangan, yaitu Define, Design, Develop dan Disseminate. Setelah tahap Develop dilakukan pengujian kelayakan oleh ahli materi, ahli media serta guru biologi, sedangkan pengukuran aspek kognitif dilakukan dengan memberi post-test kemudian diuji keefektifannya dengan menggunakan uji t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar biologi dikategorikan sangat layak untuk digunakan. Hal ini di dasarkan pada persentase 82% (ahli materi), 96,5% (ahli media) dan 87,58% (guru biologi). Tingkat respon peserta didik terhadap bahan ajar biologi dengan pendekatan SRETS mencapai 83,61% dengan kategori sangat layak digunakan. Berdasarkan uji t satu pihak diperoleh thitung< ttabel (0,2027<2,045) sehinggga rata-rata nilai biologi pada materi sistem imun setelah mempelajari bahan ajar biologi berpendekatan SRETS lebih dari nilai KKM=75. Maka bahan ajar biologi berpendakatan SRETS efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN TECHNOLOGICAL PEDAGOGICAL AND CONTENT KNOWLEDGE MAHASISWA CALON GURU BIOLOGI MELALUI KEGIATAN PRESENTASI DI KELAS

Perkembangan teknologi dan komunikasi menuntut mahasiswa sebagai calon guru tidak hanya dapat menguasai materi dan cara membelajarkan siswa, namun juga menggunakan teknologi untuk memahamkan peserta didik. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan technological pedagogical content knowledge melalui kegiatan presentasi di dalam perkuliahan. Subyek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa tadris biologi yang mengikuti perkuliahan teknik dan manajemen laboratorium sebanyak 33 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan melalui lembar penilaian observasi kegiatan presentasi. Berdasarkan hasil dan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bhawa kemampuan technological pedagogical content and knowledge mahasiswa yang diperoleh melaluni kegiatan presentasi masih rendah. Kemampuan  content knowledge dengan kategori sedang, kemampuan pedagogical knowledge dengan kategori rendah, kemampuan pedagogical content knowledge dengan kategori rendah, kemampuan technological knowledge dengan kategori tinggi dan kemampuan technological pedagogical knowledge dengan kategori sedang.   Faktor yang paling mendukung kemampuan TPACK mahasiswa calon guru adalah adanya penggunaan teknologi. Hal ini disebabkan mahasiswa merupakan generasi milenial yang memiliki kemampuan cepat dalam mengikuti perubahan teknologi.

Misconception In Scientific Literature On Journal Online That Discuss Integration Of Science And Religion In Era 4.0 论4.0时代科学与宗教融合的在线期刊科学文献中的误区

Era 4.0 or the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 positioned information technology as a very basic need in human life. This causes disruption of various human activities, including in the field of education, namely in the case of scientific literature from online journals which become references or sources of literature for academics. Along with this, a new paradigm is developing about the integration of science and religion in the world of education, (the aim of which is to equip the alumni not only with skills in the field of science and technology but also to equip with IMTAQ), so that scientific literature is also emerging. in this case are articles in online scientific journals that raise topics or themes about the integration of science and religion. The articles were compiled by writers from various types of different educational backgrounds who of course have different understanding of the concepts or science material itself. This research aims to reveal and enlighten the existence of misconceptions in scientific literature that examines the integration of science and religion (Islam). This research is a qualitative research with a case study method, the data collection process is carried out by collecting and documenting scientific articles that examine the integration of science and religion in scientific online journals from various universities in Indonesia. The collected data is then analyzed by theorical analysis. The results showed that many misconceptions in the scientific literature that examined the integration of science and religion (Islam) are related to the scientific concepts described. The hope, with the results of this study can knock the hearts of researchers or academics with educational backgrounds in the field of science to improve and develop research related to the integration of science and religion (Islam) especially in this 4.0 era.

Development of Biomagz Based on Local Wisdom on Biodiversity Material in High School 基于地方智慧的高中生物多样性材料生物园区开发

This study aims to describe the types of learning resources used previously at SMA N 3 Salatiga, describe the feasibility of Biomagz Based on Local Wisdom, and test the effectiveness of Biomagz Based on Local Wisdom on learning outcomes and student’s environmental care attitude. The method used is research development (R & D). Products are validated by material and media validators, and revised before being tested. Small-scale trials (readability test) use 10 students from class X MIPA 1, while large-scale trials use class X MIPA 2 with the experimental design Pre-experimental Design with the type of Pre-test and Post-test One Group Design. The results of the study show the variety of learning resources used previously including biological, teacher, internet, biology books, and the environment around students. The Feasibility of Biomagz Based on Local Wisdom obtained an average score of 92.21% with very decent criteria. Large-scale trials with an average N-gain value 0.49 in the medium category, the average classical completeness is 85.29%, and the environment care attitude of students is based on the observation result of 92.9% with a high category and the result of the inter-student assessment is 86, 18% with a high category. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that Biomagz Based Local Wisdom is well worth and effective on learning outcomes and student’s environmental care attitude.

Development of Interactive Multimedia for Human Reproduction System in Junior High School 交互式多媒体初中人体生殖系统的开发

The study was aim to find out the effectiveness of the multimedia interactive for human reproduction system learning.  The research was done at Junior High School 5 Pemalang with the design of research is Research and Development (R&D). The small scale trial of the product was done in 23 students with proportionate stratified random sampling method. The larger scale trial of the product was done in IX A class with Purposive Sampling Method and One Group Pre-test Post-test Experimental Design. The assessment from the experts to the multimedia interactive for system human reproduction learning obtains a high score as much as 89.58% for course assessment and 97.22% for media assessment. The results from the teacher and students response questionnaire in small scale trial obtain the average percentage as much as 100 % and 81.55 % respectively, which was high qualified. The effectiveness of Multimedia Interactive in learning could be seen in pretest and post test results with calculating N-gain and obtain N-gain 0.54, which was categorized as middle. Beside N-gain, the completeness of understanding the concepts become another effectiveness of multimedia interactive obtain 88% in classical completeness.   The results of the study shows that the multimedia interactive was qualified and effective to enhance the students’ learning outcome in the course of system human reproduction.

Students Worksheet Based on 7E Learning Cycle: Strategies to Improve Activities and Understanding the Concept of Excretion System in MA 基于7E学习周期的学生工作表:改进活动的策略和对排泄系统概念的理解

This study aims to determine the effect of students worksheets of 7E learning cycle on activities and understanding the concept of excretion systems at MAN 1 Jepara. The research method used was pre-experimental design with one shot case study. Population of this research was all the students of XI class at MAN 1 Jepara with the samples were XI MIPA 2 and XI MIPA 3 which were taken by purposive sampling. Research data in the form of student activities taken with an observation sheet and understanding the concepts taken with a test. Student activity data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively while understanding the concepts was analyzed by Wilcoxon and N-gain. The results of the study show that the average activity value of XI MIPA 2 students is 88.99% and XI MIPA 3 is 88.63% with the criteria of both classes were very high. The average results of conceptual understanding of students of class XI MIPA 2 is 78.67 with classical completeness is 87.18% while class XI MIPA 3 is 81.73 with classical completeness of  91.89%. The results of the analysis using the Wilcoxon show that the sig value. 0,000<0,05, means that there are significant differences between the results of the pretest before the application of student worksheet based on 7E learning cycle and posttest results after the application of student worksheet based on 7E learning cycle. The results of the N-gain test showed an increase in understanding of concepts in class XI MIPA 2 and XI MIPA 3 of 0.565 and 0.588 with medium criteria. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that learning using the students worksheet based on 7E learning cycle influences the activity and understanding of the excretion system concept of the XI grade students of MAN 1 Jepara.

The Student Factor Analysis Choosing Biology as A Options Subject of Computer-Based National Examination 学生选择生物学作为全国计算机化考试选修科目的因素分析

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence learners in choosing Biology as the subject of choice of UNBK and analyze the most dominant factor in influencing learners choose Biology as the preferred subject of UNBK. This research is a mixed method research using sequential mix method with qualitative-quantitative sequential explanatory strategy. The population in this study are students of science majors class XII who choose Biology in SMA N 1 Pecangaan and SMA N 1 Jepara, amounting to 208 learners. The technique of sampling data using random sampling technique. Determination of the number of samples using Isaac and Michael formula with a 95% confidence level, so that obtained at least 131 samples from 208 members of the population. The results of this study indicate: (1) There are 9 factors that influence the Friends and Parents, Interests and Motivation, Ideals and Profession of Parents, Ability, Teacher and Parents, School Environment, Perception, and Interest and Achievement. The most dominant factor affecting is Friends and Parents with an eigenvalue of 6,922 which can explain the variant variation of 24.723% of cumulative variance percentage of 71,675%.
本研究旨在分析影响学生选择生物学作为UNBK首选科目的因素,分析影响学生选择生物学作为UNBK首选科目的最主要因素。本研究是采用序列混合方法结合定性定量序列解释策略的混合方法研究。本研究的人群为pangaan和Jepara两所中学理科专业12班选择生物学的学生,共208人。采用随机抽样技术对数据进行抽样的技术。使用Isaac和Michael公式确定样本数量,置信水平为95%,从而从总体的208个成员中获得至少131个样本。本研究结果表明:(1)影响大学生朋友与父母、兴趣与动机、父母理想与职业、能力、教师与父母、学校环境、感知、兴趣与成就的因素有9个。最主要的影响因素是朋友和父母,特征值为6922,可以解释累积方差百分比为71675%的变异变异的24.723%。
