O registro é importante para atualizar a lista de espécies do estado e pode ajudar na busca por novas populações na região.

Efeito do chorume originário mediante o processo de compostagem na cultura de Phaseolus vulgaris 堆肥过程产生的泥浆对菜豆培养的影响

O chorume ainda é um sério problema ambiental. No entanto, estudos vem desenvolvendo meios para a utilização desse efluente altamente contaminante em benefício para a agricultura sustentável. Este estudo teve por objetivo verificar através de chorume líquido produzido por composteira alternativa uso como biofertilizante no desenvolvimento e análises de parâmetros de plantas de feijoeiro (Phaseolus vulgaris) cv. BRS FC 402. O chorume foi preparado a partir de resíduos orgânicos de hortaliças, leguminosas e foliares. Diferentes doses de chorume foram aplicadas por pulverização após a germinação do feijoeiro totalizando 3 aplicações com intervalos de 15 dias. Após aplicações, foram analisados parâmetros vegetativos para diâmetro de caule, número de folhas, altura de planta, comprimento raiz, número de vagens, massa fresca e massa seca em P. vulgaris. Os resultados demonstram que não houve incremento significativo entre as diferentes dosagens de chorume em comparação com a testemunha para todos os parâmetros vegetativos analisados. Ainda, foi observado que o diâmetro de caule e número de folhas é prejudicado em todas as concentrações de chorume aplicadas. Este foi um estudo piloto para esse cv. de Phaseolus vulgaris, estudos futuros deverão ser realizados avaliando características físico-químicas do solo e do chorume, sua influência sobre a disposição de minerais, influência do pH estabilidado e ácido in natura e dosagens inferiores e superiores as usuais.

Effect of Cold Chain on Chicken Egg Quality in a Simulated Post Washing Processing and Consumer Storage Model 冷链对鸡蛋品质的影响在模拟洗后加工和消费者储存模型中

This study assessed the effect of the cold chain on egg quality in a model simulation of post-washing processing and consumer storage. Post-washed eggs were assigned to 12 groups that simulated the conditions of temporary storage after washing (step 1; 7°C or 25°C for 1 day), transportation (step 2; 7°C or 30°C for 8 h), and selling or storage (step 3; 7°C, 25°C or 30°C for 4 weeks). The freshness and microbial characteristics of the eggs were analyzed for 4 weeks. High-temperature conditions in steps 1 or 2 resulted in reduced quality and more bacteria on eggshells, and this egg quality deterioration worsened after storage for over 2 weeks. In step 3, the quality of the eggs stored at 7°C was maintained during the entire storage, whereas the eggs stored at 25°C had lower quality and broken vitelline membranes in week 4, and the eggs stored at 30°C were spoiled. Eggs should be stored from post-washing until storage by consumers in a cold environment without interruption of temperature control to maintain quality and safety. Consumers must be aware that eggs should be stored at refrigerator temperature

Three Months of Composting Are Enough to Eliminate the Fowl Typhoid Bacteria 三个月的堆肥足以消灭家禽伤寒细菌

The composting technique has been increasingly highlighted in poultry production units, as an efficient and low-cost solution for the destination of carcasses. The process is based on the accelerated decomposition of organic material under high temperatures, associated with eliminating pathogenic microorganisms. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness and the time necessary for the elimination of Salmonella Gallinarum in carcasses of poultry submitted to the composting process. The composting was carried out following the models used in the field, and microbiological analysis was performed in five different periods: 45, 90, 120, 150 and 180-days after closing the composter. After 90 days of experiment and in the subsequent analysis, the elimination of the bacteria in 100% of the samples was verified, validating the composting process as an effective method for eliminating S . Gallinarum in poultry carcasses, when respecting the period necessary for the elimination of the bacteria and the good quality of the structure adopted for the process.

Reproduction factor of Meloidogyne javanica, M. incognita and Pratylenchus brachyurus in sorghum, millet and sunflower varieties 高粱、谷子和葵花品种爪哇花栗鼠、无头花栗鼠和短尾花栗鼠的繁殖因子

The use of agricultural species resistant to root-knotting and root-wounding nematodes, in crop rotation systems, keeps the nematode population at low levels, reducing losses and enabling the planting of more susceptible species. In this study, the resistance of sorghum, millet and sunflower genotypes to root-knot nematodes Meloidogyne javanica, M. incognita and Pratylenchus brachyurus was evaluated. The tests were conducted in a greenhouse and the genotypes sown in plastic pots containing 2 L of sterilized substrate and inoculated with 1,600 nematode eggs and juveniles per pot, arranged in a completely randomized design with nine replications. The evaluation of nematode reproduction was performed by counting the number of juveniles/adults per root system and soil, calculating the Reproduction Factor (FR = Pf/Pi). According to the results, all sorghum, millet and sunflower genotypes behaved as resistant to the reproduction of M. javanica, M. incognita and P. brachyurus. Commercial resistant genotypes are indicated for use in rotation of areas infested by these nematodes.

Effect of duration of mycelia fragmentation and concentration on virulence of Mycosphaerella fijiensis in banana 香蕉菌丝断裂时间和浓度对斐济分枝杆菌毒力的影响

Mycelia from 3 isolates of Mycosphaerella fijiensis (Mak 01, Mak 02 and Kaw 10) were fragmented for 3 and 1 minutes, and tested at 5 mg mL-1, 10 mg mL-1 and 15 mg mL-1 for virulence in the screen house. Disease severity was found to depend on the level of fragmentation and concentration. Inoculation of Gros Michel plantlets with mycelia fragmented for 3 minutes resulted in significantly higher levels of disease severity (AUDPC) than fragmentation for 1 minute for all the isolates. For both times of fragmentation, AUDPC increased with concentration. The highest and lowest AUDPCs for both times of fragmentation were achieved with concentrations of 15 and 5 mg mL-1, respectively. Overall, all the three isolates demonstrated high levels of virulence, with Mak 01 causing the highest severity (AUDPC - 98.5) when compared to Mak 02 (AUDPC - 93.5) and Kaw 10 (AUDPC - 92.2) for 3-minute fragmentation and concentration of 15 mg mL-1. Collectively, our data demonstrate that a potent inoculum of Mycosphaerella fijiensis for in vitro studies can be reliably prepared by fragmenting weighed mycelia in a blender.

Phytochemical prospecting and biological activities of the floral extract from [Impatiens walleriana (Hook.)] (Balsaminaceae) 凤仙花(凤仙花科)花提取物的植物化学勘探及生物活性研究

Impatiens walleriana is a plant species that presents diversity and variety of colors among flowers. This plant species has wide distribution and is easily cultivable throughout the world including natural gardens, greenhouses and parks. This study aims at evaluating the floral extracts of I. walleriana in terms of their qualitative phytochemical constitution and antifungal activities on Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, Colletotrichum gloeosporioides and Colletotrichum acutatum, as well as on the reduction of DPPH free radical and on the inhibition of acetylcholinesterase (AChE). Flowers were collected from two cultivars Pink and White of I. walleriana and the extract produced by maceration. The phytochemical qualitative assay was carried out using different reagents for determination by precipitation or colorimetric alteration. The antifungal test was carried out in Petri dishes with different concentrations of floral extract on S. sclerotiorum, C. gloeosporioides and C. acutatum. The DPPH reduction assay was performed by percentage and as standard antioxidant ascorbic acid. The acetylcholinesterase inhibition test was performed in percentage using Electrophorus electricus. Positive results were observed for phenolics, anthocyanins, organic acids, alkaloids, catechins, tannins, carboxylic acids, hemolytic saponins and sesquiterpene lactones. Fungal inhibition effect was better observed for cv. Pink with 10-26%, 6% and between 9-11% on S. sclerotiorum, C. gloeosporioides and C. acutatum, respectively. The DPPH reduction activity showed satisfactory results for cv. Pink 49% followed by cv. White 41%. And for inhibition of AChE cv. Pink with 30% and cv. White with 27%. The floral extracts of Impatiens walleriana show good results for the biological activities tested, especially for cv. Pink.

The objective of this study was to characterize the dynamics of food passage in the gastrointestinal tract (GIT) of Japanese quail. A randomized design was used with four treatments and four experimental units with one bird each, nine of which were measured in time. The ingredients used were albumin, starch, cellulose, and soybean oil. Suspensions containing barium sulfate and saline were prepared, except for soybean oil. For each bird, 2.5 mL of the suspension was administered directly to the crop. Dual-energy absorptiometry (DEXA) was used to quantify the passage of food. The birds were sedated and maintained under inhalation anesthesia during the scan. Measurements were taken at intervals of 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, and 24 h. The variables identified were passage time, first quality, and the average time of each variable. Based on these results, the ingredients may show differences in dynamic passing on the Japanese quail GIT. The duration of the first attempt was 32 min, ranging from 21 to 44 min. The average time value of food choice was close to 10.8 h and varied according to the ingredient from 8.45–12.16 h. Among the variables, soybean oil presented values that denote a fast passage in the GIT, while albumin presented values that denote a slower passage. The dynamics of food passage in the GIT of Japanese quails varies according to the chemical composition of the ingredients.

Treatment replanning in head and neck cancer radiotherapy: an investigation based on clinical dosimetry 基于临床剂量学的头颈部肿瘤放疗治疗再规划研究

Radiotherapy is a medical specialty based on controlled use of ionizing radiation for therapeutic purposes. Patients submitted to external beam radiation therapy of head and neck may suffer anatomical changes during the course of treatment. Frequent causes of such variations are the reduction of tumor volume, the progression of the disease during the course of radiotherapy, the loss of weight, and other causes. The conventional treatments are made of 33 to 35 fractions. Thus, the interval of time between the treatment planning computed tomography (CT) and the conclusion of the treatment surpasses two months. Monitoring significant anatomical variations and making adjustments to the plans of radiotherapy during the course of radiotherapy could be a relevant strategy to achieve the objectives proposed for the treatments. The objective of this study was to analyze how the variations in volume of interest, both target structures and healthy tissues could affect the dose distribution in the patient in radiation therapy treatment of head and neck cancer. This analysis will be made through investigation of metrics dose-volume, volumetric variations of target structures, as well as the parotid glands, patient thickness in the cervical region, image fusion, and isodose surfaces plotted on the CTs. The timing to Replan head and neck cancer appears to be around the 15th fraction of treatment, however a study with a larger number of patients is necessary. In case of adaptive radiotherapy, reduction of mean dose in the ipsilateral parotid was observed in 100% of patients, while in the contralateral parotid reduction was observed in 80% of patients. The decision to replan head and neck cancer has benefit in the spinal cord and brainstem since this study showed reduction in the maximum dose in 70% of patients in case of treatment replan. Decrease of dose including 95% of volume and minimum dose in the PTV (mean percentage decrease observed was 7.71%) was observed in case of no treatment replan. Increase in the maximum dose in the PTV was observed, for which the mean percentage increase observed was 2.42%. Adaptive radiotherapy improves the coverage of target volumes as well as the doses in OARs.
