Hybrid random number generator based on chaotic oscillator 基于混沌振荡器的混合随机数发生器

This paper presents a hybrid random number generator (HRNG) based on a combination of discrete-time chaotic oscillator and a linear feedback shift register (LFSR). The chaotic oscillator is designed and simulated using a 0.18μm CMOS technology with a supply voltage of 1.8 V. The chaotic dynamics is verified in time domain and analyzed to show the suitable properties of true randomness source. A random signal is produced by the chaotic oscillator and then, to increases the randomness; the signal is combined with LFSR signal through XOR gate. The throughput of the HRNG is 1Mbit/s and the randomness is tested using NIST statistical tests.

Solving bird image overlapping for automatic population counts of birds using image processing 利用图像处理技术解决鸟类图像重叠问题,实现鸟类自动种群计数

The counting bird population for assessment of the abundance of ecosystem is very important. The problem is overlapped bird in images. This research is purposed to solve bird image overlapping for counting population of birds using image processing. There are 4 techniques of image processing. Firstly, noisy dot and background are removed in bird image using multilevel thresholding. Secondly, the Region growing finds size of the bird by finding area value for segment of the image. Thirdly, the distance transform finds distance between images for segment of object. Finally, the erosion technique is used for object reduction which relationship of pixels in 4 directions. The experimental results have high precision as 0.96 and accuracy as 0.89 as recall 0.92 with different 6 images. The benefit of this research increases the performance of counting bird population which is one of the factors to discover an abundance of ecosystem.

Perspectives and innovation roadmap for service ability enhancement of Thai E-government 泰国电子政务服务能力提升的展望与创新路线图

This paper presents a digital perspective and innovation roadmap for Thailand E-government in order to increase service level standards. This paper considers technology priority matrix for digital government. Readiness is also considered directly for the proposed roadmap. In addition, this paper provides the reviews of current status of Thailand's E-government, and an innovated solution in information systems. Perspectives application reach and key technology are also included.

Small particle reagent based on natural dyes for developing latent fingerprints on non-porous wet surfaces 基于天然染料的小颗粒试剂,用于在无孔潮湿表面上显影潜在指纹

The latent fingerprint may be found on items which have been accidentally or deliberately wetted. One of the most effective application techniques for developing latent prints on wet non-porous surfaces is small particle reagent (SPR). SPR based on zinc carbonate and mixed with natural dyes (curcumin and anthocyanin) and commercial liquid detergent. Immersed the latent fingerprints into clean water and dirty water for 30 days, i.e. stainless, mirror and plastic slide. Three surfaces were taken out and sprayed with SPR formulations everyday. In the present experimental study the best results were given by stainless surface followed by glass and plastic, respectively.

Multimedia utilization of PowerPoint presentations 多媒体ppt演示的运用

The article deals with the issues of creating students' PowerPoint presentations in the humanities, in general. Basic goals are defined, along with requirements and presentation evaluation criteria and students' group tasks where the presentations are delivered. Moreover, how students assesses the utilization of the humanities in the virtual study environment is analysed. Results of partial empirical surveys from the academic years 2005/2006 and 2015/2016 are included. Materials necessary for creation and evaluation of PowerPoint presentations within the four-semester subject ‘Chapters from Literature and Culture of German Speaking Countries’ are indicated in detail.

Development of Web-Based instruction for review on English 网络英语复习教学的发展

The purposes of this research were develop and determine the quality and efficiency and to compare the students pre-test and post-test achievement in learning by development of Web-Based instruction for review on conditional sentences or if-clause. The samples of 60 students for the research were for the cluster random sampling from students in second semester in academic year 2015 at computer department Technology Wangdek PAT Business Administration College (PATBAC). The research instruments were development of Web-Based instruction for Review on conditional sentences or if-clause and the quality evaluation questionnaire and achievement test on development of Web-Based instruction for review on conditional sentences or if-clause and the achievement test with the index of congruency value from 0.67–1, difficulty ranging from 0.20–0.75, discrimination value from 0.20–0.50 and reliability of 0.82 at data was analyzed by mean, standard deviation and dependent sample t-test, The results of this research found that : 1) Web-Based instruction for review on conditional sentences or if-clause in terms of the content and the media producton technique was at good level (=3.83, S.D=0.40) and (=3.88, S.D=0.30) 2) Web-Based instruction for review on conditional sentences or if-clause has efficiency (E1/E2) of 83.22/85.77 3) post achievement mean after studying the tutoring of Web-Based instruction for review on conditional sentences or if-clause was higher than the pre-test mean at 0.05 statistical significant level according the results were consistent with the hypotheses.

Wi-Fi usage monitoring and power management policy for smartphone background applications 智能手机后台应用的Wi-Fi使用监控和电源管理策略

Wi-Fi networks provide us with the connectivity that is ubiquitous and inexpensive cost. With the low-cost factor, most smartphone apps perform several background tasks under Wi-Fi instead of the cellular network, e.g., app update, cloud data backup, etc. The increase of Wi-Fi utilization leads to fast battery-powered draining. To reduce the Wi-Fi power consumption, the existing power management policies put Wi-Fi into a sleep mode when it is idle. However, there are no practical power management policies to manage the Wi-Fi power consumption while it is being used heavily. In this paper, we present a monitoring method and power management policy for Wi-Fi while several background apps are utilizing it. The proposed method can non-intrusively monitor the Wi-Fi usage of background apps at the application framework level (API) in runtime without modifying any source codes of the smartphone operating systems. With the API-level monitoring data, we can apply it to efficiently manage the Wi-Fi power consumed by a specific app which causes the power consumption issue. Our experimental evaluation shows that by applying our method to only one background app, which is the most use of the Wi-Fi network, it results in 8% improvement of the total energy consumption, compared with the default Wi-Fi power management policy.

Computer-aided analysis for breast cancer detection in thermography 热成像中乳腺癌检测的计算机辅助分析

The purpose of this study is to develop a texture-based algorithm for breast cancer classification in Thermography and performance evaluation for the purposed method. The aim of screening a disease is early detection in order to decrease the rate of mortality. CAD systems can be reckonable diagnostic tools for this importance and Infra-red imaging is expressed as a portable, non-invasive, non-contact and radiation-free diagnostic tool among them.

Teaching and learning German vocabulary in secondary schools 中学德语词汇教学

At the presented paper I will cover the teaching and learning of German vocabulary in secondary schools in the Czech Republic. Firstly, I briefly tackle the standing of German as the second foreign language at that level of education, then I am exploring the main areas of that specific field of teaching and learning, word families and compounds of German. In the next part of the paper I am speaking on some vocabulary teaching techniques. I am evaluating the effectiveness of some of the commonly used strategies against the background of academic literature and of my own experience. I briefly touch upon the issue of guessing the meaning of a word on the base of context. Finally I am adding some recommendations of mine.
